"Have a good day guys."

My son and Taylor turned back to look at me and smiled before heading out.

"You can go shower if you want." I said as I turned away from the door to the beautiful woman in my apartment.

"No I'm good. I was wondering though. I want to spend the day with you until whenever Alec gets out. Is that okay?"

"I thought you had work at 12?"

"Nope. Took off. Anyway wanna come over to my place? We can watch TV. Order pizza. Or we can just talk. Whatever you want. This is me asking you out on a date and I think you'll be alot more comfortable at my home rather than a restaurant somewhere."

I nodded and went to get my wallet, phone and keys.

"Let's go."

We walked out to her car, both of us still in the clothes we slept in.

"Okay fair warning my house looks pretentious but I swear I'm not."

I laughed and nodded as she started the drive to her place.

The drive took about 30 minutes and I was correct in assuming she was in a league way higher than my own. The outside of her home was stunning. And big. Like really big. Like her bedroom was probably the size of my whole apartment.

Wait why am I thinking about the size of her bedroom?!

"I know it's big. And it screams pretentious and rich but I swear it's just the way it looks."

She stared rambling on and she looks really kissable. Ughhh I need to stop thinking about kissing her. On her full, pink and juicy lips. God she's gorgeous.

I grabbed her hand in my own to try and shut her up so we could go in.

"Jessy, hun, I don't think you're pretentious."

She looked me, a little in shock, and nodded.

"Let me park in the garage."

I nodded and waited for the gate to close behind us while the garage opened. To my absolute amazement, she had more cars in their. A beat up Mazda, a silver Toyota, black BMW and a silver merc. And a Honda. Holy fuck that's alot of cars.

"Fuck I should've parked out. I know I have alot of cars and I make alot of money but that's not the point and I'm gonna shut up now. Come on let's go in."

I nodded and moved to get out but she held her hand out telling me to stop before racing around to my side of the car and opening for me.

"Thank you." I mumbled shyly as I looked down.

"You ramble alot you know that."

"I know and you're the only person I've met that'd tell me that. People shut up and let me do as I please because I have money and I hate it and so far you haven't treated me any differently because of it and judging by your face when you saw my cars and my home I assume you're a little turned off by all the money."

"Yeah I am. It's just I don't want you to spend on me and I'm scared you'll try to atleast."

She nodded and held my hand as we made out way into the house and towards a sofa in the living room where she sat me down and stared at me.

"I won't buy anything without asking you. My money is my money and you're a very independent and beautiful woman so I know you won't let me spoil you or Alec. I swear. I'll ask before I buy."

"This is where I'm conflicted. I want to be spoilt by you and have you spoil Alec if we get more serious but I won't be able to repay you. Judging from all this," I waved my hands around, "we're on different levels. I'll never be able to afford half the things in this house ever. It's unfair."

"Andy. If things get serious between us, money will never be a problem for any of us ever again. And if we're serious, it's not mine. It's ours. Our money, our house, our cars. Ours. Not mine."

"But it's n-"

She squeezed my hands as she cut me off.

"Ours. Okay?"

"Not ours-"

"Beautiful Andy you're arguing with a lawyer and judging from my house and cars a good one. You sure you wanna argue?"

"Ugh fine. Ours."

She smiled in victory and seeing her smile made me smile. We made eye contact and in that moment I saw a future with this woman.

"You're so beautiful Andy."

She whispered it out as she moved a strand of hair from my face.

"Thank you." I whispered back as a response while my cheeks held a red tint.

We kept eye contact for a while, just gazing into each other's eyes getting lost.

"Can I kiss you?" my eyes didn't move from hers as I nodded a response. I felt her hands gently touch the sides of my face as she leaned in and connected our lips in a sweet soft kiss before pulling back. Without opening my eyes I pulled her back in and wrapped my arms around her neck while her hands fell to my waist.

We stayed on the couch making out for a few minutes, just kissing with no tongue and it was incredible and sweet and I felt like a giddy lovestruck teenager.

After our makeout session we just sat around and watched a movie on Netflix while eating delicious pizza. At first we sat apart but somehow we ended up cuddled with her head on my chest and our arms wrapped around each other.

"So movies over. What do you wanna do?"

I looked down at her head that was still on my chest.

"We've only done what I wanted. What do you wanna do?"

She turned her head to look at me.

"Well we're going at your pace so."

"Well then I want to do what you wanna do."

She smirked and I knew I should have worded my sentence better.

"Well I wanna go up to my room and do something with you while we're naked but we only just met and this isn't a one night stand so how about instead of that or making out we cuddle and get to know each other?"

I laughed and nodded and decided to make things a little interesting.

"I like this idea but let's make it a game. If I ask a question and you don't answer, you take off something. And vice versa. Okay?"

She nodded and got off of me before sitting cross legged on the carpeted floor, me joining her after.

"What's your full name Ms Andy?"

"It's Moore. Andy Moore. No middle name. You said you have no siblings. Was it lonely?"

"Well I started easy Ms Moore and you give me a deep one. I half lied? I don't have biological siblings. That I know off. But I have a foster sister that I'm close with. She's my sister. I shouldn't have lied."

"Having a sibling is amazing."

"It is indeed. What's your favourite colour?"

"Blue or black. How'd you get into law school?"

"I've always wanted to be a lawyer so after college, I went there. Got my degree. Went to work at a firm at the bottom of the 'food chain'. Studied part time and worked my way up until I opened my own law firm and it took off."

