0019| the plan
MY DADDYS BEST FRIEND||18+
Emilo Armani
The early morning sunlight streamed through the window, casting a warm glow across the room. Emilio stirred awake, rubbing his eyes as memories of the previous night flooded his mind. Arabella's tear-streaked face haunted him, and he couldn't shake the feeling of helplessness.
Whatever had caused her such pain, she wasn't ready to share it, but as her father, he was determined to do something to lift her spirits.
Sitting up in bed, Emilio reached for his phone, an idea forming in his mind. He decided to plan a surprise trip, something to take Arabella's mind off whatever was troubling her. A few days away might be just what she needed to reset and find some happiness again.
He dialed Sarah's number first, hoping her best friend could help.
"Hey, Emilio!" Sarah's cheerful voice greeted him. "What's up?"
"Morning, Sarah. I need your help," Emilio began, his tone serious. "Arabella's been really down lately, and I want to do something special for her. I'm thinking of planning a surprise trip. Are you in?"
"Absolutely," Sarah responded without hesitation. "Anything for arabella ,What's the plan?"
"I'm thinking we can take a trip to the bahamas It's peaceful, and it'll be a nice getaway. I'll handle the arrangements; I just need you and Carter to be there to support her."
"Count us in," Sarah said eagerly. "I'll let Carter know. When are we leaving?"
"In a couple of days. I'll keep you posted," Emilio replied. "Thanks, Sarah. This means a lot."
"Of course, Emilio. We'll do whatever it takes to make her feel better."
Ending the call, Emilio felt a sense of relief knowing Sarah and Carter were on board. Now, for the more complicated part of the plan. He scrolled through his contacts until he found Alessio's number and pressed call.
"Emilio, hey," Alessio answered, his voice sounding slightly wary. "Everything okay?"
"Not exactly," Emilio admitted. "I got home last night and found Arabella crying. She wouldn't tell me what was wrong, but it's clear something's bothering her. I'm planning a surprise trip to the cabin, and I want you to come."
There was a pause on the other end before Alessio responded, his voice cautious. "Emilio, I'm not sure if that's a good idea."
"Why not? You're practically family," Emilio insisted. "She could use all the support she can get right now."
Alessio sighed. "It's complicated. I don't want to make things worse."
"Nonsense," Emilio replied firmly. "Arabella needs her friends and family around her. Besides, if it's awkward, you can always bring someone along. What about that woman you had dinner with the other night?"
Alessio's heart sank at the mention of the dinner, guilt gnawing at him. "Emilio, I don't think that'sâ"
"Come on, Alessio," Emilio interrupted, his tone light. "It'll be fun. A little company might be good for you too."
Alessio hesitated, knowing he was walking a fine line. But Emilio's persistence was hard to resist, and he didn't want to let him down. "Alright, I'll come. But I'm not sure about bringing anyone else."
"Fair enough," Emilio said, satisfied. "Just be there. We'll make sure Arabella has a trip to remember."
After ending the call, Alessio leaned back in his chair, a heavy sigh escaping his lips. The last thing he wanted was to bring even more tension into arabella's life, but Emilio's insistence left him little choice. He only hoped the trip wouldn't make things more complicated than they already were.
Meanwhile, Emilio felt a renewed sense of purpose. With the trip in motion and everyone on board, he was determined to do whatever it took to bring a smile back to his daughter's face. She deserved happiness, and he wouldn't rest until he saw her truly happy again.
Emilio leaned back in his chair, satisfied with the progress of his plan to lift Arabella's spirits. But as he thought more about it, he realized that Alessio seemed burdened as well. Emilio wanted his best friend to enjoy the trip too, to have a break from whatever was weighing him down. A mischievous idea crossed his mindâwhy not surprise Alessio with some company?
Recalling the mention of the woman Alessio had been seen with, Emilio decided to take matters into his own hands. He pulled out his phone again, determined to make this trip enjoyable for everyone.
After a quick search, he found the number Alessio had saved in his phone for her. Without overthinking it, he dialed the number, waiting as the line rang.
"Hello?" a soft, unfamiliar voice answered.
"Hi, this is Emilio, Alessio's friend," he began, his tone friendly. "I hope I'm not catching you at a bad time."
"Oh, hi! No, it's fine. How can I help you?" she asked, sounding curious.
"Well, I'm planning a surprise trip for Arabella , my daughter, and a few friends. I thought it might be nice for Alessio to have someone special there too. I know you two had dinner recently, and I was wondering if you'd like to join us. It's a peaceful trip by the beach in the bahamas, a perfect getaway."
There was a brief pause before she replied, her voice a mix of surprise and hesitation. "That's very kind of you, Emilio. But are you sure Alessio would be okay with this?"
"Absolutely," Emilio assured her. "He might not admit it, but he could use the company. I think it'll be a great opportunity for all of us to unwind and have a good time. Besides, it's a surprise for him. I'm sure he'll appreciate it."
She chuckled softly. "Well, if you're sure, I'd love to come. It sounds like a wonderful trip."
"Great! I'll send you the details. We're leaving in a couple of days," Emilio said, feeling pleased with himself. "Thank you for agreeing. I think this will make the trip even better."
After finalizing the arrangements, Emilio ended the call, a satisfied grin spreading across his face. He couldn't wait to see Alessio's reaction. He hoped the surprise would help lighten the mood and give Alessio a chance to relax and enjoy himself.
Emilio felt confident that this trip would be exactly what they all needed. Arabella would have her friends by her side, Alessio would have someone to share the experience with, and together they could create some new, happier memories.
