Chapter 117
Sharing Beatrice A Luna to her Stepbrothers
117-A Little Possessive Alpha King.
âFine. I am sorry!â he whispered after he realized he had messed up.
âSorry for what? hitting me or using my feelings to boost your ego?â I tilted my head, folding my arms over my chest.
âHow can someone change so much in a few months?â He questioned me, as he didnât like how I wasnât letting it go as I used to before.
âIt didnât happen in months; it happened overnight.â I shrugged to let him know it took even a short time for me to get over him and the others. So far, I was accusing myself of annoying him, but little did I know, Helel liked my attention, yet he always told me he didnât.
âIf you guys are done fighting, can somebody carry me on their back, please?â I felt someone cradling my ankle and then murmuring. I looked down and watched Cold look at me with a pout on his lips.
âYou want my forgiveness?â I then turned to Helel, and he instantly straightened his posture to show he would do any- thing to earn my forgiveness.
âCarry him on your back and take him to our mansion,â I demanded, and his shoulders slouched down immediately.
I just didnât feel like leaving Colt in the woods was a good idea. Whoever had sent his men to get Colt would send more people. Besides, Colt didnât deserve to live in the woods like an animal.
âYou want me to take this man to our mansion so that he can stay close to you while you kick me out of your life like I donât even exist?â Helel placed his hands on his waist and scoffed at me, shaking his head and smiling in disbelief.
âSo, you are not guilty of slapping me?â I pouted, remind- ing him I would accept his forgiveness for hitting me if he helped Colt.
âYou are asking for too much. And why is he living in the woods, anyway?â Helel raised another question to make an excuse for not taking Colt home.
âBecause your warriors had locked his apartment,â I grunted, hunching down to help Colt get up when I felt Helel push me out of the way and almost trip me.
âI can help him,â Helel grunted, glaring at me for touching Colt. I was stunned. He had never acted like that.
Helel and possessiveness didnât stand in the same sen- tence. I remember praying if any of them showed jealousy or possessiveness, and now that he was showing it, I wasnât re- ceiving it well. Or maybe he was only being this harsh because it was someone outside the mansion. He would be back to normal if it were his brothers since they love sharing.
Helel had helped Colt get up, and now the two were star- ing at me.
âColt! We can stay in a motel for a night,â I spoke directly to Colt, who nodded his head.
âWe? Please explain we.â Helel almost let go of him and held him back when I deepened the glare in his face.
âI am not letting him stay by himself when he is in this condition,â I argued with Helel, who was shaking his head in disapproval.
âIsnât she sweet?â Colt, being a little out of his senses, spoke to Helel when praising me. Helel clenched his fists and turned his head to glare at Colt.
âFine! Letâs take him home, but he is not staying in your bedroom.â Helel said in a rough and grumpy voice.
âSo you are carrying me on your back?â Colt asked, form- ing a huge smile across his lips. I could tell Helel was getting annoyed, but he still gave up and carried Colt on his back. âYou are tall!â Colt commented, laughing hysterically.
I donât know what they injected in him, but he was sound- ing drunk. I followed Helel to his car, and soon we were on our way back to the mansion. Helel didnât let me sit in the back- seat with Colt for obvious reasons.
âAfter this favor! I donât want you to use that excuse that I hit you,â Helel muttered, focusing on the road and holding the steering wheel in his clenched fists.
âWhy were you in the woods, and who were those men?â Helel questioned why I didnât add a comment to his state-ment.
âThey were after Colt,â I said, not exposing Coltâs reality to Helel.
âHm! And you still think he is not dangerous? He got you in trouble way too many times, Bea!â Helel complained, speeding up a little.
âDonât call me that when we are alone because sure as hell you are afraid to say it in front of others.â I rolled my eyes when I forbade him from giving me any nicknames. I have heard him correct himself before his brothers. He doesnât have to fool me anymore tone.
âYou are being so harsh on me,â Helel whispered in a sad âColt and I are trying to find a way to save you all from Gwen.â I uttered it once again and hoped he would listen to me seriously this time.
âI told you, I donât care about her,â Helel repeated himself.
âI am not talking about that. Gwen is a weredragon and a mistress of doomsday. I just donât know how long before she attacks you guys,â I stated, and Helel slowed down in the parking lot of the mansion.
âWhat you are saying is a huge claim, Bea!â Helel still used a nickname, and he even raised his brow to show me he could call me whatever he wanted.
I didnât proceed to argue with him because I had a tough night ahead.
âI will prove it to you that I am not saying this because I am jealous of her,â I didnât turn to him and walked out of the car.
âI know you are not lying. But what if it is a misunder- standing?â Helel got out of the car and asked me while also taking Colt out of the car.
âIâam sure it is not,â I said, and Helel frowned a little.
âI will come to your room tonight!â As Helel threw Coltâs arm around his shoulder and picked him up, he also told me what he was planning for the night.
âHelel! I am not doing all that again,â I said, bringing my eyebrows together and watching him through them.
âI meant to talk about Gwen!â Helel rolled his eyes as he explained why he wanted to come to my room.
