Third Person POV [Don't forget to vote!]

"Do you think Blake will like me better in this Red dress or the velvet blue one?!" Khrysie showed her fellow cheerleaders the picture of her dresses on her phone.

"Aren't they the same?" Hailey one of the juniors asked.

Khrysie glared at her. "Hailey darling seriously, you're not helping."

Suddenly the doors of the gym opened and in came Nile walking with heavy feet as if she's woken up at the wrong side of the bed. She sat beside Khrysie with her arms crossed.

Khrysie turned to her. "What's wrong hun?"

"Ram!" Nile complained. "He escaped the campus again, only the gods know where he's been going every time he leaves." She said with frustration.

Khrysie joined her in ranting while the other cheerleaders all agreed with them. They are the Eres cheerleaders, only the tallest, slimmest and prettiest girls gets accepted in the squad, their squad is also known to always win the sport tournaments with other schools, in other words they carry the title of all time champions.

The door opened once again making all the cheerleaders eyes turn to it. They all turned quiet.

"Lonnie! Come here!" Khrysie broke the silence and gestured Bellona to come to them.

She stroded towards them, even by just walking can make her ever intimidating. Her face was like a goddess, no flaw can be found.

Khrysie clung to her arm. "Why are you late?"

"Council meeting."

"Oh." Khrysie nodded. "Soo we planned of going shopping later." She giggled.

"We did?" Isabel asked.

"Whatever Belly, now as I was saying, I need to buy some clothes for the after party at the end of the tournament."

Bellona crossed her arms. "The tournament isn't yet starting."

"But it's best to be prepared." Khrysie clung to her arm again and pouted. She nudged Nile and Diana to help her out.

"Please." Diana said. "I also need to buy something for Aiden, I want to give him a present when he wins." She giggled.

Bellona raised her eyebrow to Diana. "Aren't you yet over your 6 year crush on Aiden?"

"Never, I shall wait till Aiden will reciprocate his feelings for me." Diana blushed at the thought.

What does this british girl love about Aiden Wyatt? Bellona thought to herself.

"But that Paige girl keeps sticking to him!" Diana complained. "And do you guys see how my Aiden looks at that Paige? Ugh!" She crossed her arms.

Khrysie added. "Wait did you girls also notice how that Paige keeps following my Blake?!"

"She sounds like a slut." One of the cheerleaders said.

"Absolutely!" Khrysie exclaimed. "And you Nile." She pointed to Nile. "Do you not see how close she is to Ram?"

"She is?" Nile scrunched her eyebrows confused.

Bellona rolled her eyes, getting annoyed by her friends drama sessions.

"How about you Lonnie." Khrysie faced her, the rest of the squad did the same.

"What about me?" Bellona raised her eyebrow.

"I see her with your fiancee' from time to time." Khrysie crossed her arms. "Don't you see what that commoner is doing?"

Everyone started mumbling.

Diana started. "If I only knew that Aiden was interested with commoners who are short, blonde and next door neighbor, then I should've moved to his village and live next to his house so that he would look at me the same way."

"Are they next door neighbrs?" Hailey asked.

"I thought they were friends?" Isabel wondered.

"Should we tell Eloise to spy on her? Nile suggested. "I heard they're both in the track team."

"I mean she isn't even that pretty, why would Aiden like her?" Diana complained.

"I think I saw her one time with Kile Astley in the supermar-"

"Enough!" Bellona shouted making everyone quiet. "Let's start training."

"Whatever you say Lonnie." Khrysie stood up. " Anyways My 10 year crush for Blake shall not fade" Khrysie smiled and the cheerleaders oohed. "And you." She faced Bellona. "Aren't you gonna get your fiancée something when the soccer team wins?"

Bellona didn't answer. "Fine we can go shopping after training."

The girls squealed. "Now lets start!" Bellona said with an authoritative voice, As the head cheerleader she must discipline her squad.

