Chapter 18

15. ANSH MATHUR

HIS LITTLE PRINCE (# BOOK 2)

VYOM RAJPUT'S POV

Vedika's eyes sparkle with excitement as she bounces up and down in my chair. "Oh my god, Vyom, I have the most amazing news!" she squeals, hardly able to contain herself.

I raise an eyebrow, intrigued despite myself. "What is it?" I ask, trying to sound nonchalant.

Vedika takes a deep breath, a huge grin spreading across her face. "Ansh Mathur is dating me!" she exclaims, her voice barely above a whisper.

What! That was unaccepted!

I feel my eyes widen in surprise. Ansh Mathur is a world-renowned singer, known for his soulful voice and captivating stage presence. He's a global superstar, and the fact that he's dating Vedika is huge news.

But as I look at Vedika's excited face, I feel a pang of suspicion. Something doesn't add up. Ansh Mathur is notoriously private, and nobody knows anything about his personal life. Not even the basics, like his date of birth. He's never been seen at any events, apart from his concerts and occasional charity functions.

And yet, he's suddenly dating Vedika? It seems too good to be true.

"Vedika, how did this happen?" I ask, trying to sound casual.

Vedika's grin falters for a moment, and she looks uncertain. "I...I met him at a party, and we just clicked," she says, her voice a little too breezy.

I raise an eyebrow, my suspicions growing. Something's not right here.

VEDIKA SINGH RAJVANSH'S POV

I sat in my chair, trying to maintain a cool demeanor as Vyom asked me about Ansh. But as I looked back on that fateful night, I couldn't help but feel a flutter in my chest.

--- FLASHBACK STARTS----

I had been stalking Ansh Mathur for what felt like an eternity. I knew every detail about him, from his favorite foods to his childhood memories. But despite all my research, I had never actually met him.

That was, until the night I snuck into his condo.

I had been waiting outside his building for hours, watching as he came and went, attending to his various celebrity commitments. And when I saw him leave for a late-night recording session, I knew it was my chance.

I slipped into the building, making my way to the elevator. My heart was racing as I stepped out onto his floor, my eyes scanning the hallway for any sign of security.

But as I reached his condo, I realized that I had made a mistake. The door was unlocked, and I pushed it open, calling out to see if anyone was there.

The only response was silence.

I stepped inside, my eyes adjusting to the dim light. And that's when I saw him. Ansh Mathur, standing in his kitchen, staring at me with a mixture of surprise and annoyance.

"What are you doing here?" he asked, his voice firm but controlled.

I felt my face heat up as I realized the gravity of my mistake. I was a stalker, plain and simple. But as I looked into Ansh's eyes, I saw something there that gave me the courage to speak the truth.

"I have feelings for you," I said, my voice barely above a whisper. "I know it sounds crazy, but I just wanted to know you. I'm not an obsessive stalker or anything. I just...I wanted to understand you."

Ansh's face remained stone-like, but I saw a flicker of something in his eyes. It was almost...amusement.

"If you really want to know me," he said, his voice low and husky. "How about we start dating?"

I felt like I had been punched in the gut. Dating? Ansh Mathur wanted to date me?

But as I looked into his eyes, I saw something there that made me realize that this was more than just a whim. This was a challenge.

And I was ready to accept it.

---FLASHBACK ENDED-----

I snapped back to the present, Vyom's eyes narrowed in suspicion. "What's going on, Vedika?" he asked, his voice firm.

I took a deep breath, trying to maintain my cool. "I told you, Vyom. We met at a party and just clicked."

But as I looked into Vyom's eyes, I knew that he didn't believe me. And I couldn't blame him. After all, I was a stalker who had somehow managed to land a date with her celebrity crush.

It was a long story, and one that I wasn't sure I was ready to share. But as I looked at Vyom, I knew that I had to tell him the truth. Eventually.

VYOM RAJPUT'S POV

I glance at my watch, realizing that I have a schedule to keep. "Vedika, I'm afraid I have to ask you to leave," I say, trying to sound polite but firm.

Vedika looks at me with a hint of disappointment, but she nods and starts to gather her things. As she's about to leave, she notices Rithvik standing by the door, his eyes fixed on her.

Rithvik bows down, his movements fluid and respectful. "Ma'am," he says, his voice low and smooth.

Vedika's eyes narrow slightly as she looks at Rithvik. "What are you doing here?" she asks, her voice tinged with curiosity.

Rithvik straightens up, his expression serious. "I am here to guard Vyom sir," he says, his voice firm.

Vedika's gaze flicks to me, and she raises an eyebrow. A smirk spreads across her face, and she looks like she's about to say something, but instead, she just nods and turns to leave.

As she walks out of the room, she looks like the queen she is, her head held high and her shoulders back. I watch her go, feeling a mix of amusement and frustration. Vedika always knows how to make an exit.

I turn to Rithvik, who is still standing by the door, his eyes fixed on me. "Thanks for being here, Rithvik," I say, trying to sound grateful.

Rithvik nods, his expression serious. "It's my duty, sir," he says, his voice firm.

I nod, feeling a sense of reassurance with Rithvik by my side. I may not know what's going on with Vedika and Ansh, but with Rithvik here, I feel like I can handle whatever comes my way.

I glance at my watch, realizing that my meetings have finally come to an end. It's 8:30, and I'm supposed to meet Vikram for dinner. I turn to Rithvik, who's been standing quietly by my side all day. "Let's go," I say, nodding towards the door. "We need to get to the hotel."

Rithvik's expression remains neutral, but he shakes his head. "Someone will be picking you up, sir," he says, his voice firm.

I frown, feeling a little confused. "What do you mean?" I ask, but Rithvik just nods and steps aside.

I shrug, deciding not to press the issue. Maybe Vikram has sent a car for me or something. I walk out of the building, Rithvik following closely behind me.

As we step out into the cool evening air, I scan the parking lot, looking for a familiar face or a luxury car. But instead, my eyes land on a sleek black Ducati, Vikram's personal favorite bike. And leaning against it, looking like a million bucks, is Vikram himself.

My heart skips a beat as our eyes meet, and I feel a flutter in my chest. Vikram's eyes crinkle at the corners as he smiles, and he pushes off from the bike, walking towards me with a confident stride.

Rithvik bows his head, and I hear him murmur, "Sir," before he turns and disappears into the evening crowd.

Vikram reaches me, and his hands close around my waist, pulling me closer. I feel a rush of excitement as our bodies touch, and I look up at him, my heart pounding in my chest.

"Did you miss me?" Vikram asks, his voice low and husky, his eyes glinting with amusement.

I feel a blush rise to my cheeks as I said,"I don't what are you talking about?", my voice caught in my throat. Vikram's smile grows wider, and he leans in, his lips brushing against my ear.

"But I missed you so bad, little prince," he whispers, sending shivers down my spine.
