Chapter 6

Third person's P.O.V.

Girls were in the car ready to meet their friend. Ana and Emili came to the park and they waited patiently for Sam and the others.

Meanwhile Sam was driving in front of Dušica and Mia showing them the  way. She was so lost in her thoughts about Dušica that she didn't even realized that they already came.

She parked on a parking lot next to park and got out of her car, Dušica parked next to her and they went out as well.

Dušica couldn't help but admire this goddess in front of her. She was different. Dušica was sure if she get to know Sam better she would find one caring and loving person deep down.

"She is probably late." that angelic voice brought her out of her daydream.

"She is always late!" Mia stated.

Dušica was curious who is this girl, so called El, probably Elodi or something. They saw girls sitting on one of the bench in the park and when they saw their company came they just waved.

"Over here!" Ana screamed.

Dušica really likes this girl! Her personality, she was so cheerfully and smile was on her face all the time.

Girls crossed the street and sat next to them on the bench. Everyone, literally everyone was staring at them. They all are used to that because they all look like models. Exactly like they just came from cover of some world famous magazine like Vogue, Elle or something like that.

"What took you so long?" asked Emili.

"Dušica has to change" answered Sam simply.

Ana and Emili just looked at each other.

"Damn!" Ana breathed out so low but it looked like everyone still managed to hear her which made Dušica frown.

"Oh come on, she changed in the restroom of Mac, don't be stupid!" Sam said coldly which confused Dušica a little but she couldn't help but laugh.

Mia started laughing as well "Did you... Did you... really think she changed in front of everyone in the parking lot?" she asked between laughs.

Now, two best friends were laughing like crazy, literally! Their friends were looking at them weirdly, and Ana blushed deep red.

Sam was enjoying view of Dušica laughing. It was like melody for her ears and she wished for that sound to wake her up every morning.

Wow, dear god, what am I thinking about!? She asked herself mentally.

"Would you two please stop, you are embarrassing us!" Emili groaned but she was so close to let her laugh because their laughs were like infectious.

Truth is, everyone who passed by them was looking at them weirdly but every one of them soon started laughing as well.

"Okay, okay sorry!" Dušica said while trying to catch her breath again.

She finally smiled and looked at Mia who was so red of laughing.

"Mia, seriously, stop!" she playfully glared at her best friend and Mia immediately stopped.

"Sorry" she said.

She was really scared of that glare. Dušica always used that glare because she knew what affect it has on her best friend and she couldn't help but smirk.

Comfortable silence was in  the air for couple moments when Sam decide to break it.

"You know, I never got a chance to ask you, why did you move here?"

Oh no! Thought Dušica and looked at Mia with her pleading look. Mia didn't know how to help, she was afraid of that question too.

Ana and Emili were curious as well, while they were waiting for their friends to come they were talking about Dušica. Somehow she was so familiar to them, but they didn't know from where. Where did they see her?

"Umm... Business. Family business" was all Dušica said.

Sam wasn't really convinced, she saw there is something more but she decide to leave it and just nod.

Ana couldn't handle it anymore "Why do you look so familiar to me?" she asked.

Now when Ana mentioned that, Sam looked at Dušica and actually agreed with Ana.

Dušica and Mia froze. She was so nervous. Mia lightly pushed her arm.

Dušica gave Ana nervous laugh and said "I don't know what are you talking about" she laughed again and looked down.

Okay, this is weird" Ana thought and looked at Emili who just shrugged.

Mia looked around and jumped from the bench.

"Look, ice cream! Do you want?"

She gave everything to save her best friend from any curious question.

"Yes, gosh I really need one." Dušica said and jumped down as well.

"You guys just had burgers like ten minutes ago!" Ana said with her mouth wide opened.

"Close your mouth honey" Dušica said and put her thumb under Ana's chin and her index finger just little under Ana's lip and raise her jaw up.

When Dušica pulled away Ana still was in awe, she bite her lip slowly.  How on Earth this little touch could make her wet?

