chapter 137 Thirty-Five
Sinful Mates 1-3
Evelyn's POV
My eyes opening and the first thing I see is the canopy over the bed. Sitting up, I hear growling
making my head snap toward the chair by the door. Thaddeus's hypnotic green eyes staring back at
me, his glare chills me to the bone making me want to shrink under his intense gaze. His hands
clenched so tight I could see his knuckles pressed tightly against his skin. I gulp before forcing
myself to look away, terror running through me.
Now I utterly understood what it meant to be scared of the dark king. His anger filling the room
like a thick cloud, it was almost hard to breathe. My skin felt like it was crawling making me itchy as
he stood up making me jump off the bed and move toward the window.
It was a high drop, but I would rather that than his wrath. My hands shaking as I gripped the
windowsill behind me as he approached, stalking towards me and I suddenly felt tiny, in front of this
monster of a man, never in my life have I felt so small and breakable.
Just as he went to say something the door opened, and I let out the breath I was holding, as I
watch Orion walk in the room. My relief was short lived when I see the look on his face mirroring
Thaddeus's. He was livid and I made him that way. His usually calm demeanour now frightening as
he walked over, his eyes blood red and his fangs protruding.
âDo you have any idea what you have done?â Thaddeus spits through gritted teeth, his hands
shaking at his sides. Yet the rational part of my brain wasn't working, and I instantly regretted the
words that left my lips.
âYou are acting like I whored myself out, I left, I came back. No harm doneâ I tell him. Thaddeus
fist goes through the wall next to my face making me jump.
âYou think you did nothing wrong?â He stated and I didn't bother answering.
âYou disobeyed usâ He screamed in my face making me cower away from him. Tears brimming
and spilling onto my cheeks, my entire body starts trembling in fear.
Thaddeus grips my face forcing me to look at him, his fingers digging into my jaw as his hands
shook, he wanted to kill me. I could see it in his eyes, he wanted to hurt me, and I know if Orion
weren't standing next to him, he would have.
âI'm sorryâ I stutter before bursting into tears which only seemed to anger him more. Like
seriously what more did he want from me?
âYou're sorry? Will sorry save the people of that town when I burn it to the ground?â he asks
making my tear-filled eyes dart to his before going to Orion begging him to tell me he is only
joking.
âOr should I go pay Lana a visit? Is that what you want?â he asks gripping my face tighter
making me cry out as his nails dig in. The lights flickering above casting shadows on the walls, and I
could tell he was losing control.
âNo, please. I won't leave againâ I blurt out in panic.
âYou're right, you won't be leaving again. You will not be leaving this house ever againâ he says
through gritted teeth before grabbing my face with both hands and jerking me towards him. I see
Orion grab his arm trying to calm him before he suddenly let's go stepping back.
âYou did this to yourselfâ Orion says before turning his back on me and walking out,
abandoning me with my monster of a mate. I feel fog slipping over me, it felt cold. As cold as his
anger making me shudder as it rushed through every cell in my body making my stomach drop
somewhere deep within me. It wasn't relaxing like it usually was when they used the fogginess on
me. No, this raised goosebumps on my skin and fear consumed me paralysing me where I stood
nearly making me wet myself in fear, it was cold and demeaning.
âYou will not leave this house unless I say, and you will obey my every commandâ I felt tears
burning my eyes, my mouth speaking even though I knew this was wrong. I wanted to scream at
him, yet the force of his command smashed against me like waves hitting rocks on the beach,
violent and relentless and I knew what ever he asked of me I would not be able to deny him. My
entire body shook as the words left my lips hypnotically and I felt like I was placed on auto pilot as I
said them, not even recognising my own voice.
âI will not leave the house unless you tell me to, I will obey your every commandâ As soon the
words left my lips, I felt my freewill leave me in a rush and my shoulders sag defeated, how
ridiculously easy it was for him to take my freedom from me, not that I had much to begin with. I
suppose I should be used to being someone's toy, I was his puppet on strings he got to pull.
Thaddeus seeming satisfied, lets my face go.
âNow sit here until I say you can come outâ he tells me before turning on his heel and walking
away from me, leaving me shaken. I felt betrayed by Orion for just walking away, allowing this and
where was Ryland? Did he agree too?
My legs buckling underneath me, and I hit the floor not even feeling the impact. I felt nothing
but hollow. I don't know how long I was stuck on the floor, I wanted to get up, but I couldn't
because he told me to sit here, my body failing to do anything I needed them to do. I really needed
to pee, my bladder screaming at me and I was starting to worry he was going to leave me here to
wet myself and degrade me even more.
I let out a breath of relief when I saw him walk into the bedroom. His eyes darting to me on the
floor.
âGet up and come downstairsâ he tells me. My legs and back were killing me and I hopped up
glancing toward the bathroom, but he had already turned and left. I chased after him calling out to
him, but he ignored me and I couldn't stop myself from following his order. I followed him all the
way to loungeroom. Standing there awkwardly moving from one foot to the other.
âWhat's wrong with you?â
âI need to peeâ I told him, and he smiled. Orion and Ryland walking out of the kitchen.
âThen goâ he says, and I let out breath before turning when his voice surrounded me.
âDid I say you could go anywhere?â I turn back around confused by what he meant. A cruel
smile slipping on his face.
âThaddeus that is cruel, don't you dare,â Orion snapped at him.
âShe will learn not to disobey us.â
âThaddeus she is our mate. Just let her go to the bathroom, she can't leave the house,â Ryland
growls at him. He wouldn't, would he? Nobody should be so cruel to deny someone to use the
bathroom.
âEvelyn needs to learn there are consequences to her actions. What a perfect way to make sure
she never forgets.â His words made my face fall, and I went to turn around to head to the bathroom.
âStay where you are,â Thaddeus snaps and I freeze, my blood running cold and my entire body
tensing at his command.
âWhat?â I squeak horrified, my bladder was on the verge of bursting. I shouldn't have drank so
much water at the park, but it was hot.
âThaddeus,â Orion screamed marching toward him, but he was too late. Thaddeus words
compelling me to do as I am told.
âWet yourself."0
