What the hell?!

I took a step away from Kevin giving us space in between. As much as I want to punch this lunatic's face, my attention wasn't on him. It was at the man infront.

Blake's stare was cold and dark. I knew that deep down something was boiling. What is he doing here?! Mustn't he be at the other side of the country? I saw him on social media. He was in California the other night.

I blinked again to make sure. He's really here.

There was huge tension while Blake kept his eyes on Kevin. Kevin just like a lunatic stared back.

"State your business." Kevin folded his arms. Did he just copy Aicko's words this morning?!

I needed to do something. But my brain wouldn't function properly at the moment.

"Darling do you know him?" Kevin folded his arms.

"Uhm yeah." I stuttered unsure of the words that came out of my mouth.

"She's my puppy." Blake said. My brows scrunched at what he said. Kevin's eyes furrowed at Blake's words but he brushed the thought away.

My eyes widened when Blake turned to me. "How are you puppy?"

I was about to call him Jerk when Kevin immediately took a step forward. "Who are you to call her puppy?" He was closer to Blake now.

My heart started beating fast, I don't want them to fight, knowing Blake and how reckless he is.

"Maybe I should ask you the same question." Blake took a step forward as well now he was face to face with Kevin.

Kevin scoffed. "I'm her boyfriend." He said proudly. "What about you?"

I immediately frowned. What the hell?! This guy's such a lunatic.

My eyes widened when Blake took a step closer to Kevin showing how much he towered him. "I'm her-" He stopped.

My heart kept beating. I watched as his brows arched and his eyes searched for an answer, but I know he wouldn't find it. As of now we are nothing.

Blake's shoulders slumped and he heaved a sigh before taking a step back.

Kevin chuckled. "You're one of the boys from Eres aren't you?" He eyed Blake from head to toe. "It's pretty obvious, you look expensive." He laughed.

My heart started racing. I know where this will lead to. I took a step closer to the both of them, I stood beside Kevin while Blake stood infront of us.

"You dirty rich people who don't know anything but to spend your precious money." Kevin chuckled. "All you guys are selfish jerks, spending your money for your luxuries ."

I started to get anxious when I saw Blake's brows arch. Kevin doesn't know who he's messing with.

"You rich people don't know anything but to spend money." Kevin rolled his eyes. "No wonder you're all so stupid, while you guys spend time with your wealth, we ordinary people work hard for what we have."

"Kevin stop." I ordered.

Amidst the cold, I felt Blake's anger boiling. I thought he was going to burst out but surprisingly he didn't, he just stayed quiet while locking his eyes on Kevin the lunatic.

"Hard work." Kevin chuckled. "The one thing you elite don't know, because you've spent all your life being spoon-fed."

"You son of a-"

"See!" Kevin laughed. "That spoiled attitude only belongs to selfish people like you."

"Kevin!" I glared at him. I turned to Blake and he was glaring right at Kevin. My heart raced faster when I saw him clench his jaw as he grip his fist.

"What's wrong rich kid?" Kevin asked. "Losing your patience now are we?" He tilted his head. "Well that's ok, you rich people can get away with everything, you can even earn without working hard for anything."

I was about to slap Kevin's face when my eyes suddenly widened when Blake suddenly gripped Kevin by the collar of his sweater. There was raging anger in his eyes.

I was shaking. "S-stop." I whispered.

"You." He clenched his jaw as his grip on Kevin's collar tightened. "Have no idea of what I've worked hard for."

My insides were panicking. What am I going to do? I tried to catch Blake's eyes but he was focused on Kevin. I looked at Kevin and my eyes widened. Shit he's choking him!

I was shaking. "Blake." I whispered.

I thought he didn't hear me but I got shocked when his eyes instantly went to me. Our eyes locked.

Please calm down...please calm down...please calm down.

He took his grip off Kevin making him fall on the snowy ground. I rushed towards him to help. Through my peripheral vision, I could see Blake as he clenched his fist and heave a sigh, but I kept my focus on Kevin as I helped him sit up.

"You were choking him." I said to Blake as I helped Kevin sit up.

"I shouldn't have come." I heard his footsteps trudge through the snow as he walked away. My heart immediately sank as I heard those words.

"Let him be, let's just go back inside." Kevin reached for my hand.

