Due to Fang Shaohua’s difficult past, it was impossible for him to take the initiative. She was an intelligent girl. She would work hard to fight for the things she wanted.

Thus, Sun Jiamu decided that she would pursue Fang Shaohua.

Before Fang Shaohua knew it, it was midnight. He stood up from his seat and saw that Sun Jiamu was standing by the study room’s door. He frowned. “Why are you still here?”

“Uh…” She carelessly found an excuse. “I’m not done with that glass of water.”

She had placed it down mid-way.

Fang Shaohua’s expression was cold and indifferent as he spat out. “Scram!”

Sun Jiamu dug her ears and stared at him in disbelief. “Mr. Fang, what did you just say? It’s midnight right now. You’re asking a girl like me to leave at this hour?”

“Are you leaving or not?”

She harrumphed coldly. “No. I’m going to stay here tonight!”

Fang Shaohua lifted his brows and narrowed his eyes. “Don’t blame me then.”

She swallowed and stared at him with some fear. “You… what are you going to do?”

Could it be that he wanted to ‘eat her up’?

Although things were progressing rather quickly, since she had set her mind on him, she would accept it.

Fang Shaohua reached for the box of tissues on the table and approached Sun Jiamu. He wrapped two pieces of tissues around her wrist and began dragging her out.

Sun Jiamu was deeply hurt. “Fang Shaohua, what do you mean by this? You have to wrap my wrist in tissues before touching me. Do you find me dirty?”

She had grown up as a wealthy young lady. How could she possibly accept such a treatment?

She was extremely angry!

“You asked for this.” He forcefully dragged her towards the door and grabbed the fruit basket along his way to toss it out of the door.

He wanted to push her out. However, Sun Jiamu held onto the door, refusing to leave.

Fang Shaohua could only forcefully tug her hand away. There was no way she could compete with his strength and she could only watch as her fingers left the door one by one.

Sun Jiamu also became angry. She directly jumped into Fang Shaohua’s arms and wrapped her arms tightly around his neck. She hung on his body the way a koala would.

Fang Shaohua’s expression was extremely dark. “You stupid woman, you’re really shameless!”

“You dared to bully me! I won’t let you off!”

Fang Shaohua tugged on her with force and gritted his teeth angrily. “Get off!”

In contrast with his anger, Sun Jiamu suddenly laughed. “I refuse.”

Fang Shaohua was stifled with anger. This was his first time meeting such a shameless woman. He felt the urge to beat her up and toss her out.

However, she was Xinxin’s only friend. She was also visiting him out of good will.

Even if he did not wish to give her face, he should give Xinxin some face.

Additionally, he had never raised his hand against a woman. He could only ask angrily. “What exactly do you want?”

“It’s too late right now. It isn’t safe for me to go home. I want to stay here.” She blinked at him pitifully.

Normally, most men would soften their attitudes when a woman spoke to them this way.

But Fang Shaohua disliked women. Furthermore, his heart already belonged to someone. Thus, he did not feel anything besides distaste. “This isn’t appropriate.”

“If something happened to me on my way home…” Sun Jiamu softened her tone. “Won’t you feel guilty?”

Fang Shaohua was extremely uncomfortable with the way her soft body was pressing against his. He hardened his expression. “No.”

“How would you explain it to Xinxin then?” Sun Jiamu insisted. “If something happens to me, Xinxin will feel guilty!”

Xinxin was his weakness. Fang Shaohua rubbed his forehead helplessly and gave in. “Get off me. I’ll send you home.”