Paige

All the students were called at school before we train for a half day of classes to keep up with our academics and so that we could see the schedule of the games next week. I walked through the hallway with Blake. He seemed very determined to start his training.

I felt my shoulder numb since my gym bag's quite heavy but I didn't say a thing. A woman doesn't need a man to help at every time a burden comes in life. A woman can stand on her own. I laughed within at the quote I just made.

I noticed Blake's eyes on me. I turned to him and found him starring at my bag.

"Is it heavy?" His question seemed caring but his voice sounded like he demanded an answer.

"I can handle heavy." I smiled at him and continued walking. Why would he care?

We walked going to our classroom. My eyes widened when I felt the sling of my bag slip off my shoulder and out of my arm. Why do people always get my things without my permission?!

I frowned and faced Blake but I got shocked when I saw Aiden behind me giving me his playful grin.

"Hey Peggy!" He brushed my head.

I glared at him and punched his shoulder but he just laughed. Blake just stood there watching us.

I tried getting my bag back but Aiden went walking ahead of us with my bag slung on his shoulder.

"Hey Puppy." Blake said.

I turned to him expecting him to say something but instead he threw his gym bag into my arms. "What on earth?!"

"I know you can handle heavy." He smirked and walked past me.

And here I am walking with his huge and heavy gym bag. The nerve that Blake!

"Great job Bennet!" Coach complimented me. The classes went in a flash and trainings started.

I smiled. "Thank you coach."

I owe this to Aiden, if he didn't make me run after him every summer back when we were kids, then maybe I wouldn't have this speed.

I walked to the side benches where my other teammates are. Ella, Our captain held a clipboard.

"What's this about?" I wondered.

"Our competitors." Ella said.

"We have opponents from Beltane, Angeles and Brayntler, the top schools of the country, Beltane would be a challenge they've got Gwendolyn, she's hella fast."

"Who's gonna race with her?" a junior asked.

"Me." Ruby grinned.

The captain read her clipboard and told us how long should we run and who our opponents are. "Paige, you're on the 200 meter run, same as you Eloise." Ruby said. "You two will race last."

I nodded.

We trained the for the rest of the day and I got exhausted. I took a shower before I left the field.

I walked to the football field and searched for Blake amongst the football players. It's hard to identify especially when they all have caps on. I checked my watch. What time will Blake's training finish?

"What are you doing here?" Eloise questioned as she walked past me.

"I'm waiting for someone." I smiled.

She eyed me then smiled back and left. I'm sure she's going to tell her group of friends especially that Russian doll Khrysie.

I looked back at the players. Where's Blake?

"Hi there are you Paige? Captain's Puppy?" A junior football player approached me and asked.

I wanted to roll my eyes or glare but I didn't want to scare him so I just smiled. "Where is the Jerk?" We planned to go to his villa for dinner with Kile and Ram, tomorrow will be with my friends.

The junior gulped. "He tasked me to tell you that he won't get to pick you up, he has something urgent to attend to."

Wow what could be so urgent for him to not get to tell me himself?! "Ok tell your captain tha-."

"He said someone else will pick you up and take you to his villa." He added.

Someone else? "Who?"

"Me." A low voice from behind me said.

I turned around and there stood Kile, he was wearing a white v neck tshirt and shorts, he looks fresh from the shower. Looks like he's been soccer training because he's holding a soccer ball in one arm.

I raised my eyebrow at him.

"Ok I'm gonna go now." The junior said and left. I turned to Kile.

"C'mon." He said. I followed him to his car in the parking lot.

The scent of his car is already familiar to me, probably because I've already been here. "Where's the jerk?" I asked about Blake.

"He had to attend to an emergency." Kile turned to me. "Seatbelts."

I wore the seatbelt he started to drive.

His car has it's own artificial intelligence like Blake's motor bike.

We were silent. I kept my eyes on the window and viewed the landscapes of the campus. I turned to him.

"Could I play music?"

He eyed me then pressed a button on the controls, suddenly the AI spoke to me.

[Hello there, what music may I interest you with?] The girls AI voice said.

