You Can't Bear The Responsibility
Hidden Marriage - Amazing Husband 【Finale】
"I'll drive my own car." Isha waved her car keys.
Meera nodded. "See you another day. I'll bring Jio along."
Jio followed Meera happily.
Isha went to the parking lot to get her car and saw a familiar middle-aged woman. She should be Mrs. Gagan, whom Meera had just persuaded to leave.
When Isha came out just now, she had caught a glimpse of her side profile.
Isha stopped opening the car door. Although it was presumptuous, she really wanted to ask Mrs. Gagan a few questions.
"Mrs. Gagan," she called after her.
The middle-aged woman turned around and looked at Isha. She recognized her too. "Are you Isha?"
"That's me."
"As it happens, I have a few questions for you." Mrs. Gagan didn't sound too polite. Perhaps as the director's wife, she had a natural resistance to beautiful young actresses.
"Let's have coffee together," Isha said with a smile.
They sat down in the café. Mrs. Gagan was the first to ask, "Did you succeed in your audition today?"
"No. I have no place in this project." Isha smiled.
"That's true. That role must have been given to Tinki."
Puzzled, Isha asked, "Oh? How do you know that if you didn't go in?"
"How could I not know? That woman, Shina, is extremely flirtatious. When she was young, she hooked up with big directors and investors. Everyone thinks that she's capable and won the Best Actress Award herself. If she wasn't good in bed, would she have the opportunity to act in a blockbuster and get such a big investment?" When Mrs. Gagan mentioned Shina, she revealed a look of disdain.
"But Shina didn't come today. You should know that she's cooperating with the police investigation," Isha said.
"Serves her right. I know she didn't come, but isn't her daughter there? Hmph. She masks herself well outside. No one else knows about her rotten affairs. I'm not in the dark, though. I just wanted to see how she was going to push her daughter up the ladder when she's in jail."
The thought in Isha's mind intensified. She asked, "So, Shina was involved with many men when she was young?"
"That's right. It's just that at that time, technology wasn't developed and her scandals rarely circulated. Moreover, that woman seemed the most humble. She looked so innocent and naive. Men were tricked and even said that she was a warm woman. There were also men like Yash Pratap who were willing to abandon their wives and children to be with her."
"Are her children Yash Pratap's, then?"
Mrs. Gagan smiled. "Isha, I think we hit it off. I'm not sure if her children are Yash Pratap's, but do you think that Shina is so popular in the industry that many directors and investors are willing to help her because of her good character? I'm afraid even she can't tell who her children belong to."
Her words were filled with contempt and disdain for Shina.
Isha could more or less understand Mrs. Gagan's mentality. After being betrayed, she could not bear to let go. It was easy for a person's personality to become more and more twisted.
Such a thing was quite annoying.
But were those scumbags completely blameless?
Mrs. Gagan was in a much better mood after complaining so much in front of Isha. "Isha, don't learn from those people. Although the path you're taking is a little difficult, after you walk out of it, you have to be honest and hold your head high. Otherwise, you'll be ashamed for the rest of your life. You'll have to return the things you exchanged by spreading your legs sooner or later."
Her words were rough but reasonable. Isha thanked her for her kindness.
When she got home and saw Shivam, Isha immediately told him about this.
"From Mrs. Gagan's tone, Tinki and Tapas Pratap might not be Yash Pratap's children. Shina's private life is very messy. It's hard to say that she didn't find Yash Pratap just to take on the role of her children's fathers." Isha summarized Mrs. Gagan's words. "I saw Director Gagan treating Tinki quite differently today."
"Grandpa has already arranged for a trustworthy doctor to check their DNA. We'll know soon. However, it's even more necessary to stop them from coming back to the family now. The entire Pratap family can't be ruined by these two people."
Isha nodded. "When I came back, I realized I forgot to ask Mrs. Gagan if there were any photos or videos of Shina cheating. Doesn't Yash Pratap treat that woman like a treasure? I can let him see what the woman he loves looks like when she's outside cheating on him."
"Since Shina has done these things, she must have left traces. It's not too late to look for the evidence now. I'll arrange for someone to look for her immediately."
