“That’s true,” Fang Xinxin responded naively.

She glanced towards the kitchen and saw that Fang Shaohua’s back view was stiff.

She struggled to imagine her brother’s expression. She was certain that he was heartbroken.

“Your voice doesn’t sound right? Are you feeling unwell? I can wash the plates instead.” Fang Xinxin stood up from Bai Qinghao’s lap. She had only taken a step when he tugged her back. “You’re not allowed to go. Why does my fiancée have to wash dishes? Arrange for a helper to do these chores!”

Fang Shaohua washed his face with some cold water and composed his emotions before returning to the living room. “There’s no need to trouble CEO Bai. There’ll be a helper coming tomorrow morning to take care of these.”

Bai Qinghao saw that his emotions were barely under control. He sneered coldly.

Since Xinxin was unaware of Fang Shaohua’s feelings, he would not bring it up.