"Pick anything you want Kile said and kept his eye on the road."

I picked my choice of music and it started to play.

"Where are we going?" I turned to him.

He kept his eyes on the road. "The villa, Ram's grilling barbeque."

I nodded. Suddenly his phone rang. He checked the caller then immediately answered it.

"Hey!" His voice instantly changed from cold to warm and gentle. I wonder who he's talking to.

"I'm on my way to the villa." He continued. "I'm not that busy. You want me to pick you up? No it's ok I have time. Bye." He ended the call then faced me.

"You don't mind if we turn around, I have to fetch someone but it won't be that far."

I raised my eyebrow. "Ok."

He turned the car around and we headed towards a different direction. I can't help but wonder who he's about to fetch. I smiled at the way his voice changed when he's talking to that person, he isn't all stone cold after all.

We drove through the trees until we got to the oval of flags.

"Who are we going to fetch?" I can't help but ask.

He didn't answer and kept focused on driving.

I crossed my arms. "Is it Bellona?"

He raised his eyebrow at me.

"Whatever. Who else would it be?"

He chuckled. "I'm going to fetch my sister."

My eyes widened. He actually has a sister?! Then it came to me, I almost forgot that the royal family has two children.

Just then the car approached the gates to the junior school which had two buildings. The high school department and elementary. He parked his car in the parking lot. The junior school was the first building I saw when I came here, it looks breathtaking aswell.

Highschool students filled the parking lot, their uniform's quite similar to ours but with some slight changes.

Suddenly a high school student came towards us and waved. She looked like a teenager, probably 15? She's just about my height, she was slim, she had straight brown hair that was below her shoulders, she had sky blue eyes just like Kile, plump lips, almond shaped eyes and sharp nose, she's like the girl version of Kile, only she had a charming smile written on her lips. I've never seen the country's princess up close. The royal family only exposes Kile, she's rarely seen, probably because she's just a minor and they value her privacy. I wouldn't blame them, Once you're a royal, you'll be the talk of the world.

She came to the car. I thought she was gonna ride in the back but she suddenly opened my door.

"Ki-" Her eyes widened when she saw me, shock was plastered on her face.

She looked at Kile as if asking for why I was here.

"Kadi, this is Paige." Kile introduced me.

"Hello your highness." I tried to sound jolly. "Paige." I gave out my hand.

She gave me a small smile and politely took it. "Kandice Astley."

She took back her hand and eyed both of us. "Are you-uh together?" She sounded like she wanted to ask that question since a while ago.

My eyes widened. "What? No!"

She seemed taken aback by my sudden raise of voice so I just laughed it off.

"I'm just taking her to the villa now get on." His voice sounded calm and caring. Extremely far from the Kile I know.

"Do you want to sit here?" I offered the shotgun seat, before she could say anything else I got out of the seat and went in the back. She didn't have any choice but to take my seat and Kile drove out of the school.

"Where will I drop you off?" Kile asked Kadi.

"The mall, I'm going to eat dinner with my friends."

Kile raised his eyebrow. "Are there boys?"

Kadi's eyes widened. "Just two, we have a group activity."

Kile didn't look pleased.

"But Grace and Mary would be there." Kadi added.

"Make sure you're at your dorm by 8." Kile said in an calm authorative voice.

Kadi rolled her eyes. "Fine!"

Seeing how Kile is so protective and caring to his sister makes me smile. He may not be like this to others including me but seeing this side of him towards his family makes me see who he really is. He has warmth after all.

After we brought Kadi to the mall, Kile drove back to the villa. Only then did I realize how hungry I am.

I laughed while he parked the car.

"What's so funny?" He raised his eyebrow.

"So you have a warm spot huh?" I teased.

"Lets just go." He opened his door and I followed.

When we got closer to the villa, I could see the smoke from the beach side. Probably Ram still grilling the barbeque. I spotted Blake's car at the other side of the villa, he's probably at the small greenhouse.