Isha knew that Shina was really going to have it rough this time.
Old Master Pratap's trusted doctor was conducting a DNA test for Tapas Pratap and Tinki.
Yash Pratap also accompanied them.
The three of them didn't care about Tapas Corporation at all. They left a mess behind and washed their hands of it.
Of course, the shareholders cursed them, but they could not find the culprit, so they could only admit that they were unlucky.
Everyone who bought the shares of Tapas Corporation suffered a huge loss.
Shipra and Yami Tiwari were also dumbfounded. They were so arrogant back then, but now, they were so dejected.
Yash Pratap and the other two did not feel like they had done anything wrong at all. The most important thing was that they kept their benefits and advantages.
"Doctor, when will the results be out?" Yash Pratap asked.
"The reports will be out in two days. We'll have the reports be sent straight to the old master by then."
Yash Pratap didn't think there was anything wrong with this. "Alright, then I'll have to trouble you guys. The sooner we get it done, the sooner we can send the reports over. In three days, we'll be having a ceremony to celebrate our return to the family."
"Don't worry, we'll handle it as the old man instructed."
Yash Pratap walked out with Tapas Pratap and Tinki. "Don't worry, this matter will be settled soon. In three days, under the protection of Pratap Group, no one will dare to do anything to us."
"Yes, this is what we wanted before." Tapas Pratap nodded.
However, from wanting to take over Pratap Group to establishing Tapas Corporation to now, just wanting to return to the Pratap family, their family's psychological bottom line was being lowered infinitely bit by bit.
They hoped nothing would go wrong this time.
This was their last escape route.
After returning home, Yash Pratap, Tapas Pratap, and Tinki returned to their rooms to rest.
However, Tinki only put down her bag for a while and waited anxiously before leaving with her bag again.
When Tinki opened the door, she bumped into Yash Pratap and was shocked. "Dad, why aren't you resting?"
"I came out to take a call. Where are you going?"
"I'm going shopping with a friend. I have a new film starting soon. I'm buying things in preparation for that."
Yash Pratap was relieved that his daughter was still outstanding.
Yash Pratap said to Tinki, "Go on. Come home early."
Tinki lowered her head. Yash Pratap couldn't tell what was wrong with her mood.
Tinki immediately went out. She wore a mask and drove herself. After circling around twice, she went straight to the hospital.
.......
Two days later, Tinki and Tapas Pratap's DNA test results were placed on Old Master Pratap's study table.
"Old Master, we did the examination as you intended. These are the reports."
"Yes, good work." Old Master Pratap looked pleased as he flipped through the reports.
"Old Master, about Mr. Pratap..."
"I'll talk with Shivam again. I'm also thinking about the overall situation for everyone's sake. Shivam will suffer for a while, but I won't let him suffer forever."
After this matter was settled, he had to control Yash Pratap and his children and not let them go against Shivam.
In his heart, he loved Shivam the most.
He raised him himself, and he was his grandson. How could he not love him?
But as the head of the family and an elder, he had too many things to consider. Instead of letting Yash Pratap roam outside again, he might as well keep him by his side.
On the day of the ceremony, Yash Pratap arrived at the Pratap family's mansion early with his children.
Tinki and Tapas Pratap were dressed very simply, completely in line with the expectations of the elders.
Now was not the time to be high-profile. According to Shina, they had to gain the favor of their grandparents as much as possible and try to gain a foothold before anything else.
"Please come in, Sir, Young Master, Young Lady." The butler stepped forward and ushered the three of them inside.
The other members of the Pratap family were also present. Most of these people were collateral relatives. Although they were from the Pratap family, their status was not high enough to criticize Yash Pratap. Moreover, Old Master Pratap had already shown the DNA reports.
Everyone was just here to observe the ceremony.
Yash Pratap had also invited some friends to attend the ceremony, so the scene was solemn but also lively.
Isha and Kareena appeared together. Isha lowered her eyes and accompanied Kareena.
