"Taylor. Hii." I left Jessica's lap and walked over to Taylor, enveloping her in a bone crushing hug.

"Hey Andy. Did you hear the news?"

I nodded my head and hugged her tighter.

"Yea. Congratulations, you've always wanted a nice foster family and I've always wanted you to have one. I'm sorry it couldn't be me that took you in."

"It's okay. You'll always be my ma."

"Did you hear our news?" I pulled back, gesturing for Jessica to come to us, holding her hand when she did. Taylor shook her head.

"We're in love and I'm moving in."

"Are you serious?"

We both nodded and my Jess kissed my head. Hold on. She confessed her love but didn't ask me to be her girlfriend?

"Congrats guys. I'm going to go get Alec. I heard him. Then we can eat."

I nodded and dragged Jess back to the couch.

"What did you and Alec talk about?"

"Nothing really. I told him that if he's curious to look at something he can, he should just be careful but if it breaks that's okay because most tangible items are replaceable."

"Well it's your house so I can't say anything." she was playing with the my hands, rubbing circles around them.

"He's your son baby. Is that okay? That I told him that?"

I quickly nodded my head.

"Yes. I've never thought of it like that. But it's good in a way because now if something does break, he'll talk, not lie about it."

"Yes. Cuddle me for a bit?" I didn't say anything, I just shifted my position a little so that my head was on her chest and I wrapped my arms around her.

"It's weird and amazing, especially since we've been seeing each other for less than a week, but being in your arms and near you feels like home."

"I know the feeling my love."

"You aren't allowed to call me that." I said, referring to the possessive pronoun.

"What? Why?"

"Because I'm not yours yet."

Before she could respond, we heard running and a loud thud before Alec screaming.

My motherly instincts kicked in and I sprinted to my baby.

"Baby? Are you okay? Talk to mommy. What hurts?"

He was full on crying but managed to point to his arm which looked broken.

"Ssssh mommy's here." I rocked him in my arms, kissing his head every now and then. "We need to go to a hospital."

Jess nodded yelled for Taylor. I grabbed my phone and wallet as Jess picked Alec up and sat him in the back seat of the car, me getting in next to him and Taylor sitting in front.

After a 10 minute drive, we parked infront of one of the private hospitals and I knew I would never be able to afford it but that's a later problem. Right now Alec needs a doctor.

"We're here bud."

He was still crying but nodded his head.

Jess found a parking right outside the emergency entrance so she parked and picked Alec up while I stayed extremely close to them with Taylor.

When we settled into a room and were waiting for a doctor, I pulled Jess aside.

"I really appreciate you bringing us here but this is going to be way to expensive for me."

What if I can't cover his bills? What if he needs surgery? I'll have to take out a loan and be in debt for God knows how long.

With eveything going on, me stressing over bills and my son being hurt, I started crying and felt Jess pull me into her strong arms.

"Ssssh my love. I told you. As long as I'm in your life, you will never have to worry about money again and I know we said no spending money on you unless you ask but please let me cover the costs of today."

"I have to make a call. Excuse me."

She leaned in and whispered in my ear.

"I love you. I'll stay with him. Take as long as you need."

"I love you back."

I walked over to Alec who was passed out with his hand wrapped. He needed to be calmed down so they medicated him.

I kissed his head and grabbed my phone before stepping out and calling Alice.

"Hi baby. Didn't expect to hear from you so soon."

"Alec's in the hospital. Can you please come? Bring Ma. I need you guys."

"Send the number and go be with him."

"I love you."

"We love you too. See you soon."

I walked back in just as the doctor walked in.

"Hi everyone, I'm Dr. Robbins. I'm the going to be the primary doctor."

"Hi I'm Andy. That's Taylor and Jess."

"Nice to meet you all. So I see we haven't gotten any scans done so we're going to go ahead and get that done. Someone will be here shortly for that and I'll be back once I've had a chance to review them. Settle in folks. It's going to be a long night."

She left, and not even 5 minutes later someone was taking Alec for his x-ray. Taylor was on her phone in one corner and I was in Jessica's arms as she whispered that everything's going to be okay. I nodded and muffled further into her and see tightened her arms around me.

We heard a knock at the door before it opened and revealed Alice and Dana. I bolted up from Jessica's lap and into their arms. Jess left the room and it seemed a little rude.

"Where's our boy and who's this fine young lady?"

"Yea gone for an x-ray and this is Taylor. Jess is fostering her."

"The woman who's lap you were sitting on?"

I blushed as I nodded my head to Dana's question.

"Well she's just disappeared, how rude."

"I'm sorry about that. I went to find some chairs and give you guys some privacy."

I turned and saw Jess holding an arm chair with 2 guys each holding one behind her.

"I'm sorry if I seemed rude ma'am. I'm Jessica Chase."

She sat the chair down and extended her arm.

Alice scowled at her but Dana hit her and took her hand.

"I'm Dana. This rude thing is my wife, Alice. It's nice to meet you."

"It's good to meet you too. Uh I wanted to thank you for the invite on Sunday."

"It's no problem. We wanted to meet the girl who has our Andy smitten."

She blushed and looked down, before looking over at Taylor who cleared her throat.

"Can I talk to you please?"

Jess nodded and walked over to her. They spoke in quiet while I talked to my mums who were now sitting down.

Jess came back over to us and kneeled infront of me.

"Hey babe will you stay here? If they need anything call me I have to go out."

Out of the corner of my eye I saw Alice roll her eyes.

"Everything good? Something wrong with Tay?"

"Yes and no? We're all hungry and Taylor just got her period so I'm going to make a run to a McDonald's and a store to get her some stuff."

Dana put her hand on Jessica's shoulder.

"Stay hun, we'll go. Pads? Tampons?"

"Are you sure? I mean I can go and you can stay with Alec and Andy."

"Pads or tampons?"

"Pads. And some new underwear and comfortable pants if you can. And also some pain tablets and chocolate? And then just get a anything for me and nuggets for Andy and Taylor. And then whatever you guys want. Here's my card."

She handed them one of her cards and they refused it until she said she'd give them the cash when they walked in if they didn't take it so they took it and left.

After waiting a little longer Alec finally came back and was awake but not in any pain.

Dr Robbins came in and her face didn't look good.

"Let's go outside to talk."
