20. JEALOUS?
HIS LITTLE PRINCE (# BOOK 2)
VYOM RAJPUT'S POV
It's been a week since things shifted between me and vikram, and I have to say, it's been a wild ride. The awkwardness is gone, replaced by a flirtatious energy that's palpable every time we're together.
We've made out in every room of the house, it feels like. The living room, the kitchen, even the garden. It's like we can't get enough of each other. But despite the intensity of our makeout sessions, Vikram never takes it further. We always stop at kissing, never venturing into more intimate territory.
I have to admit, it's killing me. I want to feel him, to explore his body and have him explore mine. But every time I try to take things further, Vikram pulls back, leaving me feeling frustrated and confused.
I don't have the guts to ask him what's holding him back. What if he thinks I'm a slut or something? I mean, I am, but it's too early for him to know that. I don't want to scare him off.
I've been down this road before, and it never ends well. Many of my previous partners have left me because of my high sex drive. They couldn't keep up, or they thought I was too much to handle. I don't want Vikram to be another one of those guys.
I care about him too much already. I don't want to lose him because of my own desires. But at the same time, I don't know how much longer I can keep this up. The tension between us is building, and I can feel it simmering just below the surface.
I just wish I knew what Vikram was thinking. Is he feeling the same way? Is he holding back because he's scared, or because he's just not interested? I need to know, but I'm too afraid to ask.
The door to my office bursts open, taking me out of my thoughts. Vedika stands in the doorway, a wide smile plastered on her face. I raise an eyebrow, wondering what she's doing here.
"What are you here for?" I ask, trying to keep my tone neutral.
Vedika's smile grows even wider. "Well, well, I've just got Spike out of my way," she says, her voice dripping with satisfaction.
I frown, confused. "What are you talking about? Is everything alright with Ansh?"
Vedika waves her hand dismissively. "Of course, I've done everything alright. Don't worry about it."
I narrow my eyes, suspicious. This isn't the first time I've seen Vedika behaving like a menace. She and her brother, Vikram, are cut from the same cloth. They're both ruthless and cunning, always getting what they want, no matter the cost.
It's just that Vedika is more overt about it, while Vikram's monster lurks beneath his expensive Armani suits. They're both psychopaths, in my opinion. But, I have to admit, Vikram is hot, in a terrifying kind of way.
I glance at my watch, realizing that Vedika has been ranting about her "baby boy" Ansh Mathur for over an hour. I wonder how she can even call him that. Ansh is huge, at least twice Vedika's size. He looks like he could crush her with a single movement. And yet, she talks about him like he's some kind of delicate flower.
I tune out Vedika's monologue, my mind wandering to Vikram and our complicated situation. I'm still trying to figure out what's going on with him, why he's holding back. But for now, I'm stuck listening to Vedika's endless chatter.
I turn to Vedika, hoping to get some insight into Vikram's behavior. "Hey Ved, can I ask you something?"
Vedika looks at me with interest, a sly smile spreading across her face. "Yes, darling? What's on your mind?"
I take a deep breath, trying to phrase my question carefully. "What does it mean if a person wants to make out with you, but doesn't take it further?"
Vedika raises an eyebrow, her expression skeptical, "Maybe they want to take it slow."
"And what if that slow is almost killing the second person? What should the other person do?"
Vedika's eyes sparkle with amusement, and she leans in, her voice taking on a conspiratorial tone. "Hmmm... So Vikram bhai hasn't fucked you yet?"
I feel my face heat up with embarrassment, and I try to play it cool. "What the fuck are you talking about, Ved? This is just general knowledge."
Vedika's smile grows even wider, and she raises an eyebrow. "Oh, really? You're not talking about your own experiences with my brother?"
I sigh, feeling like Vedika knows me too well. "You're such a slut, Vyom," she says, her voice dripping with amusement. "Asking your boyfriend's sister for advice in the bedroom? Huh?"
"We aren't boyfriends yet." I said feeling a little embarrassed.
Vedika's eyes sparkle with teasing, and she continues. "What's wrong, Vyom? You always said you could get any man you want on this earth. What's wrong? Has my brother tormented you?"
I feel my face grow even hotter, and I try to defend myself. "Shut up, Vedika. This has nothing to do with Vikram. I'm just asking for general advice."
Vedika's laughter echoes through the room, and she pats me on the back. "Sure, Vyom. Keep telling yourself that."
Vedika's eyes sparkle with mischief as she leans in closer to me. "The easiest way to get inside bhai's pants is to make him jealous," she whispers, a sly grin spreading across her face.
I raise an eyebrow, intrigued by her suggestion. "You think that would work?" I ask, my mind racing with possibilities.
Vedika nods enthusiastically. "I've never seen such emotions on bhai's face ever, so I think it will get him so fucked up that something can happen between you guys." She pauses, studying me intently. "You know, bhai has been such a calculative guy from the very start. Something unexpected can be a little challenging for him."
I consider her words, weighing the pros and cons of her plan. But before I can respond, Vedika continues.
"My mother has come back from her regular escape to dad, and as usual, dad is giving out a grand party to everyone. And trust me, you are invited." She winks at me, her eyes glinting with excitement.
I feel a surge of anticipation at the prospect of attending the party. It sounds like the perfect opportunity to put Vedika's plan into action.
Vedika leans in closer, her voice taking on a conspiratorial tone. "It's the best way to make him jealous, and something can happen between you guys. Just make sure to flirt with someone else, and bhai will be green with envy."
I smile, feeling a sense of determination wash over me. I'm ready to take Vedika's advice and make Vikram jealous. It's time to take things to the next level and see where this wild ride takes us.
