Chapter 31

Sam's P.O.V.

I heard someone calling my name in middle of the night which immediately woke me up. I looked at my left and saw Dušica shaking and calling my name in dream. She looked so weak and I didn't know what to do. Well, best thing would be to wake her up because it doesn't seem like it's really good dream.  I sat up on bed and gently shook her shoulders.

"Babe?" I called out for her but still nothing.

Her beautiful face was covered with sweat and even when I picked her up and bring her in bed before she looked very ill, and now she looks even worse. I become so worried so I shook her again.

"Babe, please wake up!" I pleaded and she slowly opened her eyes breathing hardly.

"Sam!" she breathed out and hugged me tightly.

"Shh, babe, it was just a dream." I said but I could feel hot liquid on my shoulder and I knew she was crying. Was she dreaming about that night again? "It is over now honey."

"I had a dream about all this time in Paris with you was fake." she said and I really did not expect to hear that!

But somehow that managed to make me smile. I pulled away and looked at her watery eyes.

"I am here baby girl, and I am not planning to leave any time soon."

"But it was so realistic. I suddenly woke up in my room on date when we left for Paris." she said all the time holding my hands tightly like her life depends on this. But seriously that dream sounds weird. I would freak out as well.

I brought her hands to my lips and kissed them gently.

"Everything is okay now, you don't have to worry about that. We should go back to sleep now babe." I said and she nodded.

She lay down and I immediately brought her closer to me. She buried her head in crock of my neck and breathed in deeply. She was so fragile at the moment and my heart was breaking. I kissed her temple and I swear she was burning. She needs to rest, her fever was so high already. I sighed and put cover over us. I just hope she will be better soon.

Sunlight  was falling on my face and that was the exact thing that woke me up next morning. Dušica was still sleeping peacefully and I didn't have any plans on waking her up. Well, not just yet at least.

She was so freaking beautiful while sleeping. I mean she was beautiful all the time but this is something on other level. The way her messy hair cover little pieces of her face makes her looks free just like she is.  She is literally flawless, perfect. Every little thing about her is perfect.

I wonder how lucky I am when I got girl like this. I mean, people would do everything to be around her, to got her attention. She could have anyone she wanted and she still choose me. If you are wondering why, I can't help you there because me, myself don't know why. Why would she ever choose someone like me?

I gently kissed her forehead and got up from bed. I will take quick shower and make her something to eat. I am not such a good cook as she is but I can try, jeez I would do anything for her. It was almost 2pm. already so I guess soup would be fine, right? I really hope so but I have to finish my business in the bathroom first.

I walked into bathroom and was mesmerized once again. This house literally leaves me speechless every time I walk in any of room.  I mean, sure I could have something like this and all, but I just enjoy in design and the fact she could come her alone or with her sister whenever she wants. I really hope my parents will allow me to move out soon. I want to live on my own and make my own decisions.

I finished shower quickly and when I walked out I found sleeping beauty, actually no, scratch that. I found sleeping goddess. Yes, that sounds better. I couldn't help but smile just by looking at her. Damn, I probably sound like some kind of a creep.

I shook my head and let towel that was covering my body down, leaving myself completely naked. I found pair of underwear and dress it up. My back was facing bed while I was kneeling down and looking what should I dress.

"Damn!" I heard somewhere behind me which made me jump.

When I turned around I saw Dušica sitting on bed and smirking at me.

"Babe, you scared me!" I said and pouted.

"Sorry, princess, that wasn't my intention." She said and looked me up and down not saying anything more. Her eyes were literally all over my body which made me blush.

"My eyes are up here, you know" I said and rolled my eyes but she only nodded.

"I know" she finally said and looked me straight in the eyes. And at that moment when our eyes met I could literally melt.

"That's my girl" I said and her smile grew even bigger. I walked towards her and sat on the edge of bed. "How do you feel?"

"Fine" she said and looked away.

Liar!  I know she is saying that just to make me less worried but that isn't helping at all.

"Come on, babe, don't lie to me." I said and she looked at me with pout.

"I am not." she said and I raised my eyebrow because I know she couldn't handle that. "Okay, fine! I am not feeling very well" she said and groaned. See? I knew she will say it.

"Let's just take warm bath first and then I wil-"

"Shit!" she said and jumped from bed running towards bathroom.

"What the?"I was so lost but when I walked in bathroom I found her vomiting. "Oh god" I said and run towards her to hold her hair.

"Go away" she said with pleading tone "Please! I don't want you to see me like this" she added and I needed to roll my eyes.