Kile and I walked around the villa to the beachside. The beach looked so lovely and the water reflected the beautiful golden sunset. It reminded me of Aiden, sunsets do, it'll always do.

I was right there was Ram in a tshirt and broad shorts grilling barbeque. The aroma smelled wonderful making my tummy grumble.

"You two are just in time." Ram pointed to us. "I just finished, the maids will set up our table." He happily said. When is he not happy?

Kile helped Ram get the barbeque and placed them on the plates. "Where's Blake?" Kile asked.

"Oh yeah, he's at the greenhouse I think." Ram scratched his head. "Paige can you get him?"

I honestly didn't want to but there's nothing I can do to help them. "Alright." I walked back inside the villa passing by their infinity pool. The villa was empty but I could hear the maids cooking something in the kitchen. I walked past the huge living room but stopped when a picture frame on the side table caught my eye.

In the picture were three boys and a girl, they all were wearing cute formal attires. One of them was probably Ram, he was brown skinned and was wearing a cute tux with a huge smile on his face while he had his shoulders over the other two boys on his both sides. The other one looks like Kile, he looked cute because his attire was formal but he was sucking on a lollipop. The other boy caught my attention, his hair was shaggy and covered his forehead, his attire is just as formal as the other two but he was crying and holding a milk bottle in one hand. O my God! Is this Blake?! I bit my lips to stiffle my laugh.

The girl beside Kile looked familiar aswell, she was wearing a purple dress and her hair in pig tails, she looked like a goddess for a 4 year old. There was a small smile on her lips but it wasn't genuine like Ram's. She's probably irritated by the three of them.

I left the picture frame and headed for the main door to find Blake outside. I wonder what on earth is he doing. I held the doorknob when suddenly the doorbell rang. I opened the door and My eyes widened.

There before me was Bellona. She was wearing her cheerleading uniform covered in a matching jacket. Her hair was tied in a high ponytail and her grey intimidating eyes pierced into mine, as if questioning my presence.

"Why are you here?" She raised an eyebrow at me.

"Uh-mm." I straightened my posture because her height and presence was really intimidating me. Her aura screamed power and elegance. "Blake brings me here, how about you?" I tried to sound elegant aswell but it didn't somehow work.

"This is my villa." She said and then it hit me. She must be the girl in the picture frame a while ago, no wonder she looked familiar. And this villa isn't just the boys, it must be hers too, that explains the small couch set in the man cave. Her face ever emotionless, and her eyes pierced into mine as if challenging me.

"Bella is that you?"

We both turned to Ram who was behind me. He seemed shocked to see her here.

Bellona gave him a death glare. "Oh! It is you hehe." Ram laughed. "So you've met Paige."

"Yes I have." I rarely hear her talk but when she does I get goosebumps. "So you've invited me for dinner?" She questioned Ram.

"Yeah I did, I want you to taste my new and improved barbeque." Ram smiled proudly but when he realized the awkward tension between me and Bellona he laughed again. "You should get inside Bella, your fiancée's in there."

"I'll go get Blake." I said a hurried off to the greenhouse, another second with her would make me crumble.

I entered the greenhouse, I was expecting to see Blake but instead I found a girl laying down on a bench. I recognized her from my track team, she's in my year. She had short dark hair that's above her shoulder. She had thick cat eye rimmed glasses and she was snuggled on the bench reading a book. Her face was charming and innocent.

"Lucy?" I recalled her name.

She sat up from the bench and faced me. "H-hi Paige." She really is shy like in track training.

"What bring you here?" I wondered.

"Oh-uh Boss allows me to read here when I want to." She said shyly.

"Boss?" I asked.

"Anyways I'll get going nice to see you Paige." She stood up and headed for the door. "Bye! See you at training."

I walked after her outside but she was already gone. "Weird." I mumbled under my breathe.

"Who's weird?"

I jumped from my place when I heard a voice to my right. I faced the right and saw Blake. Finally he showed up.

"Where've you been?!" I sound annoyed, I haven't seen him this whole afternoon.

