And we broke our sister’s bond a few years later. A few days after your birth Olivia and Knox.

I’m playing with Dan and Enzo when I suddenly feel a deep pain. I feel so betrayed! Why?

“Phoebe!” I whisper.

I look at Enzo.

“Go! I’m taking care of him.” He tells me.

“Thank you!” I reply.

Phoebe is crying in her room, in the dark.

“Phoebe, what’s wrong?” I ask her, kneeling in front of her.

She turns her face to look away.

“Please!” I whisper.

“She’s so beautiful! She’s just perfect! How can I not love her?” She whispers back.

“She’s born! Can I see her?” I ask her.

“She’s sleeping with her twin brother.”

“What’s her name.”

“Olivia, Sarah... He has chosen her second name. He will ruin her life....” She replies.

Alpha William ...

“I could kill him if you ask me. You know that.”

“I swear on my blood to protect him. What I didn’t know at that time was I was pregnant with Jonas. If something happens to him now not only I will die but Jonas could too.” She explains, looking at me for the first time.

I gasp seeing her face: “Who did this to you?”

“It’s nothing!” She sighs.

“All your cheek is purple! And you have a black eye! This is not nothing.”

“Please, Hope. Stay out of this!” She begs.

“It’s Bill! How dare he!”

I get up and start to hunt him down. He’s not in the house but I have time, I will wait for him!

When he finally shows up, I launch at him but I’m stopped by a shield! Phoebe!

“How dare you touch her! She did nothing but love you!” I yell at him.

“You have no idea how she ruined my life! She can’t get attached to that girl and it’s all her fault. She needs to kn0w her place before doing something stupid again!” He replies aggressively.

If only I could tell him that I know.

“I don’t care about your reasons. Next time you dare touch her, I’m going to kill you!”

He doesn’t reply, just look on my back at Phoebe.

“Broke your sister bond with her or we’re over.” He tells her.

“What?!” She asks, shocked.

“You heard me. It’s me or her.” He repeats.

“Do it, Phoebe. We both know you will always choose him.” I tell her.

“But I will not be happy!” She protests.

“You should have to think about that before destroying our life. I don’t want her in my business so broke the fucking bond now!” He says.

When I’m back Dan is sleeping on Enzo’s lap.

“Are you okay?” He asks me.

“No... But our bond was broken and it was Bill’s idea. He banned me to go back into his territory. If I go back, he will kill me, that’s what he said.” I reply. A tear falling on my cheek.

“I’m sorry.”

“I know, me too.”

“I need your help. I need you to go over there and to put something in the kids’ room.” I ask him after a few minutes of silence.

“Let me guess. A storm light?” He says

I nod.

“Sure. You can count on me!”

“Thank you!”

“One day, you will tell me the full story, don’t you?” I ask.

“One day...” I reply.

Phoebe and the kids are visiting Melinda and Alistair. This is my chance to do the ritual. It’s the middle of the night when I enter their room. Olivia and Knox are sharing the same room. Enzo told me they were fusional twins. They are almost 18 months already and I will see them for the first time.

I’m not a witch so I’m not sure the ritual will work but I have to try. Hopefully, it will work and I will be able to protect her for Alpha William. I look at them sleeping, they are so cute!

I start the ritual but it’s not working! This is so frustrating! I fall on the floor, putting my head between my knees. I almost give up when I feel a small hand on mine. It’s Knox. How did he go down? I suddenly feel a surge of magic, he is helping me! Wow! What an amazing boy already. With his help, I’m able to finish the godmother’s ritual. I focus my vow on protecting her from Alpha William. When we are done, I put him back to bed next to Olivia. I kiss his forehead and thank him.

When I go out of the room, Alistair is waiting for me.

“How did you know I was here? I thought I was inconspicuous!”I ask him.

“You unusually were... Call it an intuition.”

I shake my head: ” It’s nice to see you Al!”

He hugs me and replies: ” I know! I missed you too!”

“What did you do there?” He asks me.

“A godmother’s ritual.”

“You know normally you need the parents’ accords.” He comments.

“I know but Bill would have never said yes and she will need it.”

“Indeed she will if she has a SO powerful godmother...”

“Don’t ask. I can’t tell you.” I tell him.

“Okay... Will Phoebe be okay? She lost a light in her eyes.” He asks me.

“I don’t think so. She will never be happy with Bill anymore but she loves him too much to realize she will be better without him.” I tell him.

“I don’t know what happened but he’s not the same anymore...”

“I know. I was hoping she would heal him again but he’s too broken this time.”

“When the time will come I might need your mate’s help. I need her to be the only one to make the spells, not Phoebe. It’s a matter of life or death. Can you convince her, please?” I ask him to change the subject.

“You’re scaring me! This is that bad?” He replies.

“Yes, it’s! Will you do it?” I tell him.

He nods:”You know I will!”

I wake up in a room I don’t know... But I know that smell. I’m at Phoebe’s house. That means Olivia is in trouble and I teleport myself through the storm light, Enzo left for me. She is screaming and has started a fire involuntarily. This is good for me! I increase the force of the fire and let the flames burn that bastard’s feet. He gets scared and runs away letting Olivia bleeding badly and unconscious. The day I find a way to kill him, I will really enjoy it.

I keep increasing the fire, letting the packhouse totally burn. Olivia needs to disappear and she will never survive that fire so it will be credible. Knox enters her room panicked.

“You need to go!” I tell him.

“No! I need to protect her!” He says.

“I promise, I will! But for that, she needs to disappear for some time. Trust me, please!”

We hear someone running toward Olivia’s room so I increase the flames to block the entrance. Phoebe is screaming outside the room.

“I trust you.” Knox says kissing in sister’s head.

“One day, I will find you and I will protect you!” He swears to her.

“I will help you to go out. Tell your mother to have Hope.” I tell him.

“It’s to have faith.” He replies.

“I know but my name is Hope. So she will understand.” I tell him.
