"The mass is pressing on his nerve and while it isn't causing him any pain right now it could in the future."

The doctor sat across from us, we're in the pediatrics wing of the hospital.

"So would you take it out?"

"Well yes but there is another concern."

"What is it doc?" Jessica's gang tightened in my own.

"Well there's a chance if we take it out it might grow back but this time it might be malignant."

"So what can we do?" Jessica asked firmly next to me.

"For now we leave it and see how it goes."

We nodded and said our goodbyes, taking Alec out.

We got home and Alec went to the game room upstairs to play with a trainset Jessica built.

"We paid so much fucking money for him to basically tell us 'sorry can't help'. It's fucking bullshit!" I scream in frustration.

"My love. Calm down." Jessica said firmly, pulling me into her.

She settled us down on the couch, instructing me to take deep breaths.

When the anger died down I was left an emotional mess.

"What if they remove it and it grows back and this time it's malignant?" I ask in an almost broken voice.

"Then we'll deal with it." she planted a firm kiss on my head and I layed down in her lap while she played with my hair. We stayed like this for a while, until Jessy's phone started ringing.

"Jessica Chase. Speaking?"

There was a pause before she sighed and spoke.

"I'm on my way. I'm staying for no more than 2 hours."

She ended the call and looked to me.

"I'm sorry baby. I'll be back as soon as possible. I love you."

She kissed my head and left.

I stayed bored for the next 2 hours and when she didn't come back I decided to go to her office to see her and bring her lunch. I dropped Alec off at my mums since Taylor was staying at a friend's.

When I walked in, her secretary greeted me.

"Good afternoon Mrs Chase. How are you?" she smiled at me. Everyone in her office knows me as Mrs Chase.

"I'm good thanks and you Faith."

"I'm good. The other Mrs Chase is in her office having a meeting with her assistant. You can go right in."

"Thank you. Enjoy your day."

"You too Andy."

I smiled and walked to the elevator. The building has 4 floors and Jessy was on the fourth along with the 2 other owners and all their assistants.

I walked to the door and didn't bother knocking just walking in but what I saw shattered my heart.

Lip locked on her desk was Jessica and her assistant Brittany. I've never liked her.

They didn't hear me and I watched as my Jessica's lips moved from her lips to her neck, abrubtly opening her eyes and making eye contact with me.

I dropped the basket with food in me hands and walked out of the building, running down the stairs and out of the building as Jessica ran after me.

Teary eyed, I went to a hotel and used my card to rent a room for a few days. I messaged my mum telling her to keep Alec.

I curled up on the bed and hugged a pillow as I cried. I cried and sobbed until I passed out, ignoring the beeping of my phone that was flooding with messages and calls from Jessy.

I woke up the next morning with sore and puffy eyes from all the crying.

I let room service in while I went to a supermarket and bought a ton of snacks.

I drove for hours, eating all the good I bought before going back to the hotel to see the lights off and curtains drawn.

I didn't think anything of it so I stripped my clothes and went for a shower but as soon as I opened my door I felt something hit my head and then I was in complete darkness.

School is kicking my ass and I literally haven't had a chill day since like February which sucks, it's been a really hectic and heartbreaking week for me but now that it's Ramadan I'll try and update more frequently because eating won't take up time lol.
