Fang Xinxin could not be bothered to listen to her nonsense any longer. She stood up and headed for the second floor.

Earlier, she had worked out in the gym for three hours and was covered in sweat. Her body felt very sticky and she wanted to take a shower desperately.

“Mom, stop asking.” Fang Manxue understood the fatty’s attitude. “That dumb trash has no intentions of answering you anyway!”

“This is all because you are useless!” Fang Lilan jabbed her finger against her forehead and reprimanded her. “If you had succeeded in seducing Bai Qinghao, would I have to suffer that wench’s arrogance?”

Fang Manxue was similarly frustrated. “Stop blaming me! Aren’t you similarly helpless against her? You were clearly scheming against her, yet you returned with a ‘gift’ of red wine. Does your hand still hurt from that injury?”

“It’s mostly healed.” Fang Lilan finally calmed down a little. But her expression was dark. “My daughter, that fat wench used to be easy to control. Unfortunately, it isn’t easy to deal with her now.”

“Hmph.” Fang Manxue sneered. “Isn’t that because she is taking advantage of Bai Qinghao’s support? Once she leaves Bai Qinghao, she won’t have anything!”

“That is why, you must snatch Bai Qinghao from her.” At the thought of becoming Bai Qinghao’s mother-in-law, Fang Lilan was extremely excited. She could only think of the glory and honor she would receive.

“Still, you can’t lower your guard.” Fang Lilan instructed her. “From tomorrow onwards, you have to go to school everyday. Take your lessons and revise diligently. Put everything else aside. It’s important that you do better than Fang Xinxin.”
