Chapter 3250 Weak Masters
âBy the way, we still need to introduce ourselves. Weâre from the North Pavilion of the Ecclesiastic Order. They call us the Three Sages of North Pavilion. Iâm Sensos. Heâs Bulder, and thatâs Exto. We might be working behind the scenes, but we are in control of the North Pavilion. Even the head has to listen to us. Weâre among the strongest beings in North Pavilion,â Sensos revealed humbly while running a hand through his beard.
Bulder and Exto chimed in, âYou wonât lose out by agreeing to be our disciple. Weâll help you improve using legitimate skills, elixirs, and magical herbs suitable for those doing pure physique training. You can be stronger! There is more to it. Your daughter, friends, and relatives can also receive training! Youâll stand to gain more as our disciple.â
The three elders werenât good at making empty promises, so they were telling the truth.
They told Levi what he stood to gain after agreeing to be their disciple.
Right now, they were practically begging for Levi to be their disciple.
Back then, people would beg to be their disciple, but it was the total opposite now.
As they had humbled themselves, they refused to accept no as an answer.
The three stared intently at Levi as they waited for the man to give them a solid answer.
âSo you want to be my master?â Levi asked them as a frown marred his brows.
He was utterly speechless to realize that someone was bold enough to take him as a disciple.
The Three Sages replied instinctively, âYes, we want to take you as a disciple. Say yes, and we can complete the ritual now!â
They started urging him excitedly.
âForget it. Do you seriously want to be my master? Iâve never heard of masters being weaker than their disciples,â Levi mocked.
The Three Sages were stunned at his reply.
Upon hearing his comment, they looked as though they had been struck by lightning.
What does he mean by that? That isnât possible!
Levi added, âDo you seriously think youâre stronger than me? Was that why you thought you could persuade me to be your disciple?â
âYes. Weâre strong and influential enough to be your master!â the three of them responded.
âSure, I can be your disciple. However, shouldnât you be stronger than me to be my masters? Youâre weaker than me. The cheek of you to dream of being my masters!â Levi gazed at them in disbelief.
Is something wrong with them? Didnât they realize Iâm stronger than them? I canât believe they think they are mighty and undefeatable.
âHuh? How could that be?â
âYeah, we did the right thing!â
âThereâs nothing wrong in asking you to be our discipleâ¦â
The Three Sages were confused by Leviâs retort.
They still couldnât figure out what had gone wrong.
As the strongest and most influential figures in North Pavilion, they were qualified to take a young man as their disciple.
However, they were now utterly puzzled.
What went wrong?
âThereâs nothing wrong in being your masters. Youâll be the direct disciple of the Three Sages of North Pavilion! Itâs only a matter of time before you become the head of North Pavilion.â
âYeah, thatâs right. I donât think thereâs anything wrong about that!â
The Three Sages of North Pavilion scrunched their expressions in bafflement.
Levi gazed at them wordlessly as his brows snapped together.
Are they crazy? They still havenât realized it?
As Levi was staring at them as though they were fools, they belated realized what he meant.
âI think he means that heâs stronger than us, right? Or something similar.â
âOh, yes. He said something about âmasters being weaker than their disciples.ââ
They started whispering among themselves.
âWhat? Does he mean heâs stronger than us?â
Comprehension dawned on them.
Levi sneered, âYes, thatâs right. Iâm stronger than you!â
