Chapter 169
Presiden's wild wife
Mia was so happy to see they returned home. Knowing Elenaâs examination result, she was so excited and insisted to prepare a feast for celebration.
Elena tried to stop her immediately. âCome on, I donât want to get fat! Please! I need to go on a diet!â
âGo on a diet? No way! You should get chubbier.â Mia smiled and looked at Logan, trying to get his support, âSir, do you agree?â
But Elena stared at him, telling him silently that he might get trouble if he said yes.
Logan understood her âthreatâ and took her side, so he changed the subject, âWell, Zach, I think we should have a conservation in the study.â
Hearing this, Zach stiffened. He knew that Logan wouldnât just let it go. So he followed them to the study obediently.
They were in the study now. Logan looked at Zach and cut right to the chase, âTell me now. What are you going to do?â
âI donât know, Logan, you know that I...â
âYou know me. Whoever hurts Elena must pay the price!â
Logan said in a low, and cold voice. His words were like rocks, giving a heavy blow to Zach. He answered in a weak tone, âGot it. I will tell the truth to the Lees and the Browns. And then I wonât interfere.â
âGood.â
Zach stood up and wanted to leave. But Logan stopped him, âZach, I never make a comment about your life, but now I have to remind you. Stay away from Anna.â
Zach nodded, but no one knew if he would really take Loganâs advice or not.
While Logan continued, âSophia is a good girl. If you donât like her, leave her alone. If you really want to be with her, you should fix things right first.â
âI know.â
Logan nodded, âOkay. You may go now. Take a rest. The investigation can wait. I donât want your personal emotions to affect the investigation.â
Zach glanced at him, and heaved a great sigh of relief. Then he smiled jokingly, âLogan, I know you care about me. Look at you, you are so worried about me.â
Logan squinted at him sharply, which repelled him immediately.
Elena happened to meet Zach on the stairs. When Zach saw her, he felt a bit guilty.
Elena smiled, âWhat? Did Logan scold you?â
âNo.â Zach shook his head and said, âElena, you donât want me to see Sophia, do you?â
Elena was a little surprised, âWhy do you think so?â
âBecause...â
Because Elena always asked him not to get close to or think about Sophia. She always tried to protect Sophia from him, like he was a monster or a beast.
He didnât answer, but his feelings were exposed in his eyes. Elena was clever enough to understand it and smiled, âWhatâs your opinion? Do you want to see her? Do you like her?â
âI donât know.â He replied.
Both of them were silent. After a while, he added, âActually, I like her, but...â
âBut what?â
âBut I have Anna.â Zach replied honestly. He seemed to understand what she wanted to tell him, âElena, I know what you mean. I am just too selfish...â
Elena looked at him, only to see his frustration.
As Zach was going to leave, Elena stopped him and said seriously, âZach, follow your heart this time. After all, I donât know what is really going on between you. Nor should I judge or affect your decision. You should have your own choice.â
He suddenly raised his head and looked at her, seeing the bright smile on her face.
Then he opened the door and said before he left, âI should go now. Thanks, Elena.â
When Logan came out, he happened to see Zach leaving, âWhat did you say to him?â
âNothing.â She shook her head, showing the dessert she prepared for them, âLogan, shall we have an afternoon tea?â
He raised his eyebrows, saying happily, âOf course.â
She smiled, going downstairs with him. They were going to enjoy the moment and the peace.

However, something broke the peace. As the Browns knew the truth from Zach, they ordered Logan and Elena to go home immediately. They wanted to refuse but Grandpa George said, âIf you donât come back now, we will go to your house.â
In this case, there was no point in refusing. So they went to the Brownsâ villa in no time.
As soon as they entered the house, they saw everyone looked sullen. The atmosphere around them was so unpleasant. They were also shocked to see that Anna was kneeling in the middle of the hall. And her parents were standing beside her.
Grandpa George saw them and quickly stood up, âFinally you are here!â
âGrandpa.â Elena called him politely, walking towards them.
Grandpa George pulled her hand and said pitifully, âElena, I am sorry to know that you suffered so much! Why didnât you tell me the truth? We could face this together! But you didnât. Alas, I feel so sorry for you!â
Elena replied, âGrandpa, itâs over now.â
âGrandpa, calm down.â Logan said.
Grandpa George stared at him with an unhappy expression, âWhy didnât you tell me! I am so worried about you! Now I am really pissed off!â
Grandpa George always wondered why they didnât have a baby since they had married for so long. How could he ever know that Anna poisoned Elena in secret! Elena almost got infertile because of her! And he might never have a great-grandson!
Mr. Lee stepped forward and apologized, âLogan, Elena, I am so sorry! I failed to raise Anna to be a nice and kind girl. Please forgive us!â
âDad!â Anna yelled anxiously. She wanted to stand up, but her father gave her a sharp stare, which stopped her at once.
Mrs. Lee was so sad to see this, but she couldnât say anything to help Anna.
While Logan and Elena seemed so indifferent and they didnât bother to speak.
Mr. Lee continued, âLogan, I know you must be angry. So I take Anna here today and she must apologize to you.â
Presiden's wild wife ï¤Chapter 168 Donât push me A Trillionaireâs Revenge ï¤CHAPTER 41 âWell, since you know she made such a huge mistake, you might punish her according to your rules, Mr. Lee. Please go ahead. And we will be glad to take this as your apology.â Logan smiled and said slowly.
Logan was urging Annaâs father to punish her before everyone? Anna was kneeling on the ground and she seemed hurt in despair.
