Chapter 537: Fang… Xinxin

Everyone looked outside the window and discovered that there were reporters armed with cameras guarding right outside the room.

Sun Jiamu raised her voice in anger. “Fang Manxue, you’re too much! Did you have to inform the reporters about your agreement with Xinxin?”

“Fang Xinxin is an extremely poor student. Although her grades are terrible, she is still Bai Qinghao’s fiancée.” Fang Manxue harrumphed coldly. “She is supposed to kneel to me in front of Bai Qinghao. With Bai Qinghao’s power and status... if he tries to interfere and to stop her from kneeling... that is why I invited the media to act as my witness. This way, she won’t be able to escape from fulfilling her agreement!”

If this had been in the past, she wouldn’t have invited the reporters so openly. But right now...

Ever since her video with Bai Chenxi was exposed, she had completely severed ties with the position of Madam Bai. She was no longer bothered about doing things so openly.

As of now, her only goal was to thoroughly ruin Fang Xinxin!

“It’s fine, Jiamu.” Fang Xinxin smiled at her good friend. “There’s no way to run away from it if I’ve really lost. Let Fang Manxue do as she pleases.”

It was good that the reporters were here. As of now, it wasn’t certain who the unlucky one was.

“Alright, quieten down everybody!” Headmaster Ma’s expression was stern. “Right now, I’ll announce the first place. It’s Fang... cough, cough!”

The headmaster suddenly fell into a coughing fit and could not continue his words.

When Fang Manxue heard the surname, she immediately smiled arrogantly and shot Fang Xinxin a look of disdain.

All the students in class also felt that the results were fixed. They all shot looks of sympathy at Fang Xinxin.

After all, Fang Xinxin wasn’t the only person losing face. If the future Madam Bai knelt down to someone else, the entire Bai family’s face would be thrown away.

Even Jiang Xingnan could not control the urge to send Fang Xinxin a message:

The examinations had concluded and everyone had returned to their original seats.

Jiang Xingnan was seated right by Fang Xinxin’s side.

Fang Xinxin lowered her head to read the message and turned to look at Jiang Xingnan.

His head was lowered as though this matter was completely unrelated to him.

Wu Jiatong openly flattered Fang Manxue. “Regardless of how Fang Manxue has fallen from grace, she is still one of Jing Hua University’s top performing students. Competing with her is akin to asking for death. Fang Xinxin, you better kneel down properly later.”

She had past conflicts with Fang Xinxin and dearly wished that the latter would die.

Fang Manxue lifted her chin. “No matter what happens, I’ll always have the ability to crush Fang Xinxin beneath my feet!”

“Cough... I have a bit of a flu.” Ma Yongting cleared his throat and raised his voice again. “I’ll continue. The first place belongs to Fang Xinxin!”

“What?” Fang Manxue’s arrogant smile froze. “How could that be? There’s no way this could have happened!”

“Wow! It’s actually Fang Xinxin!” The students were dumbstruck.

They turned to Fang Xinxin in disbelief and saw that she appeared indifferent. They weren’t certain if she was too composed, or if she was similarly overwhelmed by her own results.

Even Jiang Xingnan shot Fang Xinxin with a look of surprise.

“My sister, you’re amazing.” Sun Jiamu gave Fang Xinxin a thumb-up.n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om

“Headmaster Ma, did you read wrongly?” After processing her shock, Fang Manxue returned to herself and demanded loudly. “I performed very well in this examination. It’s impossible that I don’t have a good score. Fang Xinxin is the worst performing student in the entire school. How could she achieve the first place?”
