"Alec bud go get your stuff. We're leaving."

While he went into the room, I went to open the door to let in Jess.

"Hi babe."

She hugged me and kissed my cheek.

"Hey. Are you sure you're okay with staying in? I realised I pretty much planned tonight and didn't ask you about it."

"Yea don't worry."

"Okay great so where's the little man?" she asked looking around for Alec.

"He's right about there." I said as Alec came charging at Jess in a hug.

"Hi buddy. How are you?"

"I'm good and you? Mummy said you're taking us out?"

"Yes bud I am. You ready?"

He nodded his head. And she picked him up before grabbing my hand to walk out. I locked up and we got into the fortuner.

"So how was your day beautiful?" she asked as she held my hand.

I turned to look at her as she drove, having been staring out of the window enjoying the scenery.

"It was amazing. I saw my mums. They missed Alec of course. And they bought me a car as a birthday gift which is amazing because I have one less thing to buy for my new life. Also they invited you and your sister over for dinner on Sunday."

"That's amazing angel. And sure no problem. I'd love to meet them. Do I need to bring anything?"

"You can say no if it's too soon to meet the parents you know. And no just yourself and your sister."

"Gotcha. So is it like a birthday dinner?"

"Basically Yea. It's gonna be them and us and you guys."

"Well I'd love that. I'm sure my sister won't mind. She loves people."

I smiled and leaned my head against the window, closing my eyes.

"You tired?"

"Yea a little but it's okay." not opening my eyes.

She didn't respond but still held me and I kept my eyes closed until we stopped and I heard a gate open.

"Woahhhh is this your house?!"

"Yeah it is. It's cooler inside."

"Mummy can I look around when we're inside?" my 8 year old looks towards me as if it's my decision.

"It's not my house kid. Ask Jess."

"I asked you cause Jess would say I need to ask you."

"Well don't break anything okay so try not to touch anything."

He nodded while she pulled up on the side.

"Babe go in. You know the way. I wanna talk to this big man over here."

I nodded, a little bit curious as to what they were going to talk about but I went ahead inside the front door.

Inside, the dining table was set for 4 places and I smelt pizzas.

I made myself comfortable on the couch seeing as I haven't really gone around her home before and I didn't wanna go through it now. So I settled myself on the couch and scrolled through apartments. If I have roughly 4 500 a month after taxes, 200 goes to water and electricity so around 1 500 on rent and I'll be good.

"Hi there beautiful. Whatcha doing on the couch?" I felt arms around me as she said that.

"Nothing really. Just looking for apartments. Where's Alec?"

"He's gone up to play. Now I wanted to talk to you about some things if that's okay?"

I nodded and she moved her arms and came around to sit in front of me on the floor.

"This is unexpected and too soon I know but I don't like not saying things. I love you Andy Moore. You're so beautiful and incredible and in these literal days I fell so damn hard for you baby. I know you probably don't feel the same and that's okay. I'll wait as long as you need me to or if you don't want to be with me anymore that's fine to. But I needed to tell you that I love you so much baby."

Oh. My. Gosh. She loves me. It's been days. What?! I've fallen for her too and I know it's soon but it feels so right with her. Everything feels right. Fuck. I'm in love and I didn't notice. How don't you notice.

"I love you too." I leaned down and kissed her, pulling her up in the process while happy tears streamed down my face.

She pulled back and held my face in her delicate hands.

"No baby. No crying."

She kissed away all of my tears and I could have just crumbled down for her then and there.

"You said 'things'. Plural. What else baby?"

"Hmm yes. Smart woman you are baby. Well there's 2 major things. One is your birthday gift and the second is some news."

"Uh okay?"

"So you obviously know Taylor right? Well I'm fostering her permanently and if things go according to plan I'll be able to adopt. That's what the court hearing was about today. I'm a lawyer and I'm rich. Money goes a long way in this world and I try and use it to help others. Like Taylor. She's upstairs."

My Taylor. My 'daughter' of sorts is now being fostered by the woman I'm in love with. Okay well that's a good thing I never saw coming. She'll have a way better life here.

"That's incredible. Take care of my Tay. She's an amazing kid."

"She really is. Now for your birthday present. I'm going to help you find an apartment. We can go tomorrow to look around if you're free. I would have asked you to move in but we haven't even been on a date and plus you're too independent to move in with someone you barely know."

Well isn't she just the sweetest.

"Uh actually. I would want to? An apartment would be a little expensive for me right now. And if you'd have Alec and I, I'd like to move in. If you don't have room I get it. I could always sleep on the couch I guess. Plus being with you feels right. I can't explain it but it just feels right to be with you and yeah."

"Well there's 4 rooms. You and Alec can have your own rooms."

I leaned into her, wrapping my arms around her in a gentle hug.

"Thank you." I breathed into her as she held me back, tightening her hold on my waist.

"Taylor's in her room and Alec's in the playroom so we have like 10 minutes to make out or cuddle. You choose."

I smirked against her and moved away before straddling her.

"Making out. I can't get enough of these." I said in a low voice as my thumb traced her soft and plump bottom lip."

I leaned foward and connected our lips, moaning at the feeling.

She bit my bottom lip, gesturing for me to open so she could explore my mouth and God did it feel amazing.

A throat clear behind us caused us to jump apart and look towards Taylor.
