Sophia was sitting in the gazebo drinking water when Patrick Melendez walked over.

“How’s Aiden’s injury?”

“He’s fine,” Patrick just came out of Aiden’s room, “The doctor changed his medication, and his wounds are healing well.”

Sophia nodded, “Then I can rest assured.”

“You spoil these two kids too much! They get a little hurt, and you act as if it’s a matter of life and death!”

“Of course, they’re my grandkids!” Sophia poured him a glass of water and said, “Aiden and Alex are so pitiful. If I don’t love them, nobody will!”

Patrick sat down and looked at her, “But you shouldn’t treat Clara like that.”

Sophia paused, “You also think I’ve gone too far?”

“I’m not judging you, just saying you should be polite.”

Sophia sighed, “I do it for the kids! Do you think I should find Aiden and Alex’s biological mother?”

Patrick looked at her, frowning, “Why would you want to find her?”

“To see if she can reconcile with our son! This way, Aiden and Alex would have their biological parents with them, right? Then I would be at ease!”

“What about Clara?”

“Why do you care about her? She has her own child; she should go back to where she belongs!”

Patrick thought for a moment and waved his hand, “I don’t think that’s appropriate! Since Emmett has married Clara, and the kids all like Clara, you should stop meddling!”

Sophia stood up, “I’m planning for the kids’ future! We’re old and don’t have much time left. When we’re gone, and Emmett is busy with work, those two kids will be at Clara’s mercy!”

“I don’t think Clara is as bad as you think.”

“Of course, she won’t show her true self now! We’re still here, what dare she do? What I’m worried about is, if one day…the kids don’t- have us around!”

Patrick took a sip of water and pulled his wife to sit down, “You don’t need to worry so much! At least now the family is harmonious, and the kids are all healthy.”

“That’s impossible!” Sophia thought that this method could work. “I’ll try to find the kids’ biological mother! If she can truly make Emmett fall for her and divorce Clara, won’t that be a good thing? All the current problems can be solved! If it doesn’t work, we lose nothing, at most we just use our connections!”
