13. Someone Familiar

Raina was standing outside the trial room from past one hour because our bride was choosing her dresses. Office was also tiring for her and on the top of that, the couple had to shop today onwards because Gaurav had to return tonight for some urgent work.

It was decided that the theme colour of the marriage will be pink but Raina was actually not a great fan of pink so she opted for the lightest shade of pink.

Gaurav and Akshit were sprawled on the sofa of the boutique, talking about God knows what. Here she was carrying heavy dresses and there they were gossiping.

She felt like crying, but took a breath of relief when finally Dia tried her 14th dress and came out from her cave...means changing room.

Dia asked twirling in front of her, "How am I looking?"

Raina smiled at her.

Boys turned their attention towards her . Akshit smiled showing her a thumbs up while Gaurav whispered with dreamy eyes, "Gorgeous!!"

She walked to a mirror and observed her dress.

She said still looking at the dress, "If it would have more embroidery then it will look more good. Won't it? "

Raina threw all the dresses on the table and said, "I swear... If you are gonna try anymore dress then I will run away and I will not come in your marriage also. Manage your wedding on your own."

She said skeptically ignoring her dramatic statement, "Is it good.?"

Akshit said coming towards them, "Good? It's beautiful just like you??"

Dia looked at Raina, Raina nodded her head in affirmation. Finally after two hours of hardwork , Dia's all round shopping was completed, from sarees to jewelleries means everything.

Akshit and Gaurav moved to other section for their dress. Bride's and groom's dresses were coordinated.

Dia dragged Raina for buying dress. One one side, Raina didn't have any traditional dress for the wedding but on the other hand she didn't want to buy one, but she had too.

She bought few kurtis, a yellow saree and a lehenga.

Akshit and Gaurav were also done with their shoppings so they drove to a restaurant for dinner.

They were having their lunch when Akshit announced, "Guys!! I got a contract from a music director for a concert." He said it like it was nothing important.

They all shouted in surprise, "WHAT!!??"

Akshit looked at them horrified, "What happened ? Why are you shouting??"

Dia said, "What happened? ? This is such a good news and you are saying what happened? Why didn't you tell it earlier?"

Raina said , "You know, he collaborated with the company in which I am working, and he didn't tell me anything.."

Akshit said cheerfully, "Oh God, that was surprise.."

Raina mimicked, "Of course, of course..A surprise."

Gaurav asked, "So when is your concert,?"

Akshit said, "Ahhh!! It is not finalised...but it should be within a month."

After that they went to airport to see off Gaurav, he will come a weak after for the marriage ceremony and then Akshit dropped Raina and Dia at their apartment.

He called, "Oh you both.. Listen. Pack everything and come to mension tomorrow."

Raina asked, "Why? "

Akshit said pinching her nose, "Because it is order from Dadu, their are so many preparation to do and only one week is left." He said mimicking his grandfather's tone.

Raina whacked his hand away and rubbed her nose to ease the pain.

She muttered, "Monkey.."

He looked at her, "Now. I am your boss. Start calling me sir."

She smiled sarcastically, "Boss..You are a client of my company, so no need to call you boss. You will be a monkey for lifetime."

"You!!", He tried to catch her hand but she already ran away from him.

Akshit shook his head at her antics and drove to his house.

Raina knocked on the cabin's door. After hearing a faint come in she walked inside. Rohan was working and files were scattered on his table.

He was completely occupied in his work even when it was lunch break but all these collaboration and relocating had brought a lot of work.

He asked, "Yes Raina.. What is it? "

She said placing the envelope on the desk, "Sir..actually I need two days leave."

He sighed looking at the white envelope laying on his table. Suddenly he said, "Raina. Go to Adhiraj's cabin...and we will discuss about this later."

She furrowed her eyebrows, "Why sir?"

Rohan said, "Raina , you will know when you will be there."

She nodded her head and exited his cabin. She huffed in annoyance but nonetheless she went to his cabin.

After taking permission, she entered to grace the mighty boss with her benevolent presence.

Some people were already present there.

Adhiraj called her, "Ms. Raina. Here you are. Meet our construction team from Hyderabad.." He motioned to the group.

He started introducing each member while pointing at them with his hand, "He is the engineer.. She is an interior designer and She is the head architect."

Last girl caught her attention, she was looking someone familiar but she was far away from her and her right profile was facing Raina.

Adhiraj said distracting her from the girl, "Ms. Raina, accompany them to the construction site of Mr. Nagar's factory. You made the presentation so it would be easy for you to guide our construction team."

Raina nodded her head and turned completely to the team and introduced herself, "Hello..I am Raina Kashyap."

She heard a sudden low squeal, "Oh my god ...you here?"

She looked up at the girl carefully and then recognised her, it was the same girl to whom she had given the lift.

Adya Singh Rathore. (24 years old)

Raina gave an awkward smile and said, "Hiii.. Umm.. Yes. I work here."

That girl said, "Ohh. That day I didn't get the time to ask your name.."

Raina said, "I am Raina."

That girl smiled, "Hiiii. I am Adya. And once again thankyou for your help. After you dropped me, weather got worse. Thank god I found you."

Raina said, "It's okey ma'am. Let's go guys , we are getting late for the work site."

She turned to Adhiraj who was already looking at her, she find it weird but shook it off and said, "Sir. We should go now. "

Adhiraj nodded his head. Other two took a cab while Adya came near Raina who was wearing her helmet and asked, "Raina. Can I get the privilege of riding with you again.??"

Raina nodded and smiled, "Sure ma'am."
