The soft glow of early morning light seeped through the curtains as arabella stirred in her bed. She wasn't fully awake, her dreams still clinging to her like a warm blanket. The sudden knock at her bedroom door startled her, followed by the familiar voice of alessio

"Arabella ? You need to get up. It's urgent."

i blinked still groggily, sitting up as alessio opened the door slightly, peeking in with a concerned expression.

His usual easygoing demeanor was replaced by something more serious, which immediately put me on edge.

Alessio? What's going on?" i asked, my voice still thick with sleep.

"You're das called me early this morning," he explained. "There's an emergency at work, and i need to handle it. But i also needs you to come with me."

I frowned, pushing my hair out of her face. "Me? Why?"

"He didn't give me all the details, but he said it's important. Get dressed, we need to leave soon."

Nodding, i swung my legs out of my bed and quickly got ready the urgency in Alessio's voice made me move faster than usual. I grabbed her bag and met him in the living room within minutes.

Alessio was waiting by the door, keys in hand. His usual calm eyes held a hint of worry, and that alone made me anxious.

As we drove through the quiet streets, the morning sun casting a golden glow over everything, i tried to piece together what could be so important. "Do you have any idea what this is about?"

Alessio shook his head, keeping his eyes on the road. "Your dad was vague, but he said you'd understand when we got there."

The drive felt longer than it actually was, the silence between us filled with unspoken questions. When we finally pulled up to my dad's office building, Alessio parked and looked at me.

"Ready?" he asked.

I nodded, though i wasn't sure what to expect. We made our way inside.

Alessio led me to a conference room, where a few other people were gathered, all looking tense.

My dad's assistant approached us her face relieved. "Thank goodness you're here, Ara. We need your help with a presentation your dad was working on. It's crucial for the meeting in an hour."

I blinked in surprise. "Me? But I'm not prepared..."

"We know, but you've helped your dad with similar projects before. You're the only one who knows his system well enough to pull this off."

Alessio gave me a reassuring squeeze on the shoulder. "You've got this, Arabella. I'll be here if you need anything."

Taking a deep breath, i nodded then i quickly dove into the work, my mind focusing on the task at hand with Alessio's support and my own determination, i managed to piece together the necessary presentation just in time.

As the meeting wrapped up successfully, ny dad's voice came through on a video call. "Thank you, Arabella . I knew I could count on you."

I smiled, feeling a surge of pride. It had been an unexpected morning, but with Alessio by my side i couldn't have faced the challenge head on. As we left the office together, I couldn't help but feel a wave of sadness come over me

The drive began in silence, the hum of the engine and the occasional honk from other cars filling the space between them. I stared out the window trying to gather my thoughts

Look," I finally began my voice steady but soft, "I don't know how we got there, but we can't just ignore it."

Alessio sighed, his grip on the steering wheel tightening. "I know, Arabella, I've been thinking about it all night."

I turned to face him, searching his face for any sign of what he was feeling. "It was... unexpected. And I don't want things to get weird between us." i said while sighing

"Neither do I," Alessio agreed, his eyes briefly meeting mines before returning to the road.

I nodded, appreciating his honesty with me alessio

pulled into the driveway of my house and turned off the engine. He leaned back in his seat, letting out a deep breath. "Arabella, you're important to me. You always have been Last night... it caught me off guard"

i felt a mixture of relief and anxiety. "So, what do we do now?"

"It can never happen again i don't know what came over me but let's just forget it ever happened because it didn't mean anything ," Alessio said.

"Yeah, that sounds right i guess ," and got out the car

" Arabella wait" he shouted but i just wanted to be in my bed right now

i ran up the stairs to my room how could i be so stupid of course it didn't mean anything to him i'm just a stupid little girl to him and i always will be in his eyes i put some pajamas on

and laid in bed quietly sobbing on my pillow crying my self to sleep
