We are on our way to our dinner with my family

Gio talking about how he thinks I shouldn't damage my curls, the whole ride.

"If you ever do your straight hair I promise you ima get water and wet your hair I'm not playing," he said driving and trying to look at me

"Your so dramatic," I said as he parks the car

"Im not playing," he said and gets off the car and opens my door

"I love your curls, baby, you look beautiful," he said kissing my forehead and holding my waist and walking towards the house

We knock on the door and my mom opens it

"Heyy darling, who is this handsome guy" she asked

"Umm he i-" I was cut off when he said

"I'm her boyfriend, nice to meet you, Mrs.Gomez, I'm Giovanni Diaz," he said

"Boyfriend? How come you've never told me about him?" She said looking at me

"It was recent Mom. Where's dad?" I

said

"He is inside with the others," she said and gave us space to walk in

"Hey Father," I said walking towards him

"Heyy baby, how are yo-" he stops when he turns around and sees me and Gio

"What?" I asked

"Who's he?" He says looking at Gio

"He is my boyfriend," I said

"Nice to meet you, Mr.Gomez," Gio says and shakes his hand

"Nice to meet you too Gio," he says

"You know him?" I asked

He nods "Can I talk to you for a second?"

I nod and we head outside

"How long?" He asked

"2 months, why are you asking?"

"You know?" He said

"What? That he is in the Mafia?"I say

He looks shocked that I know "He told you? And you don't mind that he is the boss and your life is in danger if you're with him?" He says

" I know my life is in danger but I trust him and I know how to protect myself, Dad"

He nods and says "Do you love him?"

" Umm I don't know, maybe I do I don't know"

He nods again "I just want you to be safe and I'm not gonna tell you, you can't be with him but I just want you to be happy I just don't want anything bad to happen to you okay Sierra," he said giving me a hug