"I am not going anywhere." I said and kneeled down beside her.

When she was over she slowly got up and her legs were shaking so much I thought she is going to faint. I  guickly reached for her waist and pulled her closer to me.

"I am just going to take a shower." she said and I looked at her worriedly.

"Are you sure you can do it alone?"

"Well, to be honest I wouldn't mind your company at all" she said with that famous smirk of hers which made my heart skip a beat. But seriously, how can she think about that in this moment?

"You are such a pervert." I said with amused smile and she just giggled.

"It is not my fault you are standing only in your underwear in front of me." she said and that's when I realized she was right.

"Whatever" I said and helped her to walk out of bathroom.

She took some underwear and something she is going to dress up after and then I noticed her shirt on bed which I took.

"You don't have problem with me wearing this?" I asked and showed it to her and she shook her head with smile.

"No, I don't" she said and pecked my cheek before going to bathroom.

Damn, how much I love to wear her stuff! It smells exactly like her and I swear I am going to stole few of her shirts when we leave. Just thought about leaving made me sad. I feel so happy and complete here with her.

I know her mom is okay with us being together but what about her dad? She didn't mention anything about it whole this time. What if he is against it? I don't know what would I do. I couldn't left her now when I found the true meaning of happiness...

I sighed and walked downstairs to make something to eat for us. Just when I walked into kitchen my phone rang. Elena is calling on facetime so I just pick up and sat at counter.

"Bitch!" she yelled and my phone almost slipped away from my hands.

"Well, hello to you to El" I said ironically and rolled my eyes.

"How could you not tell me that you are in love with Dušica and even more that you guys are together now!?" she asked and I just now actually realized I didn't tell her anything about this.

"Shit. Sorry, El, I forgot." I said and scratched my neck nervously.

"You fucking forgot!? How on Earth could you forgot something important like that. Jeez, Sam I thought we are best friends." she said and shook her head in disbeliefs.

"I didn't know how to tell you. I am sorry okay?"

"Yeah, okay, whatever. I told you everything about my feelings for Mia and you couldn-" she started but I stopped her right away.

"When we are already talking about Mia, did anything new happened?" I asked with smirk and she immediately blushed which could mean only one thing.

"I may or may not kissed her last night" she said and looked away with smile.

"Oh my God! Tell me everything!" I demanded and at that moment Mia come behind her and hugged her then kissed her cheek.

"There is no much to tell." Mia started "After talk with you guys I called her and we agreed to meet in park and I said all my feelings for her and she kissed me immediately" she said and I could see happiness in their eyes.

"Aw, you guys are literally so cute!" I exclaimed with happiness.

"And I kissed her back obviously." Mia added and I couldn't help but laugh.

"At least you kiss her back" I said when I catch my breath and they looked at me with confusion.

"What do you mean?" Elena asked and I shook my head.

"When I kissed Dušica she literally froze! I swear, she didn't move! And I thought I messed up everything" I said and they laughed.

"She could get heart attack!" Mia said with smile.

"Anyway, where is she now?" Elena asked with confusion.

"She is taking bath right now. We woke up like hour ago" I said casually.

"But it's like 3pm there Sam." Elena pointed out.

"Looks like someone had long and hard night" Mia said and giggled.

"We did actually" I said and just then realized what was going on and my eyes went wide.

"Oh my god!" they both exclaimed and burst  out laughing.

"Not that!" I groaned and put my head in my hands. "Dušica is ill and she had nightmare. I was just about to make her soup or something to eat."

"You are going to cook!?" Elena asked and I nodded. "You are so whipped!"

At that moment Dušica walked down the stairs coughing and looked at me.

"Who is daring to annoy my babe?" she asked and sat next to me.

She was so pale and I really starter to worry about her even more.

"You look like shit" Mia said and I glared at her which made them laugh.

"Shut up babe, I don't want Sam to kill you!" Elena said and Dušica started coughing even more.

"Babe?" she asked with wide eyes.

"Yeah" Mia said and pecked Elena's cheek.

"Guys, I am so happy for you two! You deserve just the best!" she said and coughed again.

"Babe, why did you came here?" I asked and gently caressed her cheek.

"Did you really think I am going to just sit in room while you are here? No way!" she said and I leaned forward to kiss her but she stopped me and I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion.. "Don't. I am sick." she said simply and shook her head.

"Let's then just be sick together" I said and before she could protest any more, I kissed her.

