Chapter 1584
The Protector levi garrison
Everyone was enraged to see Levi. âWhat the hell are you doing here, Levi?â
âIâm here to see the murderer,â Levi responded coldly.
âWhat murderer? This is a training base, for Godâs sake! Get out of here and stop making a scene!â yelled Darian.
Canât he give us a godd*mn break?
Heâs been causing trouble ever since he lost his position as an instructor.
Here he is again trying to stir sh*t up at our training base.
âIâm here for the b*stard who killed Collin!â Levi demanded.
Damian glared at Levi. âThis is preposterous! Collin was a traitor who got caught leaking Erudiaâs secrets. He got what he deserved and wouldâve been sentenced to death anyway! Why the hell are you calling whoever killed him a murderer?â
This guyâs getting way out of hand!
âThatâs right,â Xaire and the other disciples chimed in. âWe saw Collin betray the country with our own eyes. There are lots of evidence too.â
âHe shouldâve been killed in the first place. Erudia is better off without a cancer like him.â
âAre you here just to cause trouble, Levi?â
Filipe finally spoke. âTheyâre right. Collin committed a serious crime. Weâve already realized long ago that heâd been betraying Erudia and selling the countryâs secrets countless times. We have plenty of evidence to prove that. Thereâs no way you can ever clear his name! Or are you actually an accomplice of his?â
He did whatever he could to slander Levi.
Filipe and Luther glanced at each other and smirked.
They had initially wanted to do something about Levi, but the latter had come to them instead.
âAccomplice?â
Everyone gazed at Levi in bewilderment.
âYou shameless thugs. Youâre the ones who killed Collin!â
Levi glared at the two men.
âYup, thatâs right. We did it. But he was a traitor, and we did what he had to. Nothing wrong with that, was there?â replied Filipe.
âYeah! You did the right thing, Mr. Jourdain. You have the support of the Dragonites and the whole country!â
âYou werenât wrong at all. You did your job well!â
In the face of concrete evidence, the Dragonites chose to believe Filipe and Luther.
Levi shook his head in frustration before gazing at the sky. âAre you a bunch of idiots? Why would Collin betray Erudia? These two guys are the ones up to no good, and they killed Collin because he was about to expose their dirty little secret!â
âThe proof is here, Levi. What more do you want?â
Darian tossed the stack of evidence at Levi.
Levi flipped through every page.
Then, his smirk widened.
Theyâve fabricated all this âevidenceâ so well.
Youâd never be able to spot any loopholes.
And theyâve surely gotten rid of everything Collin had been gathering all this while.
There was no way to clear Collinâs nameâever.
The evidence pointed to Collin as a traitor, whereas Filipe and Luther were heroes.
Levi smiled after he was done looking through the documents.
âWell? What else do you have to say? Are you still going to ask for the âmurdererâ?â the crowd asked.
âLawfully speaking, itâs true that I wonât be able to seek justice for Collin at all.â
Hearing that, everyone smiled gloatingly.
Filipe and Luther were especially triumphant.
Levi clearly knew they were the killers, but there was nothing he could do about it.
âBut Iâll seek justice my way.â
