“We better steer clear of this stuff.” Clara crinkled her brow, wondering why such a thing even existed.

“Getting this recipe is like getting a certain level of power. For instance, if I command Emmett right now, he’s gotta obey me. Whatever I tell him to do, he’ll do it. If I don’t give him the antidote, he’s as good as dead.”

Upon hearing this, Clara’s heart sank. “So, who’s got this recipe now?”