Sam was furious! Why? She didn't even know! Stupid stupid stupid! She looked away when she saw this scene!

"So, you don't want?" asked Mia.

Girls on bench shook their heads and Mia and Dušica just shrugged before  leaving.

"Call us when El come!" screamed Mia which earned her one smack on the back of her head.

"Ouch, what was that for?" She asked while rubbing her head.

"We are in public, behave!" Dušica said with smile.

Other girls just giggled at this two.

"Oh my fucking god! Did you saw that!?" Ana almost screamed while touching her jaw and lips.

"YES! Yes, I did, damn you are one lucky bitch!" Emili said and playfully hit Ana's shoulder.

"Yes, I am one lucky bitch!" Ana mimicked and giggled.

"Girls, chill!"  Sam warned quite annoying "She is not, I repeat NOT gay! Ugh!"

"Woah woah, calm Sam! What's the problem?" Ana asked but truth is she was really scared right now.

For all this years she learned not to be on Sam's bad side...

"Nothing" Sam replied coldly and looked up at sky.

"By the way, where is El?"

"I really don't know, but it's better for her to come soon!"  Sam said again in her bitchy mood with that oh so famous resting bitch face.

Just like that Elena came in front of them.

"Hey bitches!" she yelled and scared them all.

"Oh my god!" Sam jumped on her "You are late!" she said again when she pulled away from the hug.

"I'm sorry, mom asked me to do something for her before I leave." answered Elena and gave her apologetic look.

"It's okay, you are finally back!"

(When Dušica and Mia left)

"Ugh, why they need to ask all this questions?" asked Dušica nervously.

"I don't know boo, they are probably just curious. You know I will help you however I can but you can't hide your real identity for long." she said to her billionaire bes friend, and place hand around her shoulder.

"I know but I'll do anything to make it as long as possible."

"I guess you forgot that gala on Friday right!? " Mia asked and chuckled.

Dušica froze and stood at one place then she turned to look at her best friend.

"WHAT!? Oh my God, you are right! Kill me now please."

Mia laughed like crazy.

"Mia Jovović, don't you dare laughing at me!" she gave her friend that famous glare.

Mia calmed and clear her throat.

"Sorry"

Dušica sighed, and waved it off.

"It's okay, so everyone in school will know who I am on Monday right?"

"More like whole world, but yeah, whole school too."

"Wow Mia, you are such a supportive friend!"

"I'm trying" Mia said and Dušica just shook her head in disbelief.

"You know Sam will be there with her family as well right?'' asked Mia.

"Why would she be at Annal business gala party?"

"Because, she is Mett you idiot! Her parents are second most influence family on this world, after yours of course."

"What!? Seriously!?"

"Yes, seriously! God, I have already told you that"

"Well, that's cool.'' Dušica said and shrugged ignoring the last part.

They came to man and ordered chocolate ice cream for Mia and vanilla for Dušica.

"I still don't understand why you love vanilla more!"

Dušica didn't bother to answer so she just shrugged And then man handed them their ice crams.

"Thanks" Dušica said and gave him money.

Meanwhile Sam, Ana and Emili were talking with El about her holiday.

"It really was amazing. By the way, where is Mia and that new girl you told me about?" she asked and looked at Sam.

"Buying ice cream." Sam answered simply.

"Great, let's go, I want ice cream too!" she said and practically dragged her three friend to man who was selling ice cream. She noticed there is no one else in this park except them.

She looked at two girls who was waiting for their ice cream when she heard Mia said "I still don't understand why you love vanilla more!" this chick next to her just shrugged.

"What's her name?" El asked Sam.

"Dušica, pretty unique name." Elena's heart start beating like crazy.

She just stood there frozen "No way!"

Sam and others stopped too and looked weirdly at El.

At that moment girls was paying and they turned around. They were so busy with their ice creams they didn't even notice that four girls were few metres away of them.

Even if Dušica didn't look up, Elena was sure it was her. Tears of joy were forming in her eyes.

