“Getting rid of the problem for good?” Mr. Quintin was taken aback, especially seeing her somewhat unsettling gaze.

“What are you afraid of!” Leah looked at him dismissively, I am not asking you to kill anyone!”

“But if you take action against Taylor, the Atwood family won’t let me off the hook! After all, I’m the one who brought Taylor out, not you!”

Leah looked a bit helpless, “Why are you such a coward? When did I say I was going to take action against Taylor?”

Then you didn’t you say you wanted to get rid of Taylor’s problem completely?”

1 didn’t! My target is Emmett, Taylor is just part of my plan.”

After work, Clara took the car home This time only Aiden came out to greet her, she had no idea what Alex was up to.

Clara happily bent down and picked up Aiden, “Did you finish your homework?”

Aiden nodded. “Yeah”

That’s good! Where’s your brother? Why haven’t I seen him?”

Hearing this, Aiden looked a bit embarrassed, “Mom, grandma won’t let him come out to meet you! She said she’s afraid you’re paying too much attention to Alex”

Clara was speechless.

She really couldn’t understand Sophia’s point.

“Mom, grandma thinks Alex is easy to fool, and you want to use him!”

Hearing Aiden’s explanation, Clara finally got it.

She felt a bit helpless. “Is your grandma not in a good mood lately?”

Clara took Aiden to her bedroom, and soon Alex came running “Mom! I’ve been looking for you and Alex everywhere!”

“What’s up?” Seeing him all sweaty, Clara immediately went over to wipe his face.

Alex grinned, ‘I sneaked out when grandma wasn’t looking! If she finds out, she’ll be upset, so I ran all the way here, ditching the servants who were watching me!”

“Alex” Clara poked his forehead helplessly. “If you knew grandma would be upset if she found out, why did you run out?”

“Because I missed you! I used to be with you every time you came back from work, but now grandma won’t let me, and when i protested, she said I was too young to understand anything!” Alex pouted, “Mommy, when will I grow up and understand what you guys are always talking about “Um Aiden chimed in. “This isn’t about age, if you’re smart enough, you can understand it now.”

“Aiden, I’m very smart too, you know?”