"Guys, we are still here" Elena said and we pulled away.

I groaned and rolled my eyes when she smiled sheepishly. "Couldn't you just hung up?" I asked and they both shook their heads which made Dušica giggle.

"Guys, we should go on double date when we come back" she suggest and we all agreed.

"That would be great. When are you coming by the way?" Mia asked and I shrugged.

"On Friday morning, we will be there" Dušica said with sad smile.

"It looks like you two don't want to come" Elena said and Mia nodded.

"Well, I don't want, but we have to" I said and Dušica nodded.

"Yeah"

"Anyway, we have a game on Monday" Mia added and we couldn't believe.

"What?" we both asked at same time.

"Yeah, and we are not free of school because game start at 6pm. It will be full, literally!" Elena said.

"But we don't even have new choreography." I said and face palmed myself.

"Yeah, I know, but coach said we will just go with old one again because you weren't here." she said and rolled her eyes.

"Okay, whatever." Dušica said "But, we are not coming on practices for weekend."

"Why?" I asked together with other two girls.

"We are just not coming" she said with smirk and mouth of other two was forming 'O' shape.

"We will leave you two alone now" they said in unison and burst out laughing before hunging up.

I looked at Dušica and noticed how her body was all tensed up. I walked behind her and started massaging her.

"You have to relax" I said "You are so tensed up, babe." she just hummed in response and put her head down.

It was not problem for me to do this when I saw her body slowly relaxing. Her skin was so hot and I didn't know what to do but then I heard her giggling.

"What's so funny?" I asked and she turned around and faced me.

"Nothing, you are just too cute and I got my personal doctor"she said and brought me closer to her.

I couldn't help but smile when we kissed and when she cupped my face gently pulling me even closer into her. She suddenly pulled away quickly and I tilted my head aside and looked at her with confusion.

"Babe, I'm ill, don't make me kiss you!" she said and crossed her arms over her chest and I groaned.

"Oh, yeah, you are ill, so you need to go and rest while I'm making something for us to eat." I said and she shook her head.

"I can help" she said  and I looked at het in disbelief.

"No way I'm letting you do anything!" I said and picked her bridal style which made her giggle.

I placed her on our bed and put covers over her. Yeah, I just said 'our' bed and immediately smiled like an idiot.

"I hope you are well aware that you are smiling with no reason" Dušica said and I kissed her forehead.

"You are source of all my smiles" I whispered which made her smile as well and I waled out of room.

First of all, I decide to make a tea for her and then something else. I never actually spent much time in kitchen but I have few things I can cook like a pro.  When I went to room and gave her tea she was watching TV and was bored to dead.

"You okay, babe?" I asked playfully and she glared at me.

"I am perfectly fine, not bored at all" she said and I couldn't help but laugh.

"I'm sorry about that" I said after placing mug on bedside table, and sat down next to her on edge of bed.

"Sure thing" she said and placed her head in my lap and I gently stroke her hair.

"Do you at least fell little better than this morning?" I asked and she nodded.

"Yeah, actually, I do." she said with genuine smile and that was all I needed to hear right now.

After some time, I finished soup and I was feeding her like little baby, and I swear I enjoyed this. Soon, we both were lying on bed, she on top of me and me holding her tightly. I don't know when but very soon we both fall asleep.

I woke up by beautiful smell of pudding. I looked around bed and didn't see Dušica anywhere near. I quickly got up and walked downstairs. I saw her in kitchen while dancing around.

"What the hell are you doing!?" I asked and walked towards her.

"Well, you took care of me today so I wanted to make something for you." she said simply and I looked at her in disbelief.

"But, you have to rest!" I said and she groaned.

"Babe, I am much better now, I swear" she said  with smile.

"Are you sure?" I asked and she walked towards me nodding.

"Absolutely" she said and wrapped her arms around my neck.

"I see you have make dessert" I tried to reach for it  but she smacked my hand.

"It is still so hot!"

"But, what are we going to do until then?" I asked and raised my eyebrow.

"Well, I was thinking  about some other kind of dessert" she said and bit her lip.

Wait, what!?

"W-What do you me-?" I tried to ask but she cut me off by her lips pressed against mine.

Instinctively I jumped on her and she started going somewhere but I couldn't care less where she was taking me.

"Don't you know doctors can not be in a relationship with their patients" I asked and saw we were in bedroom.

"I might have heard about that, but I am known as someone who always breaks the rules" she said and threw me on bed.

Let's just say we had two delicious dessert  that day.
