Chapter 206: New Clothes

From what she knew, Fang Xinxin’s relationship with her family members was extremely poor. Mother Fang was always upset with Fang Xinxin for having the worst grades in her class. She would never buy her something so expensive.

Fang Xinxin was too lazy to lie to them. “Bai Qinghao bought them for me.”

Weng Jingke looked fascinated. “Bai Qinghao bought it for you? That can’t be. He is Manxue’s fiancée. You are his future sister-in-law. It doesn’t seem suitable for him to buy you clothes.”

“He is my...” Fang Xinxin had only said three words when Fang Manxue cut her off. “There’s nothing unsuitable about it. I was the one who asked Bai Qinghao to buy some clothes for Xinxin!”

She shot a look at Fang Xinxin. She was clearly asking Fang Xinxin not to tear down her stage.

Fang Xinxin touched her chin. Since her second sister was so shameless, she would allow her to continue having fun. This way, the consequences would only become bigger!

“Is Miss Fang at home?” At this moment, a man in his thirties stepped in. He had a square-jawline and was dressed in a black suit with a matching tie. His face was expressionless and he seemed to be a deadpan type of man.

When Fang Manxue saw him, she immediately rushed over. “Butler Zhao, it’s been a long time!”

Weng Jingke and Lou Yuna also followed behind her. They asked her curiously. “Who is he?”

“Good day. I am Young Master Bai Qinghao’s butler, Zhao Cheng. I take care of the Yu Ting Villa.” Zhao Cheng introduced himself with the same flat expression.

“So you’re the Yu Ting Villa’s butler!” Weng Jingke lifted her hand up to shake his hand. “Hello, I’m honoured to meet you. I’m Manxue’s classmate, Weng Jingke.”

Zhao Cheng had no intention of shaking her hand. Jingke could only awkwardly retract her hand. Fang Manxue gave her a look as though she was being shameless.

“Butler Zhao, why didn’t I see you the last time I visited the Yu Ting Villa?” Fang Manxue appeared to be very familiar with Zhao Cheng. This caused Weng Jingke and Lou Yuna to feel envious.

“I was arranged by the Young Master to work in the Bai family’s mansion for a while.” Zhao Cheng responded politely to Fang Manxue’s question. After a moment, he said, “Young Master bought a lot of clothes and shoes for Miss Fang. Where is Miss Fang’s room? I’ll arrange for the things to be moved in.”

He gestured toward the side and several men brought what seemed like an endless stream of boxes from a truck parked outside, into the house.

Wang Jingke counted them. “There are ten large boxes. Fang Manxue, Bai Qinghao sure dotes on you!”

Before Fang Manxue could put on a pleased expression, Zhao Cheng had already responded to Weng Jingke coldly. “My Young Master, Bai Qinghao, bought these clothes for the Third Fang Lady.”

“Third Fang Lady... Isn’t that Fang Xinxin?” Weng Jingke was confused. “Butler Zhao, did you make a mistake?”

Zhao Cheng responded with certainty. “There are no mistakes. These clothes were bought for Miss Fang Xinxin.”

“Are they cheap?” Weng Jingke felt that perhaps, Bai Qinghao had found some economical goods to show some kindness to this fat woman.

“Around twenty to thirty million dollars or so.”

“So expensive!” Weng Jingke was dumbstruck.

Lou Yuna also exclaimed. “My god! Manxue, Bai Qinghao actually bought so much clothes for your third sister. And such expensive ones. Could it be that they...”

Fang Manxue immediately covered Lou Yuna’s mouth in embarrassment. “Don’t speak nonsense in front of Butler Zhao.”

If Zhao Cheng responded to them and revealed that Fang Xinxin was actually Bai Qinghao’s fiancée, everything would be over!

She grabbed their hands and forcefully tugged them in the direction of her own room. “Come on, I’ll show the two of you something good...”

No matter how unwilling the two girls were, they were still dragged away.

Back in the yard, Fang Xinxin furrowed her brows in response to Zhao Cheng’s words. “Bai Qinghao really spent too much.”