I suddenly felt anger flow through my veins. "No." I firmly said and took off his hold on my hand. "You're not welcomed here anymore." I stood up and brushed the snow off my pants. "Just go home."

I saw as his jaw dropped. Before Kevin could say anything else, I left him on the porch and ran after Blake.

I got shocked to see a gold sport's car parked in front of our house. The person inside rolled down the window. I immediately walked towards the car.

"Where'd he go?" I asked in a hurry.

"Woah Santa Claus!" Ram smiled like a kid. "Where's my present?" Only then did I realize that I was still in my Santa Claus costume.

"Where did he go?" I repeated my question.

"A fight again huh." Ram chuckled. "Oh this couple just can't let a fight pass even on a holiday."

"Ram!"

"Ok, ok," Ram laughed. "He walked right past the car going to the woods." He pointed to the direction. "Follow him, he has no idea about this place, he'll get lost."

I suddenly got worried. I faced Ram. "Thanks, you should come inside, we have food." I offered.

"Gee thanks, I thought you'd never ask." He laughed. "Hey Paige!" He called my attention.

I turned back to him.

"You might wanna change." He laughed. I smiled sarcastically and took off my Santa beard and hat, I took out the pillows and now I'm all in the red Santa coat and pants. This would do.

"Merry Christmas to you too!" He called. I suddenly stopped walkinh and facepalmed my face. I turned back to Ram and bowed. "Your highness." I said before trudhing away again. I heard Ram laugh behind me but I still continued.

I felt cold but I didn't have time to worry about that right now. I walked towards the woods looking for his silhouette. I sighed as I walked through the tall bare trees.

I looked at all the directions hoping that I'd see his figure somewhere, I started to get worried when I found nothing. "I'm telling you Blake Carlisle, if I don't find you right now, I'm gonna call a search party from the police and assume that you were eaten alive by a werewolf." I muttered as I trudged through the snow.

The dark made it even harder for me navigate around the dark woods. The only light visible was from the full moon.

I really will call for a search party! I said in my head. I was about to turn around when I spotted the lake at the other side of the woods beyond a few trees. I wanted to walk back to the house but my instinct told me to check it out. I followed my instinct. I walked towards the lake.

I sighed when I couldn't find any trace of him, My eyes roamed the place as Moonlight from the full moon shined across the frozen lake. It looked beautiful, so picturesque as if I were in a painting.

I heaved a sigh and looked up to the sky as snowflakes fell from the heavens. I reached out my hand as I felt the snowflakes touch my palm.

I hugged myself as I felt the cold winter breeze against my skin.

My eyes widened when a warm winter coat was wrapped around my back. I turned around and looked at the man in front of me and that's when I felt the warmth.

"Do you plan on getting a frostbite?" Blake said sarcastically. He looked as if he was a part of this painting, as snowflakes fell on his dark hair.

I kept silent as I looked at him. He walked beside me to take a look at the lake, not only I was awestruck by this scenery.

We were both silent.

"You didn't tell me that you were coming here." I broke the silence.

"Then it wouldn't be a surprise."

I played with my fingers. "You didn't have to come."

"You told me to find your room." He kept his eyes on the lake. "And so I did."

"Why did you take what I said seriously." I frowned.

He faced me. "Because I take you seriously."

I felt my heart start racing again.

He turned back to the lake.

"Are you mad at me?" He said in a monotonous tone.

I crossed my arms. "Why would I be mad at you?" I raised my brow.

"Sorry." He immediately said.

My brows scrunched. "What for?"

"I lost my temper a while ago." He held the back of his neck. "I couldn't help it."

"But you did." I knew I should be mad at him, but now I just wasn't. "I'm glad you calmed down."

"One look at your eyes is all it takes for me to calm down." He kept his eyes on the lake.

My cheeks started to heat up amidst the cold wind.

"But." He spoke. "Maybe he's right." He sighed. "Maybe I am just a selfish jerk." He chuckled yet I could sense the sarcasm in it clearly.

"That's not true." I said.

"Yeah right." Blake turned to me. "Coming from someone who calls me a Jerk."

I sighed and took a step closer to him. "I might call you that but." I touched his shoulder. "I know you're much more than that."

I felt his shoulders ease at what I said. I was waiting for his answer but he remained silent. I got shocked when he suddenly took a few steps away from me.