"Lets go eat dinner." He didn't answer my question and dragged me going inside.

Ram, Kile, and Bellona were already seated at the dining table. They were talking till Ram spotted us. "Finally you two decided to show up, I'm starving!"

I took a seat and Blake sat beside me. Across us were Kile and Bellona while Ram sat in the middle seat.

The maids entered and served us each a plate with Ram's barbeque only now it had some vegetables on the side and some other side dishes. Bellona was served with a greenish drink that I couldn't make out of.

"For you ma'am." The maid handed her the drink, curtsied and left.

"Wait! before anyone tries it I want Bella to try it first so that she can critic it." Ram said.

"Is that necessary?" Blake said annoyed.

"Of cour-"

"Don't raise your voice Ram." Bellona said with authority stopping Ram from raising his voice. She didn't even shout but her voice was scary, Ram looked scared. "Why are you so into cooking now?"

Ram gave a sly smile but didn't answer.

Bellona elegantly held her utensils and took a bite from the barbeque. Ram was trying his best not to lean forward to see her reaction.

"How is it Madam?" He asked teasingly.

Bellona chewed it and looked back at her plate. All of us were already looking at her waiting for her reaction.

"It's better than last time." She said and continued eating.

"What? That's all you have to say?!" Ram slumped disappointedly. Bellona ignored him and continued eating, while the rest of us ate aswell. In fairness Ram is a good cook for a Prince. I'll give him that.

I noticed buster his dog on the side of the dining but I didn't mind him. I continued eating.

"How's the football team Blake?" Bellona asked.

Blake answered ."We're ok."

"Are you guys ready to defeat the squires of Excalibur?" Squires are what you call the students studying to be a knight.

"We're doing our best." Blake took a sip on his glass.

Ram joined the conversation. "Well the basketball team's doing great, because they have a very handsome captain." Ram smiled.

"Really I've never heard of him." Bellona said and continued eating.

"Ugh! It's me!" Ram pointed to himself.

Bellona raised her eyebrow. "Hope that that captain doesn't get himself injured like last year." She sipped from her cup.

"Hey." Ram's eyes widened. "It was the Knight's fault!"

"That would be a big turn off for your flings." Blake added making Kile laugh.

I almost choked on my food. I forgot that this jolly egyptian Prince is also a master playboy.

"Your mother and sister will get hysterical when they see you slide through the court like last year." Kile added making everyone laugh except for Ram.

"hahaha very funny." Ram sarcastically said and crossed his arms. "How come you guys only laugh when I'm the one you're ganging up on!?"

"We're at the table Ram, tone down your voice." Bellona reminded. She's like a mother.

"Well how's the cheer squad Bella?" Ram asked.

"We're going to win as usual." She turned to Kile then faced her plate again.

"It's a good thing you're here Bella, now you can finally meet Paige, Blake's target slash puppy." Ram introduced me.

I glared at him and he laughed.

"We already met." Bellona eyed me then looked back at her food.

"Where were you when I invited you?" Ram wondered.

"I was shopping with the girls, they actually said that they'd follow when they finish paying the clothes they bought." Bellona peeked at Blake.

Suddenly the doorbell rang. "That must be them." She said.

"You invited them?" Ram was shocked.

"They insisted."

"Sorry Paige." Ram faced me. "This place is going to get noisy."

What does he mean?

"Lonnie!" A high pitched voice filled the villa. And in came Nile, the brown skinned Princess of a country I'm not sure of and the Russian brat Khrysie.

She entered the dinning with a smile but when her eyes landed on me it turned into a frown. "Why is she here?" She pointed at me.

"I brought her here." Blake said.

I frowned and faced him. "You did not." I whispered.

"I tasked Kile to bring you here so same difference." He whispered back.

Khrysie rolled her eyes at me and greeted the others, her voice became flirty when she greeted Blake.

Nile sat beside Bellona. I couldn't get my eyes off her. She looks extremely familiar.

