The morning sun streamed through the windows, casting a warm glow across the house. Emilio was already up, bustling around the kitchen, excitement buzzing through him as he prepared breakfast. Today was the day they were leaving for the surprise trip to the Bahamas, and he couldn't wait to see the look on Arabella's face when he revealed the destination.

Arabella shuffled into the kitchen, still groggy from sleep. She plopped down at the table, rubbing her eyes. "Morning, Dad."

"Morning, sweetheart," Emilio greeted with a smile, placing a plate of pancakes in front of her. "I've got a little surprise for you."

She raised an eyebrow, curiosity sparking in her tired eyes. "A surprise?"

Emilio nodded, taking a seat across from her. "We're going on a trip. I thought it'd be good for you to get away for a few days."

Her eyes widened. "A trip? Where to?"

He grinned, keeping the destination a secret. "You'll find out when we get there. Just pack for warm weather and bring your swimsuit."

A flicker of excitement danced in her eyes, momentarily lifting the cloud of sadness that had lingered for days. "Okay, this sounds fun. Who's coming?"

"Just a few friends," Emilio said vaguely, not wanting to spoil the surprise. "Sarah, Carter, and a couple of others. It'll be a good time."

Lila nodded, the anticipation growing. She quickly finished her breakfast and headed upstairs to pack. Emilio watched her go, a sense of relief washing over him. The trip was already off to a good start.

The rest of the morning was a flurry of activity as everyone prepared for the trip. Sarah and Carter arrived early, their suitcases in tow and smiles plastered on their faces.

"This is going to be amazing," Sarah said, giving Lila a hug. "We all need this getaway."

Carter nodded in agreement. "Yeah, some fun in the sun is exactly what the doctor ordered."

They helped Lila finish packing, laughter filling the room as they discussed what to wear and the activities they wanted to do once they arrived. Despite the lingering thoughts of Alessio and the events of the past few days, Lila couldn't help but feel a spark of excitement.

As the group gathered in the living room, Emilio announced it was time to go. "Alright, everyone ready? Let's get this show on the road."

They piled into the car, the atmosphere buzzing with anticipation. Emilio glanced at arabella in the rearview mirror, relieved to see her smiling again. The drive to the airport was filled with chatter and laughter, the excitement of the unknown destination keeping everyone on their toes.

Once they arrived at the airport, Emilio handed out their tickets, the surprise destination finally revealed. Arabella's eyes widened as she read the destination: Nassau, Bahamas.

"The Bahamas?!" she exclaimed, her excitement bubbling over. "Dad, this is amazing!"

Emilio grinned, proud of his plan. "I thought you'd like it. Let's make this a trip to remember."

As they boarded the private jet, Arabella couldn't help but feel a sense of hope. Maybe this trip was exactly what she needed to clear her mind and find some happiness again. Little did she know, the biggest surprises were yet to come.
