Chapter 459: Medicine

Bai Qinghao scanned the hotel room. Although the room quality wasn’t poor for most people, he was used to residing in the presidential suites whenever he visited hotels.

Normally, he would not even have stepped into a hotel like the Dan Feng Bai Lu Hotel.

Yesterday was a special occasion.

Although he wanted to spend more ‘alone’ time with Fang Xinxin, he decided it was best for them to continue ‘interacting’ back at the Yu Ting Villa.

Fang Xinxin also felt that there was no point in staying in this hotel any longer. She stood up to leave.

However, she immediately staggered and nearly fell on the ground.

Bai Qinghao’s eyes were sharp. He quickly caught her in his arms before she could touch the ground. “You’re so useless!”

He was really worried.

“Hmph!” Fang Xinxin smacked her fist against his chest in protest to his complaint. “Wasn’t it all your fault for going out of control like a beast?”

He was helpless.

She was far too attractive in his eyes. Furthermore, he had also been affected by the aphrodisiac last night.

Bai Qinghao did not waste any more time. He lifted her into a bridal carry and stepped out of the hotel room.

“Wait, my laptop...” She was dressed in the clean clothes which the butler had delivered earlier.

Her clothes from last night had been completely torn up by Ba Qinghao and could no longer be used. However, the laptop contained a lot of important documents related to her new company. She needed to take it with her.

“The butler will come by to clean up the room.”

“Oh.” She set her heart at ease at his words.

Bai Qinghao carried her into the elevator. On their way, they did not come across anyone.

However, as they made their way through Dan Feng Bai Lu Hotel’s lounge, several customers were in the middle of checking in. They watched the couple in confusion.

“That seems to be Bai Qinghao?” One of them recognised him.

“He was actually carrying a woman! She seemed to be really beautiful. He walked so quickly, I couldn’t tell who she was...”

An SUV had been waiting for them outside the hotel.

A bodyguard was surprised to see the commander holding a woman. However, he still opened the car door expressionlessly.

Fang Xinxin not only found this embarrassing but was also exhausted. Thus, she kept her face pressed against Bai Qinghao’s chest during the entire car ride.

Even the chauffeur failed to get a clear look of her expression.

As Bai Qinghao carried Fang Xinxin across the front yard and into the living room, the bodyguards and maids were all dumbstruck.

Their boss, who usually steered clear of women, actually carried someone who wasn’t Fang Xinxin e. Was the sun about to rise from the west?

Everyone wanted to get a proper look at her appearance. Although only half of her face was exposed, they could tell that she was stunningly gorgeous!

They wondered how beautiful she would be when she revealed her proper appearance? No one thought that she could be Fang Xinxin, that ugly woman.

Bai Qinghao placed Fang Xinxin down on the Yu Ting Villa’s luxuriously enormous bed. Fang Xinxin was exhausted to the point where her body was nearly paralysed. She quickly fell asleep.

Sometime later, she dazedly felt a cooling sensation against her skin.

The soreness in her body had faded significantly.

She opened her eyes drowsily to see that Bai Qinghao was actually applying medication on her.

He held an exquisitely crafted container in his hand. It seemed to contain a transparent medicinal lotion.

“Are you awake?” The man’s cold voice was slightly husky.

He had unbuttoned her clothes to apply the medication.

The sight of her truly stirred his desires.

“Are you applying medicine on me?” Her tone was certain.

She then yawned lazily.

“This was prepared by Doctor Shi. The effects are very good. Your body will recover by tomorrow.”

She became completely awake. “You asked Doctor Shi for this sort of medicine? Is that appropriate?” How embarrassing.

“What’s inappropriate about it? He is a doctor.”

“That’s true.”