"Paige, this is Khrysie of Russia." Ram did the introduction, even if I already knew her. "Have you two met?" He wondered.

All the time! I just smiled and Khrysie didn't mind me.

Ram turned to Nile. "And this is Nile." He took a sip from his glass.

"Your girlfriend?" I wondered.

Ram's eyes widened and he immediately choked on his drink. I got surprised when Blake and Kile started laughing.

"Yuck! That's incest!" Nile exclaimed.

"Wait, you're related?"

"They're twins Puppy." Blake said as if it was obvious.

Then it hit me, No wonder Nile looked awfully familiar, I recognize Ram whenever I look at her. Why did I think that she was his girlfriend? Stupid me!

Ram composed himself. "Lets just play billiards."

"Again?" Kile said.

"We can just hang out in the couch." Nile said. Everyone stood up and headed for the Man cave.

The girls went in first. They seem to have spent a lot of time here to be so familiar with everything. Kile walked behind Bellona and Ram followed. Blake walked behind me.

The girls headed to the couch set. I'm not close with any of them so it'd be extremely awkward. I guess I'll just stay with the boys.

Suddenly Ram took my hand and pulled me to the girls before I could hesitate we were already there.

"Ladies." Ram called their attention. "I'll leave Paige with you three, be nice!" He eyed his sister then left back to the billiards table. Ugh! I'd rather play billiards than be with these royals especially Russian doll.

The three of them eyed me. "Sit." Bellona pointed to an empty sofa.

Wow is she treating me like a dog too?!

I took a seat. The awkward atmosphere filled in.

"So Paige." The Russian doll started. "I assumed you are close with Blake but I never assumed you were this close that he'd let you in their villa." She crossed her legs.

"We're not close." I said and crossed my arms. I'm just telling the truth.

"Then what's your connection with her brother." She pointed to Nile. "And her fiancée?" She pointed to Bellona.

"No idea." I said the truth, I seemed to hang out just fine with Kile and Ram but am I already a friend to them?

"Ugh! I'll just get to the point." She seemed stressed.

"Calm down Khrysie." Nile patted her back.

"I'm calm, hun." Khrysie faced me again. "Listen pip squeak, I've liked Blake for 10 years and there's nothing a commoner like you can do to break our relationship.

I believe she's nuts because I have no idea bout what she's talking about. I straightened my posture. "There's nothing between us." But if there is then it's non of your business! I kept it to myself.

"Then you better make sure it stays that way." Khrysie leaned on the couch, she brought her eyes to the boys playing billiards.

"Hey girls! Wanna join?" Ram called us.

Khrysie smiled probably because she'll get to be near Blake. "C'mon Lonnie." She pulled Bellona up from her chair and the three of the including Nile walked towards the billiards table. I silently followed.

Nile went beside Ram, Bellona went beside Kile and Khrysie was like a magnet to Blake.

"Lets start?" Ram asked.

"Wait there should be a challenge." Khrysie added. "Whoever loses needs to do a dare, the winner gives the dare."

Blake's eyes immediately widened. "Why should there be a dare?"

"Because I want to."

"fine, fine whatever." Ram gave us each a pole. "Lets start."

The boys went first, they were all so good, now it's the girls turn. Bellona didn't want to join so a maid brought her a couch so that she could watch us, Nile played and didn't really hit that much balls but she still did ok.

"My turn." Khrysie moved Nile out of the way, she angled herself and hit.

My eyes widened when her ball just bounced and fell to the floor. A laugh escaped my mouth.

"What are you laughing at?!" She turned to me and crossed her arms. "you laugh as if you can do better."

Oh yes honey, I can do better.

She handed me her pole. "Well lets see what you've got."

Oh yes I will.

I was about to angle myself when Blake held my arm stopping me. "Don't do this." His voice was authoritative but I heard t a tint of concern in there.

I ignored him and started to angle myself, Blake's eyes watched me.

Ram came closer to me and whispered. "Khrysie gives the hardest dares, best to back out now."

