While Lysander was checking in at the front desk, she ordered a meal, asking them to bring it up as soon as possible.

It was no secret that the dining options at the hotel were notoriously overpriced and, frankly, the quality rarely matched the expense.

Yet, as Priscilla voraciously devoured her pasta, there was an undeniable twinge of emotion in Lysander’s gaze.

Here was Priscilla, the only daughter of the prestigious director of Central Hospital, a woman raised amidst privilege, now seeming to have strayed far from her refined upbringing.

While at Apex University, Harry had fervently pursued a young woman known widely as the most beautiful female student in the department. She was a local, her father a prominent figure in the foreign trade sector, owning multiple properties in Apex City and possessing connections within the political sphere.

Despite her committed relationship with a fellow honor student from a neighboring university, Harry’s relentless pursuit only intensified.
