Chapter 501 - 501 AARON IS HERE
Untamed: The Alpha
501 AARON IS HERE
âWhat is it?â Zuri was still confused to see how Gael was making a fuss, this was not the first time for him to enter a pack of werewolf, therefore, he shouldnât have acted so cranky like right now.
âYou must know that we are here because of the shattered soul, but, do you know who is the shattered soul here in this pack?â Gael spoke dramatically and made Zuri remembered one of the theatrical that she and Chaos watched when one of the players was the shattered soul. âItâs the alpha of this pack!â he said in frustration when Zuri didnât get the cue.
But, even after he said that, there was still no reaction from the three people before them, which only made him more depressed.
âWhy donât you have a proper reaction?â Gael frowned his brows and folded his arms, feeling offended.
âStop acting like a child, most of the time, it would be the alpha or beta of the pack, who is the shattered soul.â Zuri waved her hand, dismissive his dramatical reaction.
For some odd reason, Chaosâs shattered soul would be someone, who held a command in a certain community. Even Eros was the beta of his pack.
Zuri gritted her teeth, she didnât want to be reminded by that again. It was good that he would go from that hotel, thus they wouldnât need to see each other again for nobody knew how long.
âBut, why both of you have to come? I think Knox can handle it himself,â Zuri looked at Knox. âWhy do you need to ask a help from Chaos?â
Knox glared at her and then walked ahead of them, this was not a surprise to see how noisy the three of them could be when they were in the same place at the same time.
.....
âI donât want to labor myself,â Knox replied simply.
âWhat do you mean labor yourself? You have done it for centuries and only now you complained?â Gael grumbled.
âRight, why do you need to complain now,â Zuri chimed in.
âI was saying that not because I take your side, okay, I am on my side,â Gael protested to Zuri, he was still pissed because he was brought to this mission.
âI donât want you to be on my side too, donât worry.â Zuri threw him a dagger look and then approached Chaos, wrapping her arm around his waist, as the man glared at Gael warningly, making the poor old man to swallow every complain that was already on the tip of his tongue.
âShut up,â Knox said sharply, which made Gael became more upset, but he followed them nonetheless.
âSo, isnât this too much for all of us to go together to get the alpha, I think you are more than capable to do it, right?â Zuri said to Knox. âWhy donât we wait here and you go to get the alpha,â she suggested.
âI like that idea,â Gael agreed very quickly. âI am too old for a fight, my bones are too fragile to jump around.â
âYou donât need to jump around, right? You just need to wriggle your fingers,â Zuri retorted when she heard he whined.
That was true, since Gael only needed to move his finger to do his magic, but he didnât want to do it. âI am tired, I am driving a whole day.â
âWhere did you go?â Knox was still curious with the scent that was still lingering on both of them, he knew, but there was something in him that prevented himself to remember that.
âYou donât need to know, this is a secret between me and Zuri,â Gael replied hastily, that was not the best excuse, since he didnât have time to think about that and just blurted out what was in his mind.
Zuri glared at him, because Chaos was staring at her questioningly, since he heard she had a secret only the two of them that knew about.
âThis is nothing, we just visited his old friend, but because Gael doesnât want me to tell you about his senile friend, he told me to stay silence,â Zuri murmured. She had not yet decided what she had to do with the information about Rhea, Knox and Julyâs daughter.
Chaos rubbed her back, he didnât say much tonight, but this was not unusual for him.
âOh, shut up,â Gael bickered, but he didnât correct him, since he couldnât come up with a better excuse, thus begrudgingly, he let them to misunderstand him and this was annoying.
The three of them bickered along the way, while Chaos just watched them silently, he walked next to his woman and casually played with his hair, he became a little bit touchy tonight, aside being so quiet.
They walked noisily like that until someone stopped them, he must be a young shifter, who guarded this area.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om
âWhere is your alpha?â Gael asked, in spite of complaining that he didnât want to be there, he was the one, who took the lead.
âWhy do you need to come here also?â Zuri tugged Chaosâs long sleeve, as he was wearing dark blue color sweater that complimented his eyes.
She thought it was too much to take this many people. She knew black wolf pack and didnât think this was a big pack, the last time she knew there were around seventy people here.
âBecause Aaron is here,â Chaos said. He caressed her cheek, while deep in thought. âI shouldnât have brought you along with me.â
Of course, Zuri remembered about Aaron, it had been a while since the last time she heard anything about that man.
Not only him, even Hades had not yet made an appearance, since his last warning.
âWhy he is here too?â Zuri frowned.
âApparently, he has been collecting Chaosâs shattered soul as well.â This time, it was Knox, who answered her question in cold tone.
