James returned to the humans’ Heavenly Court.

However, he found them besieged by a group of powerhouse.

An army and some powerhouses from the Human Race gathered outside the South Heaven Gate.

Thea stood at the forefront, staring coldly at the many creatures besieging the Heavenly Court.

Swoosh! At that moment, a light descended from the sky, and a man emerged before the humans.

“James!” “Dad! n Everyone called out to him.

James looked at the armed humans behind him, nodded lightly, then looked at the opponents.

He unleashed his Zen and found that they were really powerful.

Amongst them was someone at the Transcendental Bliss Rank with great achievements.

James glared at them and asked, “Why are you attacking us? Who are you people?” A man walked out

of the group, stared at James, and replied, “We were ordered to capture Thea.” James frowned and

asked, “Capture Thea? By who? Why do you want to capture her?” “These are questions you shouldn’t

ask.

We're under orders and aren’t here to kill anyone.

If you’re sensible, please step away.” Thea stepped forward and said, “They're too strong, James.

I’ll go with them...” James waved his hand, motioning for her to step back.

The group’s captain explained, “We’re Theognostos from the Halcyon Road.

We’ve been ordered to capture her.” “Theognostos from the Halcyon Road?” James was confused.

He thought Theognostos was a bluff he had made up.

While he was weak, he made a fake illusion of Theognostos to scare off other major races of the Dark

World.

He could not believe Theognostos was real and even appeared outside the Heavenly Court.

After a brief confusion, James replied, ‘Go back and tell your master that he’ll have to come in person

to capture her.” “You're seeking death, young man.” James stared at the man and learned he was at

the Transcendental Bliss Rank’s third stage.

Despite that, he was not a match for James.

“Do you need me to use violence?” James glared at him.

“You must have a death wish.” The man’s face darkened, and he suddenly took a step forward.

The surroundings began to tremble, and it seemed like the sky was about to fall.

He summoned a long sword and slashed at James with terrifying force.

The powerhouses standing behind James felt the powerful force and were immediately knocked away.

James stood firmly in place, and some mysterious inscriptions appeared on the surface of his body to

block the attack.

The attack struck the inscriptions, but James was unscathed.

“Obsidian Body?” The man exclaimed, then stepped away.

He immediately ordered, “Retreat!” The group surrounding the Heavenly Court quickly fled.

The Heavenly Court was about to face a crisis, but James easily resolved it.

Thea rushed over and asked worriedly, “Are you alright?” The other humans also approached.

James turned to them and said, “I’m fine.

Everyone should head back first.” “Okay.”