"Isha?" When Tinki saw her, she looked a little surprised. Could Isha come to such an occasion? However, on second thought, even her father had invited some friends to attend the ceremony. Isha was on good terms with Kareena, so it was not a big deal for her to come to this ceremony.
She wondered if Shivam would come.
"Fourth Uncle, Third Aunt, Fifth Grandpa, Uncle." When Yash Pratap saw the Pratap family members, he went forward to greet them.
After all, he had lived in the Pratap family for nearly 30 years. His family members were very familiar with him and had feelings for him, so they responded politely.
"Hmph." When Yash Pratap walked to Kareena's side, he could not hide his disgust. If not for Kareena, Shina would not have fallen into such a state.
He walked away from Kareena without looking at her.
Kareena's expression was indifferent. She didn't mind Yash Pratap's attitude because in her heart, she had long abandoned Yash Pratap. His attitude couldn't trigger her emotions at all.
"Butler, where's my dad?" Yash Pratap asked when Old Master Pratap didn't come down.
The butler said respectfully, "Please wait a little longer, Sir. The old man should be down soon."
"Okay." Yash Pratap raised his wrist to look at the time. Even though he was anxious, it was not convenient for him to keep urging the old man.
The butler stood silently.
In the study upstairs, Old Madam Pratap said disapprovingly, "It's fine to let Yash return to the family. He's our son, and we've poured our blood, sweat, and tears into him. I can still remember how he looked when he was young. I remember what our mother-son relationship was like.
"But Tapas Pratap and Tinki can't return to the family. In the past, I doted on them and was very soft-hearted. I felt that it wasn't easy for them. But as you can see, after Tapas Pratap obtained the shares from me, he went against Shivam. I definitely can't tolerate such a thing happening again."
"I've already decided that letting them stay in the Pratap family is better than letting them go out and causing trouble where we can't see them. I'll discipline them well," Old Master Pratap said.
"I didn't say that I don't want them, but having their names in the genealogy is a big deal! It won't be good if they betray us in the future!" Old Madam Pratap said angrily.
"No matter what, I'll take responsibility!"
Old Madam Pratap looked at him and said solemnly, "I'm afraid that you won't be able to bear the responsibility!"
With that, she slammed the door and left.
Old Master Pratap stood still for a moment. He adjusted his lapels and walked out without hesitation.
When Old Madam Pratap went downstairs, Yash Pratap called out, "Mom."
"Grandma." Tapas Pratap and Tinki were respectful.
Old Madam Pratap did not reply. Her face was filled with fatigue and old age.
After what had happened last time, she understood that a moment of weakness was the scariest thing. Blood ties might not be something she could trust.
This time, she was reluctant to do anything so foolish.
Yash Pratap was a little embarrassed when there was no response from Old Madam Pratap. However, he quickly regained his composure and did not take this small issue to heart.
The matter of acknowledging their ancestors and returning to the family depended on Old Master Pratap's attitude. Even as the person in charge, Shivam could not interfere in this matter.
He didn't care about the attitudes of others.
The butler welcomed Shivam and Rudra Pratap through the garden and into the hall.
Seeing Shivam Pratap, the members of the Pratap family stood up. "Mr. Pratap."
"Please take a seat," Shivam said calmly.
Only then did everyone sit down in turn. There was a little discussion in the hall just now, but there was no longer any sound.
"Shivam." Old Madam Pratap looked at Shivam guiltily.
Rudra, who was following Shivam, also looked unusually serious. He used to always be smiling. Now that he suddenly looked like this, Old Madam Pratap felt even worse. What was going on? He was no longer his usual self. Even the person who usually smiled was no longer smiling.
"Grandma, where's Grandpa?" Shivam asked.
"He'll be down soon," Old Madam Pratap said. "Shivam..."
"Please sit down first." Shivam helped her sit down.
Yash Pratap smiled and said, "Shivam, I'm still your father. Me leaving the Pratap family back then can't change this fact. Although you don't welcome me very much, it doesn't matter. We'll still be a family in the future."
Shivam didn't even look at him. His cold expression was obvious. Yash Pratap was embarrassed, but he couldn't flare up.
