14. PRITHVI

HIS LITTLE PRINCE (# BOOK 2)

VYOM RAJPUT'S POV

I wake upto an empty bed, wondering where did vikram went.

I look at the time it's 10 in the morning.

He must be at his office by now.

I am also late i should get ready to go to my workplace.

I have huge event coming up.

I walk into the kitchen, expecting to find it empty, but instead, I'm greeted by the sight of Vikram cooking up a storm. He's standing at the stove, his back to me, and he looks...hot. Really hot. The way he's expertly flipping pancakes and scrambling eggs makes me feel a little inadequate.

"So, you know how to cook?" I ask, trying to sound casual despite my surprise.

Vikram turns around, a spatula in hand, and gives me a charming smile. "Someone has to do it, since you don't know how to," he says, his eyes glinting with amusement.

I feel a little defensive, and I frown. "How did you know that I can't cook?" I ask, trying to sound nonchalant.

Vikram's smile grows wider, and he takes a step closer to me. "I know those things about you that even you don't have any idea about," he says, his voice low and mysterious.

I feel a shiver run down my spine as I meet his gaze. There's something about the way he's looking at me that makes me feel like he can see right through me, like he knows all my secrets. And yet, despite the unnerving feeling, I'm drawn to him, like a moth to a flame.

I take a deep breath, trying to shake off the fluttery feeling in my chest. "I'm going to head to my design studio now," I say, trying to sound casual.

Vikram nods, his eyes still fixed on me. "You can go after having breakfast, but you have to take Rithvik with you," he says, his voice firm.

I raise an eyebrow, feeling a little surprised. "Rithvik? Who rithvik? And Why?"

Vikram's expression is serious. "Just do as I say, Vyom. Rithvik will take care of you."

I nod, feeling a little curious about why Vikram is being so insistent. But before I can ask any more questions, Vikram glances at his watch and says, "Don't worry, my secretary, prithvi will be coming by now. And I have to leave. I am already late for my work"

I feel a little disappointed that Vikram has to leave, but he just smiles and says, "My secretary will explain everything to you. Just listen to what he has to say, okay?"

I nod, feeling a little curious about what Vikram's secretary is going to tell me.

He come close to me, kiss my forehead

And with that, Vikram turns and walks away, leaving me to wonder what's going on.

Suddenly the door bell rang.

I open the door to find a fairly tall person with rectangular specs perched on the end of his nose. He looks exactly like a nerd, the kind of person who would know the names of all the Prime Ministers of India, along with the dates they were elected.

He storms into the room, his stern expression making me take a step back. "I am Prithvi chauhan, 29," he says, his voice crisp and efficient. "Vikram sir's personal assistant, available 24/7. Now available for you too."

I'm taken aback by his abrupt introduction, but before I can respond, he continues. "Rithvik, who has been assigned to you, will be your all-time bodyguard. He will accompany you everywhere, ensure your safety and security at all times."

I feel a little overwhelmed by the sudden influx of information, but Prithvi doesn't seem to notice. He's already pulling out a small notebook and flipping through the pages. "Now, let's go over your schedule for the day. Vikram sir has instructed me to ensure that you are aware of all your commitments and appointments.

You have to go to the design door by 11

Then meeting with officials at 1,

Then you have meeting with Mr. Singhania for his wedding at 5.

Then dinner at royal palace with Mr. Vikram at 9."

I take a deep breath, trying to process everything that's happening. It seems like Vikram has taken it upon himself to organize my life, and I'm not sure how I feel about it.

I nod, taking in the information. "Okay, dinner with Vikram at 9 tonight," I repeat, making a mental note.

"Is your boss that much controlling to everyone?"

Prithvi nods, his expression still stern. "Yes, that's correct. For now, after your breakfast, you can go to your design studio. Rithvik will accompany you."

I glance around, noticing Rithvik standing discreetly in the background. I hadn't even noticed him come in.

Prithvi hands me a business card. "Here is my contact information. You can call me anytime you want. I'll be available 24/7 to assist you."

I take the card, feeling a little overwhelmed by the sudden influx of new people and responsibilities in my life. "Thanks," I say, trying to sound grateful.

Prithvi nods, his expression softening slightly. "Don't hesitate to reach out if you need anything," he says, before turning and leaving.

I watch him go, feeling a little bewildered. What have I gotten myself into?

I finish my breakfast in silence, savoring the delicious flavors and textures. As I push my plate away, I can't help but applaud Vikram's cooking skills. The man is a genius in the kitchen.

With my hunger sated, I head downstairs to start my day. As I reach the lobby, I notice a tall, buff guy standing by the door. He's dressed in a sleek black suit, and his imposing physique screams "bodyguard." This must be Rithvik, I think to myself.

I approach him, and he turns to face me. His expression is stoic, but his eyes seem to hold a hint of warmth. "Hi," I say, trying to sound friendly.

Rithvik bows his head slightly, his movements economical and precise. "Good morning, sir," he says, his deep voice rumbling. He steps aside and opens the door for me, his gestures fluid and practiced.

As I walk through the door, I think to myself that everyone who works under Vikram seems to be cut from the same cloth. They're all so efficient, so polished, and so... intimidating.

I turn to Rithvik as we step out into the bright sunlight. "Thanks, Rithvik," I say, trying to sound casual.

Rithvik's expression doesn't change, but his voice takes on a slightly softer tone. "At your service, sir," he says, falling into step beside me.

As we walk to my office, I feel a sense of unease creeping over me. I'm not used to having a bodyguard, and Rithvik's imposing presence is making me feel a little claustrophobic.

We reach my office building, and Rithvik opens the door for me once again. I nod my thanks and step inside, feeling a sense of relief wash over me as I escape into the familiar surroundings of my office.

But as I approach my desk, I'm confronted with a surprise. Vedika is sitting in my chair, looking like she owns the place. Her long legs are crossed, and her hands are steepled together in front of her. She's wearing a sleek black dress, and her hair is pulled back into a tight ponytail.

She looks up as I approach, a smug smile spreading across her face. "Good morning, Vyom darling," she says, her voice dripping with condescension. "I hope you don't mind, but I made myself at home."

I feel a surge of irritation at her presumptuous behavior, but I try to keep my cool. After all, I don't want to give her the satisfaction of getting under my skin.

"Vedika," I say, trying to sound calm. "What are you doing here?"

Vedika's smile grows wider, and she leans back in my chair. "Oh, I'm just here to give you a good news"

Wow seems like that guy, what was his name again.

Ansh mathur has fallen in her vicious trap.

Oh lord save him for my psycho bestfriend.