"Dušica!?" she almost screamed and scared the shit out of everyone.

Dušica knew that voice, but that can't be. She looked up and saw her. Big smile on her face.

"Oh... My... God! Lenaaa!" she screamed as well, her ice cream felt down and Elena start running towards her.

She jumped on Dušica and wrapped her legs around her waist and arms around her neck. Dušica hold her tight like She could just disappear any second. They both were crying, sobbing at each other neck. Elena lightly pulled away, but still not jumping off of Dušica.

"I can't believe you are here! You are finally here!" she said and kissed Dušica's cheek.

She jumped off and hugged her tightly. She was still crying.

"Shh, baby don't cry. I'm here now, and I am not planing on going anywhere!" Dušica said and kissed Elena's forehead.

Dušica couldn't believe this is happening, she was so happy, just like Elena.

Other girls were so confused. Sam looked at Mia with confused expression but Mia just shrugged.

Then something hit Sam. She remembered how Elena once said there is just one, special person who call her Lena. And she didn't let anyone of them call her like that. But Dušica just called her that way. What the hell is happening.

"Wow, your voice is really much sexier like this than on Skype or face time!" said Elena. Dušica just laughed and cleared Elena's tears with her thumb.

"But weren't you supposed to come here on Saturday? And I were supposed to wait for you!?" asked Elena.

"Yeah, but dad changed plans."

"And you didn't even told me!"

"I did send you message and tried to call but you weren't online." said Dušica and rolled her eyes.

"Umm... Well that's true. I didn't even check my phone when I came." she looked down.

Dušica burst out laughing.

"It's okay. But, what about you? You were supposed to come after too!? "

"Parents changed plans. You know how they are!" Elena said and rolled her eyes.

"Yeah, I know how they are. They're exactly like you!"

"Hey! You are not cool" Elena said and playfully hit Dušica's arm and they both laughed.

"Anyway, I am glad you are finally here baby girl!" she said and hugged Dušica again.

"I'm glad too!" said Dušica and kiss top of her head.

Wait. BABY GIRL? WHAT THE FUCK! Sam couldn't believe, but she wasn't the only one, Ana, Emili and Mia were shocked as well. Are they two dating or something they all wondered.

They all know Elena was openly bisexual but they didn't know she is dating someone.

Sam couldn't handle anymore looking her best friend hugging her crush so tightly like her life depends of that. She was jealous like never before!

What? She finally confirmed she has crush on Dušica okay?

"I'm sorry I'm interrupting this moment but can you two please explain what the hell we just witnessed to?"

Mia was glad Sam decided to stop this, she couldn't watch her best friend hugging someone else like this. She was jealous and scared that Dušica might be with Elena more than with her. She was scared she will lose her best friend. But that wasn't the only thing.

Dušica and Elena looked at each other and burst out laughing.

This only made Sam more annoyed. She loved Dušica's laugh but right now she wanted answers.

Mia noticed this and she came to Sam and put her hand on Sam's shoulder to calm her down. Sam looked at Mia and gave her small smile.

"Seriously guys, we are curious!" Ana whined.

"Sorry." said Elena and cleared her throat.  "Hmm... So, this girl over here" she motioned at Dušica who just smiled. "Is my best internet friend!"

"What!?" all girls said in unison.

Dušica signed and tired to explain herself.

"Listen. We know each other for year and half now. We met online. And we started talking. After some time we were face timing each other, or just Skyping. We become so close. Only problem would be that when here is day in London is night. Sometimes I would stay up all night to talk with her, others she would be up all night. We would talk about everything. I met her parents, she met mine. They were pretty cool with us being friends and soon enough they become friends as well. That's it!"

"Seriously guys?" asked Mia.

"Yes! She also used to play guitar and piano when I was sad! She is the best!" said Elena and Dušica chuckled.

"Of course I am"

"Wait, wait, wait that's how you know when I curse on Serbian!" Mia almost screamed shocked.

Dušica and Elena just laughed and nodded slowly.

