Zhao Zhan hurriedly let go.

Him crying tears of joy, or him being upset that he had been staying away from her and not by her side all this time.

However, she had not thought of this possibility. After all, he had gone to Huai County after he woke up, and only returned today.

Zhao Zhan reached out to pull Yue Jiaojiao into his arms, but his arm froze in mid-air as he looked at her stomach.

Her gaze softened, and most of the twisted emotions she had earlier dissipated.

His lover’s voice was soft and pitiful. “I think my legs are numb.” Zhao Zhan put his hands on her waist and looked nervous. “Slowly get up.”

Yue Jiaojiao was so numb that she didn’t dare to move.

Zhao Zhan steadied her on him, then retracted his right leg and stood up. He pulled her into his arms. “Let’s go back to the room. I’ll give you a massage.”
