" Oh my god ! Are you serious Engfa ? Congratulations. You finally found someone in your life "

Nudee said happily as she, Chompu and Apo got up from their seats while hugging Engfa tightly. The three of them didn't expect that Engfa would finally meet Charlotte again after five years of waiting for her lover to come back to her. The three of them were actually amazed by Engfa's loyalty who still didn't give up waiting for Charlotte. Luckily, her efforts were worth it.

" That's right, we've been waiting for a long time. Finally you're not single anymore. Congratulations Engfa. I'm so happy for you "

Chompu also said. Before this, she was one of the people who never stopped forcing Engfa to find someone in her life.

" Hmm so I hope after Charlotte becomes your lover, she won't be jealous of me anymore "

Apo teased until the four of them burst into laughter. Engfa looked at her three friends, feeling moved because all of them never stopped encouraging her. Without them, she wasn't sure how she would continue her life as usual. And that's why she decided to tell them about her relationship with Charlotte since they were all going out for lunch together today so Engfa took this opportunity to expose it.

" I should thank you all. You have given me so much support. Without you guys, I don't know what my life would be like "

Engfa's words made Nudee, Chompu and Apo feel teary. They approached Engfa

" We should thank to you, Engfa. Thank you for being a good boss and a good friend to the three of us. You are the best "

" Aww you made me want to cry "

Engfa almost shed tears, they then hugged each other again before each broke their hug

" Alright, let's continue the story about you and Charlotte, so since you two are official, are you planning on taking her on a first date ? "

Nudee asked followed by Chompu and Apo who were both excited to find out. Engfa was silent for a moment. She had planned to ask Charlotte out for their first date to celebrate their relationship that getting back on track but there were so many plans in her mind that she didn't know which one she wanted.

Engfa also wanted to make sure their first date could be a special memory for them and that's why she wanted this first date to be planned perfectly so that Charlotte would be satisfied with her efforts. And suddenly an idea came to her mind, she smiled to herself, can't wait to see Charlotte's reaction.

Apo, Nudee and Chompu were still waiting for her answer.

" Yes I did. Hmm I think I have an idea for our first date but let's keep it a secret for now "

Said Engfa who didn't want to reveal it making the three of them respond with dissatisfaction.

" Hmm come on Engfa ! you should share it with us too. We want to know "

Said Chompu who was still curious, supported by Apo and Nudee

" I don't want to because you might tell Tina and Heidi "

" Hey no no ! We promised to keep it a secret. Please Engfa..."

Engfa just ignored her friends' words and immediately got up and left the cafe.

" Hey Engfa ! where are you going ? You still haven't paid for this food !? Engfa wait ! "

Apo shouted to Engfa as he tried to chase her.

" You pay ! That's your punishment for being busy with people's personal matters "

Said Engfa but before Apo could chase her, Apo's hand was pulled hard by Nudee and Chompu

" Hey Apo ! Where are you going ? Are you also going to run away like Engfa huh ? Now you're the one paying because you're the only one who hasn't finished your food "

Nudee said while Chompu next to her laughed loudly

" Huh why me ? Didn't Engfa say she wanted to pay ? "

Apo asked, was still not satisfied

" How can Engfa pay if she's already gone like that, today you're the one paying for all this food "

Apo froze, being played by the two of them. Damn, he really wanted to knock them both on the head.

" What Apo ?! Quickly finish your food, lunch time is almost over ! "

Nudee replied firmly but her laughter was audible. Chompu just held back her laughter, unable to bear to look at Apo who was being bullied like that.

" Oh my god, I hate you two! Okay, I will pay for all of this ! "

Nudee and Chompu finally cheered with joy until they clapped their hands for successfully getting Apo for lunch today.

While busy finishing her work, Charlotte's mind started to think about Engfa. After lunch, Engfa called her to tell her that she wanted to ask her out tonight for their first date. She said that she had planned and made all the preparations for their first date tonight. This immediately made Charlotte feel impatient to know what her lover had planned.

Charlotte smiled to herself, still not believing that Engfa was hers now, she felt like she was dreaming. She didn't think that she still loved Engfa and most surprisingly, she didn't think that Engfa was still faithfully waiting for her even after five years had passed. She vowed not to hurt the woman again, she wanted to make Engfa the happiest person in the world. That was her promise.

Charlotte's heart was beating fast, waiting for Engfa to be at her house. Tonight was a special night for the two of them. Although they often spent time together, this time was very different for them because this time they would go out as a couple.

Charlotte had just finished putting on lipstick when she heard the doorbell ring. She smiled when she knew Engfa was here. Then she quickly opened the door of her house because she didn't want the woman to have to wait for her outside for a long time. When she opened the door, she saw Engfa holding a bouquet of flowers, her favorite flower "Sunflowers"

" Hi Charlotte, this is for you "

Engfa looked up and met Charlotte's eyes, her cheeks turned red. She then gave the bouquet. Charlotte laughed a little and shook her head while smiling at Engfa.

" Thank you "

" You are very beautiful tonight, I like your dress "

Said Engfa who couldn't take her eyes off Charlotte who looked elegant in a soft yellow dress.

" Thank you, same to you. I really like your outfit "

Charlotte complimented Engfa. For Charlotte, the woman's appearance never disappointed her.

