Chen Xiaolang felt uneasy as if he had missed out on something. He looked at Yue Jiaojiao hesitantly. “Madam Zhao, is there anything else you want me to do? If you need any help, just tell me.”

The regret in his heart continued to expand.

He should not have tested Madam Zhao’s attitude earlier.

Yue Jiaojiao lowered her eyes and looked at Chen Xiaolang, shaking her head. “I’ll just need you to help me find that woman for now. Thank you for your trouble.”

She had originally wanted to give Doctor Zhou the benefit of the doubt and see if she could let Chen Xiaolang do some serious business. But now, she decided to take it easy. To a person who was so guarded, it would not be a good thing to rush to help when the other party did not trust her.

“Madam Zhao.”

“What?”

Chen Xiaolang felt a little scared for no reason. After a pause, she continued, “It’s okay. I’ll go and ask around in the next two days. Our house is on East Street.”

As she spoke, she gave him her address. “If there’s anything urgent, you can ask Zhao Zhan to come to my house to find me.”

Yue Jiaojiao nodded and walked to the door to open it. Fang Tianliu’s body tilted to the side and he was about to fall into the room.

Yue Jiaojiao turned her body to the side to avoid him. Li Xiangjun reached out to grab him, but she only managed to grab his belt.

Fang Tianfu, who had fallen to the ground, cried out in pain. He covered his nose and stood up with difficulty. His outer robe was loose and he looked down at the outer robe that was wrapped tightly around him. He then looked at Li Xiangjun with his eyes wide open. “You! We’re outside!”

Li Xiangjun threw the belt at his face speechlessly. “I was afraid that you would fall!”

“I’ll have to trouble you today. Can you go to Doctor Zhou to check on his injuries?”

She opened the door to send the guest off, and Chen Xiaolang limped towards the door.

“This guy didn’t bully you, right?”

Fang Tianliu stood between Yue Jiaojiao and Chen Xiaolang with a guarded look on his face. He even waved at Li Xiangjun. “Xiangjun, quickly come behind me. I’ll protect you. Stay away from this evil tyrant!”

Li Xiangjun glared at him without a care for her image. “I think you’re the one who needs to be protected!”

“Look at you, even when I’m injured, I can still knock you down with one punch.” Chen Xiaolang used his still-intact arm to gesture at Fang Tianliu. “Didn’t you get beaten up like this the last time?”

“Stop right there! If I don’t beat you to death today, my last name won’t be Fang!”

Seeing the two of them bickering like three-year-old children, Yue Jiaojiao felt a headache coming on. She waited for Chen Xiaolang to stand at the door before hurriedly closing it. “I’ll have to trouble you. I won’t be seeing you out.”

“Don’t let him go! Tell him to stop!”

Fang Tianliu was still stomping his feet and clamoring, his hands on his waist and his face full of pride. “Didn’t I say that I wasn’t afraid!”

“Shut up, I just don’t want to lower myself to your level.” Li Xiangjun pulled Fang Tianliu’s ear. “Why don’t I beat you up to wake you up? ”

“I don’t want to.”

Fang Tianliu hurriedly tried to dodge her slap.

The two of them played around for a while before they realized that they didn’t hear Yue Jiaojiao’s voice.

Li Xiangjun raised her head and realized that Yue Jiaojiao was looking at her in a daze. For some reason, her face turned red and her arms and legs hung by her side.

“You can’t hit me!”

Fang Tianliu was still calling out st*pidly, and Li Xiangjun glared at him with a red face.

Fang Tianfu was stunned. The two of them looked at each other and blushed.

Yue Jiaojiao watched with a smile on her face.

From the looks of it, Li Xiangjun had accidentally fallen in love with a husky-type person like Fang Tianliu!
