She slapped his hand away and glared at him in anger. “What are you up to?” Was he trying to take advantage of her?

However, he did not admit to this. “I didn’t stand properly. I was trying to stabilise myself.”

After taking his seat, Jiang Xingnan glanced at the medicine on her face. Although he could not make out her full appearance, he judged through her sparkling eyes that she seemed to be radiant with joy.

He whispered with some jealousy. “Fang Xinxin, you’re not even married and you spent seven to eight days at the Yu Ting Villa. Don’t you find your behaviour to be shameless?”

“It’s none of your business.”

“How is this none of my business?” Jiang Xingnan clenched his fist tightly in his pocket.

Fang Xinxin knew through her previous lifetime that Jiang Xingnan and Bai Qinghao were distant relatives. “If you’re unhappy with me being at the Yu Ting Villa, go ahead and tell Bai Qinghao yourself.”

“Bai Qinghao isn’t suited for you!” He warned her with a poor expression.

She found this amusing. “In that case, who is suited for me?”

“The role of the Bai family’s mistress really isn’t something that you can shoulder.” Jiang Xingnan watched her with an expression of arrogance.

He spoke softly so that no one could overhear them. “If you’re willing to leave Bai Qinghao, considering how pitiful you are, this young master doesn’t mind keeping you.”

“If you’re mentally ill, please go see a doctor.” Fang Xinxin harrumphed coldly. “Don’t tell me you didn’t read Bai Qinghao’s post about how he has struggled to pursue me?”

“That post is only about him.” Jiang Xingnan narrowed his eyes. “There’s also the Bai family behind him. Once you enter the Bai family, you’ll understand that the role of Madam Bai is extremely difficult to handle. You’ll constantly be targeted by others!”