"Wow. Hardwork hey."

"Definitely. Do you wanna go deeper or stay on simple questions. I'm okay with either but I would really love to get to know you Ms Andy Moore."

"Let's go deeper."

She nodded and leaned in to peck my lips.

"How old where you when Alec was born?"

"15. What happened to your parents."

Our voices were soft and barely whispers. We both knew we would be addressing very sensitive topics today.

"Murder suicide. Someone broke into the house while I was at school. My parents were home. He tied them up and robbed the house. But someone called the cops and when they got there he shot himself. He raped my mom infront of my dad before killing her and then him and then he saw a picture of me and said he would do the same. I saw the whole thing happen on the nanny cam. We always joked that if there was a robbery, the robbers wouldn't see the camera stuffed in a teddy bear and get caught."

She was crying by the time she finished so I did what anyone else would have and hugged her.

"You're so strong Ms Jessica."

"Chase. My surname. It's Chase." she laughed out while I held her.

"You're very strong and equally as gorgeous Ms Jessica Chase."

I pulled back and gently attached my lips to hers.

"What about you? Your parents?"

"I never met them. I was adopted by a beautiful woman when I was 3, after spending time in foster care. She was a wonderful mom to me before she had a bad car accident and devoloped an opioid addiction. Then she met this man and married him when I was 13. He legally adopted me. And she passed from an overdose the next year. After my fourteenth birthday he started abusing me, physically and mentally. Beatings and insults. Eventually he raped me. The first time it was so painful I passed out. It carried on for a few months. Then I took a pregnancy test after I hadn't gotten my period and it came back positive. So I left. I got a job. At a cafe. The owner let me stay there and her and her wife helped me take care of my Alec. They became my mums so to speak. After my second year in uni I left with Alec to the apartment. But he calls them his grandma's. They always insist on helping me out financially but as you can tell, I'm stubborn."

She looked at me shocked. The same expression Sam had the day I told her.

"You said I'm strong. You're stronger than I could ever dream of being."

"Thank you."

"Next question. Can I call you pet names?"

"Yes yes yes. I love pet names. Can I call you pet names?" I said in an excited voice, enjoying moving on from a hard topic.

"Yeah you can baby."

"That sounds nice."

"Hmm it does. What time is Alec out baby?"

"At 2 babe."

"So we still have time?"

I nodded and got up, giving her my hand to get up.

I sat on the couch and she sat next to me. I took a chance and straddled her.

"Is this okay?"

She nodded and I leaned in to kiss her forehead and hide my face in her neck while she wrapped her arms around me.

"Alec is the best thing to happen to me. In a fucked up way I'm thankful what happened to me so I could have my baby."

"He's a great kid."

"He is. Can I take a nap please? I'm exhausted."

"I'll wake you up at 1 okay? Come on I'll show you a room. Or my room..."

"Yours." I said with a beaming smile.

She nodded and held my hand, leading me to her room.

I glanced around her open plan first floor which was beautifully designed and decorated. There was a side door from the garage that led into the living room with a TV. Across from that was a large front door with intricately carved designs. The staircase stood in the middle, floating with wooden steps. The kitchen, dining room and sliding doors to outside were all in open view, along with a bar area and another sitting area.

"Are you sure you wanna nap in my room? This is a 5 bedroom house. There's enough space. You don't have to stay in my room."

"Baby your room. Could you maybe stay with me? You don't have to be in bed but I don't want to be alone. Please?"

She nodded and pushed open a door. Her room was beautiful. And huge. And I was right. I think. My entire apartment could fit into it.

There was a big bed in the center with black and grey bedding, the furnishings were all black. She had dark floorboards and grey blackout curtains adorning her large windows.

"The doors open into a bathroom and the wall on that side is a closet."

I nodded and literally ran and jumped on the soft and comfy bed while she made herself comfortable on a couch that was placed on a rainbow carpet with a bookshelf to the side. The only part of the room that had colour.

"If you need me I'll be here okay?"

I nodded and wondered if she had any teddy bears. I can't sleep without cuddling something, especially when I nap.

"Baby go to bed. I'll be here. Or do you need something?"

I nodded slightly.

"Okay what is it baby? More blankets? Something to wear?"

"It's kinda stupid." I admitted because I mean what adult with a kid needs a stuffed animal to hold to sleep sometimes.

She puts the book she was holding down before coming to the bed and taking my hands in hers.

"Hey. With me. Nothing. And I mean nothing, is ever stupid or dumb. Okay? You're beautiful and intelligent and we're sorta a thing now so nothing makes anything you think, need, want or ask dumb or stupid. Understand baby?"

I nodded and she kissed me.

"So what was it?"

"I need a stuffed animal. Or something to hold. Usually I use the extra pillow because the teddy I used tore."

She nodded and went to the closet and got one.

"This was mine when I was a kid. His name is Mr giggles."

I giggled and accepted the large bear.

"Permission to take you shopping to find a replacement to your teddy?"

I shook my head no. She's not spending any money on me.

"Okay then. Keep Mr giggles okay? And sleep well angel. I'm right here."

"Just gonna accept my no?"

"No means no baby. One day you'll say yes to me buying something and I'll be ecstatic and I'll get it for you. But until then no means no in all senses okay?"

"Okay. But because you respected me can you get me a new one?"

She nodded mad kissed my head before going.

"That was just human decency, respecting your decision."

I nodded and held Mr giggles close to me as I fell asleep.