I looked him in the eye. "who said I'm going to get the dare?"

I ignored them and continued angling myself, I held my pole and closed my left eye. The next thing I knew was that I got a ball into the hole, and the others followed.

While each ball went into the hole I could see Khrysie's jaw drop.

When I got all the balls into the hole I faced them, they were all shocked.

"You play?" Kile asked.

"No." I smiled, I looked at the time. Shit it's already 9, I still have to wake up early tomorrow for training. "I need to go now, it's late." I faced Khrysie. "Oh yes! I should give you a dare." I smiled at her.

She glared at me.

I thought of the best dare I could think of then it hit me. "I dare you to date Ned Hamilton." I smiled without giving her an explanation. "One date." It was the best I could think of, I noticed that Ned didn't have any friends and this girls seems to have a lot so why don't I put them together.

Khrysie seem like she wanted to strangle me but Bellona spoke.

"We should get going too." Bellona got her sling bag. " I've got my driver waiting for me outside."

"We'll be staying here for the night." Kile said.

"Ram, mom told me to give you the new clothes she's sent you, it's in my dorm." Nile said.

Ram frowned. "So do I need to send you there?"

Nile nodded.

"Ugh!" Ram, complained but followed her out the door and waved us goodbye.

Khrysie turned to Blake. "Can you send me to my dorm?" She pouted.

Wow ok, go and send her to her dorm Blake! I pulled out my phone. Maybe I should ask Aiden to fetch me.

"No Khrysie." Blake said making me look up at him.

"W-why?" Disappointment filled her face.

"Just go with Bellona, she's your roommate." He placed his hands in his pocket. "I need to send her home." He pointed to me.

I didn't know what I was doing but I smiled at Khrysie making her look annoyed. Before she could say anything Blake pulled my arm and bringing me out the man cave. "Lets go." He said.

The week went by quickly and everyday I get more and more tired of training. Before I knew it, the tournament came.

"I can't wait to see the Knights, they're so hot!" Aicko squealed as she tied her hair infront of the mirror. Today we woke up early to gather at the school and greet the players from other schools. The Tournament week is the only week when the Academy opens up to the public, letting school players in and letting students from outside schools watch the games. Many people enter because of the many royals and famous people in here, but because of many people, the security tightens.

The track and field games would be ongoing for the whole week, just so happens that the we have a game today so of course I prepared. I'm wearing our jersey which had Eres Falcons on it, and my running shorts and shoes. The track and field will be the first sport of the day, and I'm already getting nervous that my hands are sweating. It's gross I know.

"Faster girls if we wanna catch the knight's entrance!" Shari stormed in the room already wearing her table tennis uniform.

We picked up our equipment and rode Aicko's car to the sports fields, there will be a parade before the entrance of the other schools so we positioned ourselves on top of the bleachers in the soccer field where the Dean will welcome the other school players.

It was still dawn and the sports fields are filled with many people, all excited to see the other school players, others are nervous while a big majority are excited to see the so called handsome knights. I spotted the cheerleaders ready in their position.

Aicko handed me and Shari dark blue scarfs that we wore on our wrist. The color's dark blue to represent our school's color. Aicko wore a blue sports headband. She really is a fashion expert.

"Lets get drinks." Shari said. The three of us went to the food stands on the side of the fields. Aicko said that the food stands only comes when the tournament week arrives. I got a drink and so did Aicko and Shari.

"Hey!" Ram happily greeted me when we crossed ways. Kile nodded at me from behind. They were both in their dark blue uniforms aswell. I couldn't deny it they both look hot.

I looked behind them. "Where's the Jerk?"

Ram laughed. "He wont get to watch the welcoming ceremony or the track race, he's busy with the football team."

"Oh." was all that came out of my mouth.

"Anyways goodluck to your race, we'll be watching." Ram said and they both left.

I sighed and ran back to Aicko and Shari. I got surprised when they were both holding blue balloons. Aicko handed me one.

