Chapter 504 - 504 IT HAS BEEN A WHILE
Untamed: The Alpha
504 IT HAS BEEN A WHILE
Knox really couldnât get it, Gael was an old man right now, but he acted more childish than Zuri and both of them simply a disaster to be put on the same mission, as they kept bickering with each other.
âShut up!â Knox snapped, which made Zuri and Gael clamped their mouth shut and pouted like petulant children, as they walked into the pack house, where they were stopped by two guards, who asked whatâs their intention to come here, since they could sense that the three of them were not shifter and all of them were not from this pack.
âWhere are you going?â one guard with blonde hair asked Knox, who was standing in front of them, while he and his fellow guards observed the other two as well.
âWe need to meet the alpha,â Knox said bluntly.
âDo you have an appointment before?â He eyed them up and down, but he still couldnât determine who were they. Moreover, it was a little bit suspicious to have a guest at this late hour.
âNo,â Knox replied quickly, which made Zuri scoffed.
She still thought this was the worst plan ever, if there was any plan to begin with, since Knox just walked toward the pack house and requested for the alpha, as if though he owned this place.
They should come quietly and leave without leaving any traces after they had done. There was no need to alert another shifter and engaged in unnecessary fight or argument.
âYou canât meet him then,â the other guy with brown hair chimed in, he was very cautious, as Zuri could see he was mind link the other guard to come, just in case, since they were outnumbered.
.....
âWhy donât we teleport to the alphaâs bedroom or his study room?â Zuri tilted her head, she looked at Chaos, waiting for his answer. âWe used to do that, right? When we figured out an alpha is your shattered soul?â
âAaron is inside,â Chaos replied, his eyes fixed at a certain window that the light was still lit up. âHe has been suppressing the energy around here.â
Which meant, it would be hard for them to use their power, as their power collided.
Zuri lifted her head and followed Chaosâs line of sight, she could see there were two people behind the curtains staring back at them, while right now, Knox was talking to the other two guards, spouting all excuse for them to be able to enter the pack house and met with the alpha.
Meanwhile, Gaelâs patient seemed to grow thin, as he kept mumbling curses, which didnât help, since those shifters could hear him.
âFcuk it,â Gael said, as he pulled Knox behind him by his shoulder and then burned the two guardsâ pants.
âAARRGH! A MAGUS! INTRUDER!â they were jumping up and down, and rolled on the ground in order to put off the fire from licking their body.
âCan we go now?â Gael asked impatiently. âI want to have dinner with my daughter.â
Knox glared at Gael because he made unnecessary commotion. âShould you do that?â
âWhat? Do you think this is the problem, where you can talk it out?â Gael jeered at him. âCome on, Knox. I miss our old day.â
âYou are old, I am not,â Knox said in a matter of fact tone.
âDamn you shattered soul,â Gael hissed, he would love to burn Knox, but unfortunately, his power wouldnât be enough to tackle him down, he could feel it that he was getting stronger, or maybe he was the one, who became weaker⦠âLetâs go inside.â
Gael only took two steps forward, but then there were a dozen guards came to them with four in their beastâs form.
âBack off! Who are you!â A man with long red hair came forward, he had scar on his left cheek, as a result of a battle, it seemed he was the leader among these people.
Meanwhile, the two men, who were burned by Gael had been helped and the fire had been put off. They would be fine in a matter of minutes, since there were not serious injuries.
âCall your alpha, we only need to see him,â Knox replied calmly, he didnât even worried when they were surrounded and all of them were ready to shift into their beast and attack, Zuri was familiar with this.
âGet out of our pack right now, or else, we will not show any mercy on you,â the man with long, red hair growled at them. His claws had emerged from the tips of his fingers threateningly.
âWe donât need your mercy,â Knox said, but when he was talking to him, Gael was running out of his patient, as he flicked his fingers and rows of pine trees were on fire.
Knox glanced at him, as if saying; what are you doing now?
âThis will be faster to call the alpha, since we have already created a commotion.â Gael shrugged his shoulder nonchalantly.
âYou mean to make a bigger commotion?â Knox narrowed his eyes, he completely displeased with the way Gael handled the situation.
âWhatâs wrong with you? Knox that I know is not someone, who doesnât love to have a confrontation a little. Are you scared now?â Gael teased him.
Yet, their conversation was cut off when a man walked out of the pack house, from the way he carried himself and the dominant aura around him, Zuri knew immediately that he was the alpha of the pack.
Even so, her eyes fixed on the man, who was walking next to the alpha. It had been a long time, since the last time they met.
âBlueâ¦â Aaron sighed her name, as if he was glad to see her there, just like an old friend. âIt has been a while, right?â
Zuri shifted her attention and looked at Chaos, but he vanished all of sudden and appeared again in front of Aaron.