"Damn, Dušica I hate you! That earned me punch on the back of my head every time I curse!"

"I know Mia, that's why I taught her how to curse, just so you would stop doing that!" said Dušica while wrapping her arm around Mia's shoulder.

"So, guys should we go to movie finally?" asked Ana.

They all nodded and decided to leave. When everyone was in their cars, Sam called Elena for second.

"She really played guitar and piano for you? " asked Sam finally when everyone left.

"Yes, she did. She used to do it a lot you know, every time when I was sad she was the only person beside you who knew how to cheer me up. Every time when I had fight with my boyfriends or you, she was there. Always! And every time I came tired in school that was because I spent night talking with her"  Elena said and chuckled. "She is really good person. Why do you ask?"

Sam smiled hearing all this "Just curious. Come on, we should get going now. We don't want them to wait for us, do we?"

"Of course not, let's go!" said Elena and got in her car.

"Wait! Let's drive together. I'll come for my car after."

"Okay, get in!" said Elena. Sam got in and El started the engine.

Meanwhile Dušica and Mia were driving to the cinema. Dušica noticed that Mia is awfully quite.

"Baby, what's up?" Dušica asked.

"It's nothing" answered Mia coldly and looked away, through the window.

"Wow wow, girl you know you can't lie to me! What's wrong?" Dušica was worried now.

"I am just little scared" Mia whispered but Dušica still heard her.

Dušica looked at her best friend and placed her hand on top of Mia's.

"Scared of what?" she asked, focusing on the road now.

"Of losing my best friend." again, she looked away.

"Wow, wow hold on!" said Dušica and pulled car next to driveway. People horned to her but she didn't give a fuck.

"Tell me what are you talking about!!!"

"Now when El came and when you told us how close you two are... I just don't fell confident anymore. I fell like I'll lose you and I wouldn't survive that. I can't lose you!"

Dušica was shocked and confused but also hurt with this statement of her best friend.

"Baby, I didn't know you felt like this." but Mia still didn't look at her.

"Hey, look at me" said Dušica and took Mia's cheek in her hands to make Mia look at her.

"Listen, carefully. Elena is my friend and really good one. She was here for me when no one, except you, was. But I promise you, no one, I repeat NO ONE, is ever gonna replace you. Ever! You are unique. She may be friend but you are my sister! Remember that. Since I lose my real sister, you are the only one I have ever consider like sister and you know that! She is friend and you are family! Don't forget that, please! You will never lose me baby."

Dušica finished and Mia was already crying. Dušica was crying as well.

"Come here" Dušica motioned Mia to come closer and hug her. Mia obligated and put her head on her best friend's chest. Dušica caressed her cheeks and hair.

"I love you sissy" Mia said.

"I love you too, baby girl" answered Dušica. "Come on, let's go, they are probably waiting."

She could fell Mia nodding but not moving.

"Can you try to drive like this?" asked Mia.

Dušica laughed lightly and nodded. "I can try."

She pulled on gas and drives away.

Little did they know Sam and Elena saw everything that happened even thought they couldn't hear what they were talking about.

Sam was really curious like Elena as well.

* In front of cinema *

Dušica and Mia came last. When they come everyone was watching at them. They went out and girls were little pissed.

"Seriously, guys what took you so long!?" asked Ana.

"Sorry, we had some issue '' was all they said.

"It's okay" said Sam and looked at Dušica who gave her thankful look and big smile "Let's go inside!"

Everyone nodded and followed her in.

"What will we watch?" asked Ana.

"What do you think about Wonder woman?" Emili was one who suggested.

"Agree!" all girls answered in unison which made them all laugh.

"I'll buy tickets" said Sam and leave.

"I'll handle snacks, what do you girls want?" asked Dušica.

They all agreed on big cola and big pop corn. Dušica just nodded and left them.

When she was there she saw Sam.

"Sam, what do you want?"

Sam was confused and Dušica laughed.

"I mean snacks, what do you want of snacks?"

