Leah chuckled, “So, can I call you Clara? It feels kinda weird calling you Ms. Calloway all the time.”

“Of course.”

“Clara, you’re awesome! I don’t have any friends back home, you’re my first good friend!”

Clara responded warmly.

She thought back to when she was raising a child all by herself in a foreign land. Leah’s fighting her own battles back home, it’s not easy If she can give Leah a hand, she should.

After hanging up, she quickly found the morning’s timber selection proposal and sent Leah all the timber requirements.
