CHAPTER 9

Engfa and Nudee arrived at the site visit. They both got out of the car, looked around.

" Wow ! This place is so beautiful, Ms C.A really tastes good "

Engfa just replied with a smile before looking around again. She admitted that this place was beautiful and very suitable for building the dream house that Charlotte wanted and that this woman was smart in choosing a good location. She must have done some research before buying this land.

A few minutes later, a Mercedes Benz EQE arrived next to their car. Engfa and Nudee turned their eyes towards the car, waiting for the owner to get out of the car.

Engfa's heart wanted to be ripped out when she saw Charlotte go out with a tall and handsome man. They both walked hand in hand towards them. Engfa could actually already guess who the man was, but she was not sure what the real status was between Charlotte and the man.

" Woahh.... Ms C.A is also has good taste in this too, right Faa ? "

Engfa didn't answer, instead just looked at Charlotte and her partner appeared in front of them.

" Hey guys, sorry we're late "

Charlotte said with a sweet smile

" It's okay Ms C.A, we just got here too "

Nudee answered, Engfa just kept quiet. She tried to control all her emotions, pretending like nothing happened here.

" Oh by the way, this is Mew Suppasit, my fiancé and babe, this is Engfa Waraha, CEO of War Properties Sdn Bhd and this is Nudee, Engfa's secretary "

Finally, Engfa's question was answered. Her knees almost went weak from frustration. She knew Charlotte had changed. Her ex-lover has really moved on and forgotten about her. She took a deep breath, trying to accept the fact that it was all over. She come to her senses for a moment when Mew held out his hand to greet her.

" Hi Engfa, we finally meet, Charlotte talks a lot about you "

Engfa returned the greeting with a forced smile

" Hi, nice to meet you too Mew "

Charlotte observed the look on Engfa's face which looked a little uncomfortable with Mew's presence there. She knew she should have told Engfa first but this happened at the last minute. At first, she plans to go alone but when she wants to go there, Mew suddenly comes to her office to ask her out for lunch. Charlotte who didn't know how to refuse the invitation finally had to give in and take Mew to meet Engfa as well.

" Oh my god babe, I didn't think you were so good at choosing a location, this location is really beautiful "

Said Mew who suddenly broke the silence. He quickly pulled Charlotte's hand gently and said again.

" Babe, I think your house is more beautiful if we put it on the right side. Plus, besides waking up in the morning to see your beautiful face, I can also see the view from our room, right ? "

The words that came out of Mew's mouth made Charlotte just chuckle. While Engfa and Nudee behind, just watched their behavior. To be honest, Engfa was really sick seeing the intimacy between the two of them. She sighed heavily, her head was also suddenly throbbing and she wasn't sure if the cause of the pain was because of Charlotte and Mew's intimacy or because the weather was getting hotter.

Nudee, next to her began to notice her boss's silent and questioned her.

" Engfa, are you okay ? You don't look well "

" No, I'm fine, it's just that my head is starting to get a little dizzy. Maybe the weather is really hot "

" Is your migraine coming again ? "

" Hmm maybe but it's okay, I'm fine "

Not wanting to waste time, Engfa continued walking towards Charlotte and Mew, leaving Nudee who didn't have time to ask more.

" So how ? Are there any changes you'd like to make ? "

Engfa asked, trying to be professional. Charlotte and Mew looked at each other before speaking.

" Well, Mew and I have decided that we want the position of this house to face at the right since the right side looks more prettier. What do you think Engfa ? "

Engfa was silent for a moment before agreeing.

" Okay, if that's what you want, I agree. After all, your master's room will be on the top floor, so it would be perfect if we could make a room facing this view "

" Oh Engfa, if possible, I want you to save some space for a mini garden, is that okay ? Charlotte really likes the flowers, so I think a mini garden must have too, right ? "

Mew said, suddenly giving such an idea made Charlotte a little surprised and felt touched because the man was always thinking about her. She just agreed, her body being hugged tightly by the man while giving her a soft kiss on the cheek.

" Wow, Mr Mew is really romantic, it seems that Mr Mew really loves Ms C.A "

Nudes who didn't know the real story, was only amazed by their relationship. Unknowingly, those words added to Engfa's disappointment, making it even more painful to hold back the emotions that had been simmering ever since.

" By the way, sorry to ask, have Ms C.A and Mr Mew been together for a long time ? "

Nudee suddenly wanted to know, causing Engfa to quickly rebuke her actions. Charlotte and Mew just chuckled before Mew quickly answered

" Hmm, it's been almost 4 years and we just got engaged 2 months ago "

" Oh my god, congratulations you two, so when are you planning to get married ? "

Nudee continued to make Engfa more and more uncomfortable there. Engfa knew she couldn't blame her secretary for being too busy body of their client's personal matters because it was her fault too who still couldn't get over from Charlotte.

" According to our plans, we'll get married next year, but if this house can be finished earlier, maybe this year, right babe ? "

Mew replied confidently while looking at Charlotte who only smiled slightly and nodding her head. And she knows that Engfa also didn't want to know either. But for Charlotte, she didn't want Engfa to think that Mew's presence here was intented to keep hurting her.

Before she could answer, Engfa whispered something in her secretary's ear. Nudee just nodded then Engfa turned her gaze towards her and Mew.

" Sorry Charlotte, Mew. You two look around first okay, if there is any change, you can tell Nudee. I want excuse myself for a moment "

Engfa continued walking towards the car and this made Charlotte feel even more guilty. She knows Engfa was not being herself today but what she had to do. This house would also be inhabited by Mew and this house would be their home so Mew must be involved in all the processes of this house. It's just that she's a little disappointed with Mew's overtly obvious behaviour about their relationship.