"Oh, that" Sam laughed nervously. "I'll go for  nachos and big coca"

Dušica smirked and said "That's my girl" with that she left to take snacks.

Sam was left there, speechless and confused. She felt like heat is rising up to her cheeks. Wait what is this? She didn't know what happened... Is she sick?

Then she saw on glass door that she is blushing. What? That have never happen to her before.

When everything was bought and every girl had their own food Sam couldn't help but notice that Dušica bought big coke, pop corn, nachos and three candies.

Damn how much this girl can eat? Sam wondered.

It was time for their movie and girls started going inside. Everyone was watching them in awe.

"Lena, can we talk for a second?" asked Dušica before they walked in.

"Of course, what's up?" Elena asked with soft smile.

"Please, baby don't tell them who I am. They will know on Friday or Saturday eventually" Dušica asked her friend with pleading eyes.

"Of course baby, you shouldn't worry about that but, let's go inside. They are waiting. " Elena said and kissed Dušica's cheek.

"Thanks, you are the best!" they walked inside when Dušica remembered.

"On Saturday they are all coming for sleepover at my new home, which by the way, I still didn't see." Dušica said and rolled her eyes which made Elena laugh. "Anyway, will you come too?"

"Of course babe!"

At that moment they came to girls, Dušica sit between Sam and Mia and Elena sit on Mia's other side.

Dušica was so tired and hungry. She has already watched this movie so she decide she is going to take a nap because movie is almost two and half an hour long. She unpacked first candy and eat it in two bites.

Sam was watching Dušica eating her candies with amused expression.

"Don't look me like that, I am just hungry okay?" Dušica said not even looking up at Sam. Sam was pretty confused

"How did you know I was watching you!?"

"I can feel someone's staring" Dušica said and laughed.

Sam just shook her head and said "Whatever, movie is starting now."

Somewhere at half of the movie Dušica finally managed to fall asleep at Mia's shoulder. Girls were amused while they were watching her sleeping in the cinema.

"She is just tired, it was eleven hours long flight girls, she need her beauty sleep." Mia informed and laughed lightly but careful not to wake up Dušica.

When movie ended, girls wanted to wake Dušica up but Mia didn't allow.

"Shh, I'll just carry her to car and drive her home, anyway I'm sleeping there tonight."

"Okay, but are you sure you can do it?" asked Sam.

"Of course I can, she is not that heavy you know. " she answered and laughed.

"Yeah, I'm aware. I mean look at her!"

Mia smiled and picked Dušica up from her seat. Dušica moved a little but didn't wake up. She just buried her face in crock of Mia's neck and they left.

Once they were out Mia needed to wake Dušica so she could give her car keys.

"Dušica, honey wake up." she shook Dušica a little and she immediately woke up.

"Oh my god, don't tell me I slept all this time!"

Girls just nodded and smiled.

"Oh gosh, I'm so so so sorry! But this  flight and this freaking time zones are killing me."

"Don't worry, we understand." said Sam and smiled again showing her perfect dimples.

She was enjoying to watch Dušica sleeping. She looked so peaceful and careless.

"Anyway, see you on Saturday?" asked Ana excitedly.

"Of course, also I'll get to see you tomorrow at school as well! " answered Dušica.

"Wait, you are coming at school tomorrow?" asked Elena.

Dušica shook her head "Not at classes, just to pick Mia. I really need some shopping" she said and smiled.

"Okay then" said Sam "Have a good night girls" she waved and left.

Other girls bid their goodbye's as well and left.

"Come on, let's go"  Mia said and got in the car.

"What time is it?" asked Dušica sleepily.

"Just 8 p.m."

"Oh god, I wanna sleep! "

"I know honey, and you will just when we come home, alright?" asked Mia.

"Alright. You know the path, just drive"

"I can't wait to see Ms. and Mr. Nikolić again!"

"They will be happy to see you as well!"

Mia started driving and Dušica's mind traveled to Sam. She smiled and closed her eyes just for second imagining Sam. Again...
