CHAPTER 7

The hot weather at the construction site made Engfa quickly run into the car after conducting an inspection there. The safety helmet on her head was immediately removed, as was her jacket. She took the mineral water next to the passenger seat and sipped half of the bottle as her eyes scanned the building still under construction.

Even though she is the CEO of her company, every project that is being carried out always needs to be monitored by her especially when it is a big project. Most of the employees are very jealous of her. This is not because she is a boss but it is because she is still able to maintain a graceful, charming and stylish appearance even though she is always involved in the construction site.

She admits that she always taking care of her image. She didn't want this job to leave her with no time to look after herself. All of that does not need an excuse, if you work diligently, everything is definitely possible. That verse is what always inspires her to be who her is today.

The ringing of the phone suddenly interrupted her gaze towards the construction site as she looked at her phone screen. Her eyebrows rose when she saw the caller. The number that displayed on the screen is not saved in her contacts.

Her phone was still ringing waiting for her to pick up the call. After thinking for a long time, she finally answered the call. Usually she didn't care about unknown callers but this time, her heart wanted to. Apparently the caller was actually Charlotte Austin.

" Hello ? "

Engfa asked, wanting to know who the caller was.

" Umm Hi Engfa, this is Charlotte "

Engfa's heart beat faster after knowing the caller. She was still so shocked that she couldn't say anything. Charlotte felt that Engfa did not give any response, said again.

" Sorry Engfa, I actually asked for your number from Nudee. I know you already emailed the new house plan but I think I'd rather call you, is that okay ? "

Four days ago, after completing the new house plan, Engfa asks Nudee to deal with Charlotte because she doesn't want to be more than that plus after finding out Charlotte already has someone, she decided to set the border.

" Oh, it's okay Charlotte, why are you calling anyway ? Is there a problem with the plan ? "

Engfa asked softly making Charlotte also feel nervous when she heard the voice.

" Uh, no, no. Actually, I'm calling you this because I want to discuss about the site visit, then I want you to explain more detail about the new plan. Can you ? "

Charlotte explained again.

" Oh okay, so when do you want to meet ? "

" Hmm, if you're free today, we can meet at 3 PM "

Engfa was silent for a moment. She wasn't sure what to answer, considering she was only dressed casually plus her body was still sweaty.

" Hmm okay but I'm from a construction site, so my clothes are a bit informal, are you okay with that ? "

" Yes, of course I'm okay, but are you okay ? If you want to change another day, that's fine, I can set another date if you're not comfortable with your clothes "

" It's okay Charlotte. We'll meet at 3 PM, but can we meet outside ? I'm not stopping by the office today "

" Okay sure ! I'll give you the location. See you later, Bye Engfa "

The call was disconnected there. Engfa grinned to herself still looking at the caller's number. She quickly pressed "save" and put the caller's name as CHARLOTTE AUSTIN. Her heart suddenly blossomed, impatiently to meet the woman and the fatigue faced also just disappeared. Realizing that time was running out, she continued to accelerate her car.
