Chapter 219: Highest Tier Membership

Lou Yuna glared at Fang Xinxin and asked her. “Why aren’t you leaving? Are you hoping that Manxue would purchase the membership for you? Don’t go overboard in taking advantage of her!”

Weng Jingke linked her arms with Fang Manxue, appearing as though they were bosom buddies. “Manxue, you can’t always be the good person, doting on your sister all the time. You’ll end up spoiling her. You shouldn’t indulge her like this.”

Fang Manxue obviously would not buy the membership for her, but she acted embarrassed and said, “Third sister, as you can see, my two good friends won’t allow me to purchase the membership for you. There’s nothing I can do about it.”

The edge of Fang Xinxin lips curled up sarcastically. “Second sister has never spoiled me. Moreover, she has never given me a single cent. Don’t pretend to be a generous person.”

“You..” Weng Jingke got annoyed.

Fang Manxue was worried that Fang Xinxin would reveal her identity as Bai Qinghao’s actual fiancée. She stopped Weng Jingke from speaking further. “It’s fine.”

Fang Xinxin scoffed and rolled her eyes. “I can’t be bothered to deal with you.” She turned to the receptionist and said crisply, “Help me sign up for a membership.”

She handed her identity card over to her.

The female salesperson pointed to the price list and asked her. “Pardon me, but which membership tier would you like to sign up for?”

Lou Yuna said sarcastically, “Ma’am, why are you bothering to ask Fang Xinxin? She’s a peasant. She has to beg her sister, Fang Manxue, even for clothes. Of course, she can only get the lowest level of membership.”

As long as one was interested in being a member of the gym, the receptionist would be polite to the person. She read the name on the credentials and said, “Miss Fang Xinxin, please make your choice. No matter which tier you choose, you’ll still be a distinguished member of the gym.”

“Hmph!” Lou Yuna snorted.

“I already said she is poor, and yet you’re still being polite! Don’t be surprised when she doesn’t have the money to settle the bill.”

“I doubt that would happen...” She would worry later if Fang Xinxin really could not afford it. It was their policy to prevent any potential members from slipping away.

Fang Xinxin scanned the row of prices. She looked at the highest price and said, “The highest supreme tier will do.”

“Okay...” The female salesperson answered politely before her eyes grew wide and she stammered. “W-what?!”

Several other guests standing nearby were stunned as well. Someone shouted in surprise. “The supreme tier would cost you a hundred and fifty thousand dollars a year!”

“Ever since this club opened up, there hasn’t been a supreme member. She is the first!” Several fitness coaches approached her.

Lou Yuna, Weng Jingke and Fang Manxue were shocked. Their mouths opened so wide that one could shove a goose egg in each one of them.

Lou Yuna quickly returned to her senses. “Fang Xinxin, don’t pretend to be rich when you’re not.”

“Only you idiots would believe her.” Weng Jingke put on a mocking expression. “If she can really afford it, I’ll broadcast myself live eating shit!”

Fang Xinxin sneered coldly. “I’ll hold you to your word, Miss Weng. Don’t go back on it later.”

“Hmph, why would I go back on my promise? What about you, what will you do if you can’t pay...” Before Weng Jingke could finish, Fang Xinxin handed a card over to the receptionist. “Payment by card.”

The receptionist entered a number on the terminal, and handed it to her for her pin number. “Miss Fang Xinxin, I have to reconfirm with you. The supreme membership costs a hundred and fifty thousand dollars!”

Fang Xinxin realised that a large crowd of people were watching her. She hid the terminal to prevent them from seeing the number pad and quickly entered the pin.
