“The process is supposed to take seven working days to complete. Should I urge them to prioritise this matter?”

“It’s been so many years. A few days won’t make any difference.” She needed to use this time to consider how she would deal with the Fang family if Fang Lilan truly was not her mother.

“Alright.” He pressed a kiss on her forehead lovingly and breathed in the scent of her shampoo. “Regardless of the result, I’ll always be by your side.”