"You should get back to your house." He folded his arms. "Your boyfriend might be waiting."

I frowned. Boyfriend? Does he mean Kevin?! What the hell?!

"Kevin's not my boyfriend." I said the truth.

Blake turned to me then looked back at the scenery. I know that he doesn't buy it.

"It's true!" I crossed my arms and stomped my feet. "That guy's a lunatic from grade school who thinks I'm his girlfriend but I most certainly am not." I was about to explain more when I heard Blake chuckle.

I frowned. Doesn't anything I say mean anything to him?!

"Why can't you just listen to me?" I stomped my foot again. "That would be the best Christmas gift."

"Well here's a better Christmas gift." He faced me. "If I were you, you should just leave and not waste your last hours of Christmas with me." He said in a serious tone. "Go back and spend it with the person you like." Once again he looked away.

I didn't know why but I felt my heart drop when he said that. Why is he confusing me? Did he come all the way here just to tell me those words?

A part of me wanted to sadly walk away if that's what he wanted, but the rest of me wouldn't do it.

I can't stop denying what I feel and lying to myself about it. I walked towards him sealing the gap between us. He looked down on me with a questioning look.

"You said your gift for me is to go back to the person I like?"

He looked confused but he nodded.

"Well then I'm not going anywhere." I gave him a small smile. "Because the person I like is right here." I stood on my tippy toes and without warning, I gave him a soft kiss on the cheek.

When I got down I took a glance on his shocked expression before turning my back on him and started to walk away.

As I trudged away, I felt lightness inside me as if a huge burden was lightened. I can't believe I just did that!

I walked back into the entrance of the woods. I suddenly gasped when a hand pulled my waist making me face him. My eyes widened when he stared into mine. "There's something I forgot to say." He said.

"Wh-"

I was cut off when his lips captured mine as he pinned me to the tree trunk to deepen the kiss. My eyes shut close when I encircled my arms on his neck while his arm went around my waist. His other hand held my chin and guided it as he explored the insides of my mouth.

This time I kissed him back as I held on his neck tighter as my means of support. He caressed my cheek before kissing it. I felt my heart beating out of my chest.

He moved my loose strand of hair out of my face and placed it behind my ear. "I missed you." He whispered before kissing me again.

"Oh my God!" Anna, Dell, and Zoe chorused when Blake entered the living room. Shock filled their expression.

"Girls, this is Blake." I introduced him. "Merry Christmas." Blake greeted.

Anna and Dell immediately stood up and approached Blake showering him with questions. Zoe shyly stood behind them. I turned to Aicko and Shari who didn't look even a bit surprised. They both just gave me a teasing look. Ram was just grinning beside Aicko while he watched Blake talk with the girls.

"You're the Blake Carlisle?!" Dell jumped excitedly. "Heir to the Carlisle fortune?"

"The hot Billionaire's son?!" Anna was just as excited.

They gave too much questions that Blake didn't have any time to answer any of them.

While they were busy, I ran upstairs to my room and changed my clothes into a thick light blue fleece sweater and white tights. I tied my hair in a bun and went downstairs, the exact same time when Mom called for dinner.

"Ok that's enough, he'll answer your questions later." I pulled Blake away from them and pulled him towards the dinning room for dinner. Everyone followed.

I made him sit on a chair and he obediently did. Anna walked past me and whispered in my ear. "He's gorgeous." I just smiled and refused to reply.

Ram walked past me and whispered in my ear as well. "You owe me another cake."

I frowned. "Why?"

"Because I answered more questions than any reporter has ever asked me." He said proudly.

I chuckled. For sure the girls showered him with many questions when he knocked on the door. It isn't every day when they meet a Prince.

"Ram." Blake said in a deep voice.

Ram's expression immediately changed. "Kidding." He laughed and looked for a seat.

"Would you want to sit here your highness?" Dell offered her chair.

"You're too kind but Thank you." Ram answered in his most Prince like words and just took a seat beside Aicko. I laughed imagining at what could've been Shari's reaction when Ram showed up.

We started to dig in. Blake was answering questions from Anna and I chatted with Aicko while Ram just like the person he is happily talked with everyone. I looked at an empty seat beside me. He still isn't here.

