Pei Shishi’s smile split even wider when she remained silent.

“You are my family; I can’t just leave you alone. How about you come work for me again? We are much larger than this small company you are in now. I can also protect you that way.”

At this point, Pei Ge understood what she was truly here for.

“I really don’t understand where you’re getting the guts to show yourself before me.” She stood up from her chair and slowly strode over to her.

“Have you forgotten that your father caused the death of mine and your mother harmed mine...”

Pei Shishi felt goosebumps rise on her skin as she watched her cousin come closer to her with each step the latter took.

“Do you think we still have anything to speak about between us? Can we still be considered as family? We’re nothing... but enemies now.”

The other interrupted her.
