Chapter 78
Untamed: The Alpha
78 HE TAKES THE PAIN FOR HER
âWhat do you mean he is not here?â There was no way Blue could escape from that strange place without Chaosâ help. She was sure that she was not dreaming about that. She could even still smell his coffee scent inside this room... âHe was here,â she insisted.
âHe was here and now he was gone.â
Blue was silent, letting the words sink in her mind when he said that Chaos was gone. She didnât like the sound of it.
âWhen will he come back?â she asked sullenly.
âI donât know.â This time, Knox really didnât know when Chaos would return and he was a little worried about it as well.
Unlike before, this time the way he left bothered him and he couldnât help but remember the last words that he said to him.
âIs he all right?â Blue muttered, she looked down. She just escaped the clutches of death, but there was no joy in her voice or face.
Whether she didnât realize it yet or not, she didnât seem aware of her little journey to the underworld realm and the chaos that the man had created because he thought he lost her.
He indeed lost her, but he got her back...

âOf course, he is fine.â
âHow can you say that?â
âBecause I am alive.â That was the only solid proof that Chaos was not dead yet. After all, that abominable creature couldnât have died so easily...
He wouldnât die, but maybe âvanishâ would be the right word to use in his case.
=====================
Hades was livid when he learned what Chaos had done to reach the girl. He had created havoc in his own hell.
What the f*ck with the way this abominable creature was thinking?!
However, when he saw the man sitting on the ground, leaning his back against the wall behind him, he calmed down a little bit.
Chaos was not in good shape.
What he had done in the underworld had taken a toll on him now.
âYou are so stupid to take the pain from the girl.â Hades approached him and stopped just two steps away from him.
It was only then that Chaos lifted his head and stared at Hades. He threw him a nasty look. âShe was in pain,â he hissed as the very same pain rendered him exhausted.
âOf course she was, but it doesnât change the fact that you are so stupid to take the pain away from her,â he said righteously.
âYou said nothing about the pain.â Chaos just knew when he was about to take Blue out of that d*mn place that it would cause her an excruciating pain.
Apparently, those devils in the underworld couldnât get out from that f*cking place because they were not able to endure the pain.
They, who had belonged to that place, wouldnât be able to leave without feeling the pain, as if they were being skinned alive, while their body was burning.
That was the same feeling that Chaos had to endure right now, the pain that Blue had to go through as well for a brief moment.
âBecause you didnât ask.â Hades tilted his head. âKeep doing this and she will become your weakness. You do remember those creatures that want you to cease to exist. They will hunt her down to bring you to your knees.â Hades clicked his tongue, as if he was reprimanding a nine years old child. âYou are hopeless.â
Chaos ignored those words as he closed his eyes. He needed to get better soon, so he could leave this place.
âAnd I still donât forgive you for releasing those monsters.â Hades then walked away from this realm.
It was not a specific place that one could find it easily, this place was a realm that Chaos created for himself, thus no one would be able to enter without his permission.
He needed time to heal...
===============
Lise still didnât want the baby, but Sol kept telling her that she only took the decision out of anger and that was not her at all.
Though Lise kept yelling at him that the childhood friend, the woman that he knew, had long gone, Sol didnât budge with his decision.
âIf you donât want the baby, we can put the baby up for adoption.â At least with this, if one day Lise changed her mind and she wanted to see her baby, she would still have a chance.
Sol knew her very well. She was not someone that would kill an innocent soul, just because she wanted to free herself and make herself feel better.
This wouldnât make her feel better, this would only destroy her.
Because when she finally realized it, the guilt, for killing her own flesh and blood, would eat her alive. She wouldnât be able to get rid of that thought out of her mind...
âWe arrived,â Sol informed Lise, who was sleeping, resting her head on his shoulder.
They took a taxi back to the Fokosa city and Sol could see how much damage was caused by the calamity while the taxi driver spoke about the casualties and also sad stories from the people, who lost their loved ones.
Lise stirred awake, she was on medication and this made her feel sleepy most of the time, therefore, she missed seeing the ruined city along their way.
Fortunately, this part of the Fokosa City, which was Williams family residences, didnât seem to receive so much damage.
âLetâs go,â Sol said softly, he got out of the car after giving the driver the money and then opened the door for Lise.
âI donât want to stay with your family.â There was no offense in her words, Lise just didnât want to mingle with other people in her current condition.
âDonât worry, we will leave after I see my father,â Sol reassured her.
However, someone suddenly talked behind him. âWho said you can leave?â