"Do you have a girlfriend yet your highness?" Mom asked Ram. Wow even she is chit chatting. Shari glanced at Ram.

Ram just laughed making Mom laugh with him.

"But may I ask." Dell faced me. "What is your relationship with each other?" She pointed to me and Blake.

Surprisingly, everyone in table turned to us. Mom didn't seem that interested since she was sure with the answer.

I started to panic, I haven't thought about a proper answer to them about this. I searched my head quickly. I was about to speak when Blake spoke for me.

"I guess I'm her boyfriend." He said smoothly.

I expected them to laugh but all of their mouths dropped. Surprisingly, even Mom's.

"Are you serious?" Dell asked me.

I turned to Blake then faced her and nodded.

My eyes widened when all of them cheered.

"The time has finally come!" Dell cheered.

Anna joined her. "Paige has a boyfriend!"

Aicko and Shari just laughed while Ram gave us both the teasing look.

"Well I'll just get more salad." Mom stood up from the table and headed to the kitchen. I stood up as well and followed her.

"Oh you're here." Mom looked up from the salad pot.

I went to her and helped her place some salad on the bowl.

"Wow a boyfriend." Mom chuckled. "One of the things I never thought you'd have." She joked.

I frowned. "Not funny Mom."

She continued to laugh as she took out her gloves.

"Is it ok with you?" I asked.

She raised her brow at me and laughed. "Are you happy?"

Her look in my eyes were searching for the truth. I smiled at her and nodded. "Yes, I am."

She sighed and caressed the side of my face. "Then I am happy too." She smiled, then encircled me in a big warm hug.

"Oh my baby's so big now." She patted my head. "And she got a boyfriend even if she's dressed up as Santa Claus."

"Hey I took off the hat, beard, and stuffin. All I had was the red coat." I defended myself and laughed as I tightened my hug. "I love you Mom."

"I love you more sunshine."

After that we went back to the table. I saw Ram wearing his scarf around his neck.

"Leaving so soon?" I asked.

He turned to me and nodded. "I have to be somewhere at the moment." He checked his watch. "Anyways thank you so much for the food Auntie!" He called to Mom.

"The pleasure is mine your highness." Mom bowed.

Ram smiled and headed out while everyone bade him goodbye. When he left we went back to eating.

I looked at Blake's plate and he was done eating. "Come." I pulled him up. "Follow me."

"Where are we going?" He asked.

"My room." I answered.

He raised his brow at me but I just rolled my eyes and continued to pull him going to my room.

He followed me up the stairs and we entered my bedroom.

I sat down on my bed and hugged Grumpy Paige while he roamed around my room eyeing my things.

"Sorry this place is pretty small."

He sat down beside me. "I like it small, it's cute." He turned to me. "Like you."

I rolled my eyes and cleaned my messed up books on my table.

"So how did you and the Kevin guy meet?" He asked.

What?! He's not yet done with that issue?

"Haven't I already told you?" I frowned at him.

"Nope you didn't." He crossed his arms.

I rolled my eyes. "We had a crush on each other back in 5th grade ok."

He raised his eyebrows. "So your type are guys like him?"

"NO! I have a different type." I defended myself.

"Which is?" He asked. He really is persistent with his questions.

"A secret!"

He seemed unsatisfied with my lack of answer. "But did you kiss him?"

"Why on earth would I kiss Kevin?"

"Not now, back in grade school." He really wanted to know.

I scoffed. "No I didn't, I don't kiss all the boys I like."

"Oh boys?" Blake crossed his arms. "So how many are we Paige?" He asked.

I hit him on his shoulder making him chuckle. "There's only one, and that's you. Happy now?!"

He was about to say something when the someone knocked on my bedroom door. I stood up to get it.

The second I opened the door. Aiden was there smiling. "Smile!" He said, the next thing I knew was that there was a flash.

I frowned and punched his shoulder. Looks like his father did get him a new camera. "Now that's for the photo album." He laughed.

"Whatever."

"Just let me in, would ya." Aiden tried to squeeze himself inside the door but suddenly stopped. "Oh you're here." He said when he saw Blake. "I'll just be downstairs, sorry to interrupt." He immediately closed the door and I heard his footsteps going down.

I chuckled and looked back at Blake. "How are you going to get home?" I asked.

"My family checked in a hotel nearby." He checked the time. "And I believe that I should get going now."