" Let's go ? "

Engfa asked as she extended her hand which Charlotte happily accepted. Engfa led her to the passenger seat and opened the door for her.

" Where are you taking me ? "

Charlotte wanted to know as she put the bouquet in the back of the car.

" That's a secret "

Engfa winked

" Ready ? "

Engfa asked again as she fastened her seat belt like Charlotte did. Charlotte just nodded. Then they continued on their journey. After almost 35 minutes of driving, they finally arrived.

" Okay, we're here "

Engfa said, she got out of the car and opened the door for Charlotte. Charlotte got out, she stared at the place and was still confused about where Engfa was taking her. She looked at Engfa with a question written on her face.

Engfa knew Charlotte must be wondering why she was brought here.

" I thought we were going to have dinner at a five-star restaurant "

Charlotte sighed, still with her confused face. She looked at the place, there was a large bungalow with a beautiful view filled with green plants and flowers around it but the house seemed to have no occupants inside. She wondered whose house was in front of her.

" Hmm what are we doing here ? "

Engfa just smiled before pulling Charlotte's hand and walking towards the house.

" Come on, let's go inside. I still have a surprise for you on the rooftop "

Engfa said then pulled her back. They entered the house and Charlotte was surprised by the interior of the house. She looked around then she realized, all this interior and design was like her dream house. She then looked at Engfa again.

" Do you like it ? "

Ask Engfa with a sweet smile on her lips.

" I like it but whose house is this ? Why is this house like my dream house, Engfa ? "

Engfa just ignored the question, she walked to Charlotte and hugged her tightly. Charlotte melted in her arms. Just as she was about to hug, Engfa pulled her again.

" Come on up, you'll like it more "

She said then they both ran up the stairs.

" Be careful, you might trip "

Engfa grinned again, guiding Charlotte up the stairs.

" But you pulled me and you were the one running "

Engfa laughed. They finally stepped on the door at the end of the second floor hallway.

" Are you ready ? "

She asked and Charlotte nodded. Engfa then opened it.

" Ta Daaaa "

Engfa cheered as she looked at Charlotte who was surprised to see the view of the entire New York city so beautiful with the orange lights illuminating the city. The view of the entire city was amazing.

Charlotte noticed a table in the middle of the roof, a round table and candles around it, there were also two steaks with white wine on the table. Engfa pulled a seat for her.

" How ? do you like it ? "

Engfa asked, Charlotte smiled before nodding.

" You know, two years ago, this place was just an abandoned place but because the view here is so beautiful so I decided to buy this lot and build a house "

Engfa suddenly opened up about this house while looking at Charlotte.

" I built this house in the hope that if one day you decide to come back to me again, I want to give you this as a gift "

Engfa said again as she struggled to continue when her voice trembled. She cleared her throat and continued

" Even though what I hope for may not come true, I will always wait for you to come back. Even we are no longer dating, I still want to give this house to you "

Charlotte was shocked and froze when she heard it. She couldn't believe what she was hearing. Engfa continued.

" Do you remember, when we were together, I once promised you, if one day I became a successful contractor, I would gift you the dream house you wanted "

Engfa then took something out of her pocket and grabbed Charlotte's hand, she placed it on her palm. It was the house key.

" Charlotte, I know you're now building your dream home, but please let me keep my promise. This house is now yours completely. This is your dream home, Charlotte. This is for you "

Charlotte was silent, not knowing what to say. She was still shocked and frozen, not knowing how to respond to everything Engfa had said. She didn't think Engfa would still want to keep her promise from before. All this had never crossed her mind and she had never asked Engfa to keep her promise even though they had broken up. Tears streamed down her cheeks. Engfa stood up, wiped her tears before kissing her forehead.

" Thank you..... Engfa but I never asked you to fulfill all your promises. You don't have to do this. I didn't ask for any of this. That's enough, I only have you "

Charlotte said then grabbed Engfa's hand and squeezed it.

" I know and I hope you like it "

" Of course I do.... Thank you, I love you so much Engfa Waraha "

" I love you too, Charlotte Austin "

Engfa sat down again and they ate together. After eating, they stood and stared at the city. Engfa hugged Charlotte's waist and said.

" Enjoying the view ? "

Charlotte leaned her head on Engfa's shoulder like she always did when Engfa hugged her from behind.

" Beautiful, this view is amazing "

Charlotte said still looking at the city.

" I agree... that beauty cannot be compared to others "

Engfa whispered but Charlotte knew Engfa wasn't talking about the city

" Hmm I know what are you talking about "

Charlotte said while nudging Engfa. Engfa chuckled

" Well, it is true you're still the most beautiful. They can argue with dinosaurs if anyone disagrees with me but you are the most beautiful "

Engfa said as she sniffed Charlotte's hair.

" Hmm but they are extinct "

" Right, no one can disagree "

Charlotte chuckled at Engfa's joke before suddenly asking her

" Engfa, can I call you Babe like I used to ? "

Engfa just smiled and nodded, she said

" You call me whatever you like as long as you want. And promise me that you won't leave me again okay ? "

" I won't and I will always be here, by your side "

They smiled at each other before Charlotte hugged Engfa tightly, afraid she would disappear if she let go again.
