"We're really doing this." I muttered to Jessy as she absentmindedly played with my hands that rested in her lap.

"Yes we are my love." I smiled and leaned over to peck her cheek.

"Uh guys. I have a thing on Saturday." we turned to look at Taylor who had a' thing' on Saturday. .

"Yea? What 'thing'?" Jessy asked eyeing her, not letting my hands go. Alec was asleep, his head resting on Taylor.

"Just a friend who invited me out."

"You can go but we need to know with who and when you'll be home. No later than 10pm please."

"Yeah ofcourse." she smiled and started off into space with a toothy grin on her face.

"Ms Chase. Always a pleasure." we turned our heads to see someone in a suit looking at us. He was tall and fairly handsome.

"Danny. How are you?" Jessy answered, letting my hands go and getting up to shake his hand.

"I've been good. You? Who are these people by the way?" he looked towards me, giving me a flirty look.

Jessica cleared her throat and held her hand out. I took it and stood by her side.

"This is my fiancé Andy and our kids Taylor and Alec." she said proudly, removing her hand from mine only to wrap it around my waist.

His face fell but he quickly recovered and smiled.

"Congratulations. I meant to tell you that the judge is ready for you."

He opened the door and the four of us walked in. A very sleepy Alec leaned against Taylor as we walked.

Straight in front of us stood a woman in her mid to late 50s.

"Ms Chase. Welcome back." she said and looked at my soon to be wife.

"Good morning Judge." she smiled back at the judge and she began the process.

"I can't believe you two got married without us there!" my mum screamed across the room and sent a sharp glare towards us.

On the opposite couch, Taylor and Alec snickered but Dana gave them a warning look, although she too looked like she wanted to laugh.

"Honey it's okay." Dana said coming to our defense. Alice just gave her a glare in return.

"No it's not. I wanted to plan a ceremony and it would have been spectacular but now I've been robbed." Alice said slightly pouting at Dana.

I accidentally snorted. She was robbed? It was my damn wedding.

Alice, Dana and Jessica all sent glares my way and I mumbled a sorry.

"Well there is a small celebration. I got us a table at that place you like." Jessy said as she rubbed up and down my arm. My ears peaked and I looked at her.

"The one with no reservations?" I asked knowing that place never has space.

She nodded and I smiled.

"Alice, Dana I want you guys there too. You're her moms. You need to be there." Alice's face immediately lit up with joy. She ran up to her room yelling about changing into something else. Dana followed, clearly feeling the need to abandon her sweats and hoodie and swap it out for a nice dress or suit. Jessica, Taylor and I had on dresses while Alec had on a small suit. Even though we didn't have the whole ceremony thing we wanted it to feel wedding like. So we all dressed up a little.

I turned in my seat next to Jessy and hugged her and with my mouth next to her ear I whispered how much I love her and kissed her ear before hiding my face in her neck. She kissed my head and I felt her smile.

By 6pm we were in the restaurant eating and laughing. This is my family. These are the people who mean the most to me.

My mums insisted on taking the kids for the night saying that a newly wed couple needs a night alone.

So when we got home we did what few would have done in our place. We sat on the couch and binged TV. But midway we found ourselves in a heated make out session with me straddling her.

She moved her hand down to my butt and squeezed it, causing me to moan in her mouth.

"Let's take this to our room. We need to break it in." she said as she stood up. My legs immediately wrapped around her and my head went to her neck where I placed small kisses and marked her.

We made love through the night and woke up exhausted and ready for work the next day.

I got up as the bathroom door closed, realizing she went into the shower. I put on my underwear and her t-shirt from last night and went down to make her breakfast.

I made scrambled eggs and toast and popped a pop tart in the toaster. I filled her go to cup with coffee freshly brewed and set a glass with orange juice down for her. I was finishing the eggs when I felt a tap on my shoulder.

I turned around and there stood my wife.

"Can I hold you from the back while you cook?" she asked. I could see that she was very hesitant knowing that it's one of my triggers.

I turned around and used my free hand to bring her hand around my waist. She tightened her hold on me and kissed my temple while I finished the eggs.

"God I love you so much my beautiful and intelligent wife." she said to me as I turned the stove off.

"I love you too baby." I whispered back to her. She let go of me and I dished up our food.

We sat down and ate, stealing small glances at each other while we did so.

After breakfast I loaded up the dishwasher and kissed Jessica before she left.

I spent the day relaxing. When the kids got home at 4 I helped them with homework and they went up to their rooms. I decided to take a small nap, feeling bored and tired.

"Baby. Come on my love. Wakey wakey."

I opened my eyes and saw my wife standing over me. Her hair was in a messy bun and her shirt unbuttoned and untucked.

"Hmm hi baby." I said and started rubbing my eyes.

"Hi my love. Come. Up. Let's go eat dinner." she held her hand out and I took it.

"Baby you didn't have to make dinner. You had a long day at work." she really didn't have to cook after her day.

"Baby it's okay. I wouldn't have expected you to cook for me. You're not my slave. You're my partner. So I made our family dinner."

I smiled and pulled her into me by her hips, placing a chaste kiss on her lips.

"I love you." I said as I grabbed her hand and went downstairs.

"Mommy!" I heard and Alec charged at me

"Hi buddy." I kissed his head and let him go.

We all sat down at the table.

"So you have that thing tomorrow Tay." I said as I looked over at my daughter.

She blushes and nods.

"Is that a blush Taylor?" Jessy asked, wiggling her eyebrows.

"Y-yeah."

"So Jessica will drop you off at the mall tomorrow and Alec has his appointment so we'll go there." she nodded.

"Let me know how it goes."
