"antonio you better have some information on those shipments " i said while poring myself a glass of whiskey i was already slightly irritated we had a few shipments missing somebody is stealing from me

"Capo the russians are responsible for the last few missing shipments and from what we found out it's seems as if they are planning something"

"good work i'll be coming down to Italy for a little to handle a few things" i said while lessening my tie it's clear i can't trust anyone right now we have a mole and i intend to find out who it is

" great ill see you soon capo" and he hung up

i feel like i cant trust anyone anymore i hate leaving arabella but i cant not leave her here alone let alone take her with me things are just to dangerous right now especially since i know the russians are planning something

there was one person i knew who could help with this so i picked up my phone and dialed alessio's number

" i need a favor from you" i needed to get to italy as soon as possible so i didn't want to waste any more time

"no hi hello my dearest best friend" he says while laughing

"we have a mole and i have to go to Italy for a while to handle thing and i need someone to stay and take care of arabella, the russians are up to something and until i figure what it's not safe for her to be alone"

"cazzo ill take care of her while you're gone nothing will happen to her " i let out a deep breath

"thank you i owe you" i hung up and sat my phone down i need to talk to arabella so this isn't a surprise to here im sure she wouldn't mind but we definitely need to have a talk

i left my office and went up to her room softly knocking on her door

"princess can i come in please"

"yeah dad give me a sec" i heard her quickly shuffling around before she opened her door

i walked in and sat on her bed "so princess i have to go to Italy for some business for a while and i can't leave you here all alone so alessio's staying with you"

" WHATT NO ABSOLUTELY NOT dad im not a child anymore i don't need to babysat especially not by him" she was practically full on screaming at this point i could see the anger in her eyes

if only i could tell her the real reason why she can't be left alone but not now not yet it's not time and she definitely not ready

" i know princess but it has to be this way i'm sorry okay" it was very clear she wasn't having it at all as she went on yelling once again about how she's old enough to be alone for a few days but i just don't understand why she has a problem with alessio staying they used to be so close

this would be a good chance for them to catch up like the old times

"i'm sick of always being treated like a kid im not 5 years old anymore and I'm a grown woman dad it's like you don't trust me"

"sweetie it's not that i don't trust you it's just i don't need to doing anything to crazy while im away" i tried to laugh it off but she wasn't having it

"look i promise i'll make it up to you okay as soon as get back i will please don't be mad at me you know i love you and the only thing i want is for you to be safe"

she took a deep breath before she got up and hugged me

" i'm not mad at you dad maybe i just over reacted a little bit im sorry"

it's time like these i really cherish with my daughter i don't know what id do if id lost her which is why it's so important i figure out what's going on so that nothing happens to her

stephanie was arabella's mother and the love of my life it's my fault she died if i had just had realized sooner we had a rat

i could have stopped them from taking her i shouldn't have left that day