I nodded and led him downstairs. Aiden was with the girls in the table while they played some board games.

"Mom! Blake's going home now." I called

Everyone said their goodbye's and I gave him back his coat before wearing my own coat before. I placed a cap on my head and walked him outside. His driver came to fetch him in a maroon sports car.

"We'll be leaving the country for New year." He said.

"Oh well don't forget to have fun." I smiled at him. "Since the next time we'll get to see eachother is Next year, I'd like to greet you Advance Happy New year."

He chuckled. "Enjoy the rest of the vacation."

"You too." I sighed. "I hope you made good memories and happenings this year, if not then you better do it before it ends." I reminded him.

He chuckled and leaned down at my level. "You are the best thing that happened to me this year." He suddenly lowered my cap down and gave my head a pat before walking inside his car.

And he drove away leaving me here speechless.

Later that evening, Anna, Dell and Zoe left back to their homes, Aicko and Shari would be staying for a sleepover so while they were in the bathroom doing some skin care, I went downstairs to the living room to see Aiden. I didn't get to spend that much time with him this evening.

I approached him while he was sitting on the couch while reading a book.

"Hey." I called his attention.

He looked up from the book and gave me a smile. "How's it going Peggy?"

"Uh pretty good." I leaned on the couch.

"I see you had quite many visitors a while ago."

I nodded. "Yeah, they keep showing up out of no where." I laughed.

He laughed as well. "I uh have something to tell you." He closed his book and placed it on the side table.

"Wow I have something to tell you as well." I laughed. "But you go first." I did an Indian sit ready to listen.

"No you go first." He did an Indian sit as well.

I rolled my eyes. "Fine, so I just well." I played with my fingers.

He urged me to keep going.

I sighed. "I-I'm in a relationship now." I looked down on my lap as I played with my fingers.

Aiden's light in his eeys immediatley faded. He shook his head. "W-what?"

I cleared my throat. "I'm in a relationship now." I looked up to him. "With Blake."

I searched his face for his reaction. I expected him to jump with joy, or tease me about it but he just stayed silent.

His expression seemed more like shocked. He was silent for a while and just looking into my eyes.

"W-wow congrats!" His face suddenly lit up. Now that's the reaction I'm expecting. "I'm just shocked."

"Well what do you think?" I asked. "Do you think it's alright?"

"Peggy, who am I to tell you what to do?"

"My best friend."

"Well." He sighed and took a hold of my hand. "Like I always say. No matter what happens, I'll always be on your side."

I felt my eyes tear up at what he said. "Thank you." I hugged him. "I'm so lucky to have you."

He caressed my hair. "As long as you happy then I'm happy."

I'm so glad I have him. I got out of his hug and playfully punched his shoulder. "Oh wait, what was it that you wanted to say?" I wondered.

"Oh that was nothing." He chuckled and shook his head. "Forget about it."

I raised my brow at him but he just smiled. Maybe it really was nothing.

Third Person's POV.

"Prince Kile, what are you doing here in Rome?"

"Is it true that you are here to see your fiancee' Princess Bellona?"

"Do you plan of spending the New year together?"

Reporters showered Kile with questions when he got out of his car. He didn't entertain any of them and just allowed his body guards to keep the press at bay while he walked towards the main doors of the Roman Palace.

The maids, butlers and other servants of the Roman Palace bowed at him as he entered the doors. Others offered him food and drinks but he declined for he was there for one purpose.

One of the maids approached him and curtsied.

"Where is Bella?" Kile asked.

"The Princess is in her chambers your highness." The maid said. "I shall escort you to her."

Kile nodded and followed the maid, even if he already memorized the whole Roman palace, he still needed to abide to the Royal protocol.

Butlers and other maids followed them as if they were parading the golden palace halls. They stopped in front of tall golden doors that lead to the Princess' chambers.

"We shall leave you two some privacy your highness." The made said and the butlers opened the doors for Kile to enter.

He thanked the maids and entered the familiar room. The second he entered, he was greeted by the melodic sound of the piano. His eyes roamed through the grand room and his eyes fell on the girl seated behind the grand piano.

When she noticed his presence she brought her stormy gray eyes to him. "What brings you here?" She asked.

"Bella." Kile walked towards her. "We need to talk."