"Wave them when you see the knights." She giggled.

Isn't blue our school color?

Soon the parade started and the band music played and in came the other schools, our schoolmates cheered as unfamiliar students with different jerseys came walking inside the sports fields. But the crowd went wild when a huge group of boys in their Black jerseys came walking in with the banner saying. Excalibur Knights.

I looked at them and everyone was right, the knights were indeed a whole new level of handsome, they were all built, tall, muscular and lean. Probably because they're being injected with serums that makes them stronger and more resilient. Aicko and Shari were screaming their lungs out when one of the knights waved at our direction. The other school players entered and I've never seen this many people at this school before, it's amazing how they come together.

When everyone was in, the dean started a welcoming and opening speech.

"Let the games begin." She ended her speech. Everyone roared.

That's when I started to shake, track and field is the first game. Shit!

Suddenly the speakers called. "All track players please proceed to the track field now, again all players please proceed to the track field now."

My heart started beating out my chest of nervousness.

"Go Paige!" Aicko cheered. When they realized that I wasn't going to move she and Shari pulled me going to the track field.

"Paige!" Ella the team captain called me and signaled me to the locker rooms.

"Goodluck!" Shari and Aicko hugged me. "We'll be at the stands cheering for you!" I waved them goodbye and ran to the track locker rooms. There were many people filling the stands to watch the race. The cheerleaders entered in their costumes and pompoms already in their position. I turned to the stands and spotted Ram and Kile. I turned to my side and bumped someone's chest. I frowned at the person.

"Did you meant to do that?!"

Aiden laughed and cupped my cheeks. "Loosen up Peggy."

"Whatever." I rolled my eyes.

"Hey." He held my chin. "You got this." He winked at me and left to the stands.

I ran to the locker rooms to get ready. I wore my team jersey and tied my hair in a high ponytail.

"Loosen those nerves!" Coach said.

I turned to Eloise who seemed to be pretty calm while leaning on a locker. "Nervous?" She asked me.

I nodded.

She chuckled. "I am too."

"Ok Ella you're up first." Coach looked at his clipboard. Ella, our fastest runner went out and the crowd went wild. The races started and the whole field was filled with cheers and screams. I love how supportive the school's are.

We all watched as Ella ran and eventually won in the end making me scream my lungs out. Hopefully to loosen my nerves.

I continued to watch my teammates leave one by one and start running till it was only me and Eloise left in the locker room.

"Eloise your turn!" Coach called .

"Goodluck." I smiled at her.

She smiled back and left. Now It's only me left and I can feel myself shaking. I've never played a sport before, and I'm not used to this many people.

I didn't get to watch her because I'm too nervous now I feel I'm going to throw up.

A little later Coach came back inside and faced me. "You're up Bennet." He patted my back. "Bring home the bacon." Coach left the locker room.

I took a deep breathe and forced myself to stand and walk towards the door. Every step became heavier and heavier.

"Hey!"

I jumped from my stance when someone called. I turned around surprised to see Blake running from the other side of the locker room, he was already wearing his uniform. When he got closer I realized that he was out of breathe and sweating as if he ran a long way.

"W-what?" I stuttered.

He was now standing infront of me, my chin was at the level of his chest.

"Y-you didn't tell me that you were going to play." He was still out of breathe.

"Why would you care?" I raised my eyebrow at him.

"Paige!" Coach called from outside.

"Beltane is your big competition." Blake added.

"Do you think I don't know that?"

"Are you any match for them?" He crossed his arms.

"Are you here to lower my self esteem?!" what an asshole!

"No!" He raised his voice. "They could leave you in the dust."

"Well then do you want me to quit?!" I glared at him. "Sorry but it's too late for that." I turned my back on him and headed for the door. I can't believe that he ran all the way here just to tell me that I'm no good and I have to quit.

I was about to leave the door when he pulled my arm making me face him. "I'm not telling you quit the race." His voice was low and authoritative.

He tightened his grip on my hand. "I'm telling you to win it."
