“What’s wrong? Don’t I look obvious enough?”

Qu Xiujie tied his tie. There was doubt in his eyes as he looked at Murong Cheng and asked, “I’m so good-looking; can’t you see?”

“I can’t see how handsome you are, but I saw how brave you are,” countered Murong Cheng. Seeing how prim and proper his friend was acting, he could not help but laugh. There were praises in his eyes for his friend. “After all your preparation, you look indeed like you’re meeting him.”

“Then, do you believe that I can get Ji Ziming’s help now?”

Following his best friend’s exclamation, Qu Xiujie smiled and did feel pleased with himself. He did not forget that he was going to meet Ji Ziming today; more importantly, he wanted to meet Pei Ge, who had a striking resemblance to the woman in his memory.

However, to his disappointment, the woman did not allow her secretary to let him into the office and, instead, told him to leave subtly.

Standing at the lobby in her office on the first floor, his eyes darkened. Not only did the woman look like that one from his memory, even their temperament was the same.

“Aiya, go and ask your general manager. Go ask her: I’m Qu Xiujie. She knows me.”

They only let him down once he was far from Pei Ge’s office. Without saying anything, they coldly turned around and headed back to the company for work.

“Aye... You guys are revolting!”

Actually, as long as the price is reasonable, everyone is willing to send their companies to her. Plus, there is a rumor now that the boss of this company is her, and the boss that others have been talking about is only the boss in name. The real boss has been her or Ji Ziming all along.”

“Are all those facts or merely lies?”

Qu Xiujie could not believe it. It shocked him that he did not know that she was that capable. He was even considering looking for Ji Ziming first to get his help if Pei Ge was truly unwilling to meet him.
